It was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable

It was easy to check in, the rooms were clean, and new

There was a really overpowering reed diffuser in the room, the smell was so strong that I couldn’t sleep!

No breakfast on-site, recommended hotel nearby offered discount. Staff were pleasant but no sign of sauce, had to ask for it half-way through our cooked breakfast. We noticed that the orange juice tasted very weird and the bacon too salty for my wife. Otherwise, good quality food.

Garden patio table and chairs appreciated but very basic, one weak leg bent and under table full of cobwebs. We were advised to place used towels in 'blue' bag - hunted around for the bag - couldn't find it.

The shower was a bit basic

very comfortable and clean and exactly what we needed for a one night stop, an easy walk into Southwold.

It was all good

No breakfast included, not a big problem as I don’t eat it.

Could have done with a microwave in the kitchenette , tea, coffee, milk and chilled water were supplied and very much appreciated

The code for the key safe wasn’t easy to read or use as it wasn't well lit Disappointingly breakfast was extra Checkout time would be more convenient for us as guests if it weren’t so early (10)
