Place was clean and well maintained. This was our first time staying in a shared home rental and it was very nice. Located in a upscale neighborhood just outside of Boston. It takes a few extra minutes to get into Boston however the location was well worth it.

The entire downstairs of the house is at your disposal. Super modern, clean, all amenities available. The host, Jennifer, is charming and pleasant and super helpful. The only "issue" (and I state this in very slight terms) was gaining access with the touch lock...didnt know exactly how to use it and had to disturb the host to show us (late arrival). Definitely would stay here again !!!

Our stay at Jennifer's was lovely. My mother had always wanted to go to Boston, so for her 70th birthday I treated her to a New England journey - with Jennifer's VRBO as home base. Location - Milton is a little outside Boston (with traffic, it can take between 15 - 30 minutes). Being from Texas, that didn't bother me, as we drive 30 miles to go to the mall. However, if you want to be in the city quickly - this likely isn't ideal. If you're looking for a quiet suburb with beautiful pathways, homes and scenery - this is your place! Space - The pictures of the home don't do it justice. This space is MUCH bigger than I anticipated. We each had our own rooms with plenty of extra space. Of note - it is in the basement of Jennifer's family home. For people who want a standalone space - this isn't it. We did hear the family above, doing family things. It didn't bother us, but it might disturb others who want complete quiet or want to sleep in late. Amenities - Jennifer provided everything we needed; including an iron when I requested it. She personally brought it and a full-size ironing board down to us. The shower in the guest bath is HUGE. We were able to watch live TV, however if you want to stream Netflix, Hulu, Max, etc., you will need to use your own login. Just remember to logout after! Host - Jennifer was very prompt and friendly. Her instructions to get in were easy to follow and she requested very little of us upon check out. Would absolutely stay here again!!!!

Jennifer's place was exactly what we needed. Two bedrooms and a kitchen with everything we wanted. Jennifer responded quickly and I would gladly stay here again. She also gave us a discount for the 7 day rental. I was able to walk in the park reserve, right next to their home, and very beautiful. Thanks again!

My stay at this address was one to remember. This basement apartment is much larger than one would ever expect. Fully refinished and kitchen equipped. Has a warm yet modern charm. Showers and beds were great. The owner was very responsive to messages and texts for check-in/out procedures. No issues, mechanical or otherwise. We didn’t actually take advantage of everything there, as most of our stay was outside, moving our son into college in Boston - but at the end of a long day, it was always nice coming back to this apartment.

Very clean and friendly.

Very comfortable for 4 people. Very clean. Plan to bring extra towels if you need more then one for a week. An iron would be helpful. Family lives upstairs as stated by owner. Not a problem for us as we sleep with sound machine but could be a problem for a light sleeper if you go to bed early. Close to the city. We enjoyed our stay.

My husband, sister, brother-in-law and I came to town for a concert, fishing, and family time. The accommodations were excellent. The rental was very clean, the beds extremely comfortable, it had a very comfortable common area, and it was central to all of our destinations including Gillette Stadium and Plymouth. Jennifer was very helpful and welcoming. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

The property is in a great location for exploring all that Boston has to offer. Accommodations were nicely equipped, and very up-to-date. Host was very accessible.

20 minutes from Boston in a quiet neighborhood. BEAUTIFUL space. Very comfortable and accommodating. We had most everything we needed and enjoyed the cozy space while we were there. We also took advantage a beautiful nature walk right out the back yard. Lovely host family who were very attentive, responsive, and accommodating to our needs and circumstances. Older home and sound carries with kiddos up stairs but they were respectful of our time while we were there. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The host is very accommodating. Family also lives in the property upstairs. The property is beautiful and has a nice walking path to the pond with various wildlife. Great for a morning or evening stroll. Well located to downtown Boston and other attractions in eastern Massachusetts. Both bedrooms have a coded lock. It is located underground, so can be rather cold. However, heaters and a fireplace are available.

This property was fantastic and had so much room. The hosts thought of everything and there was nothing missing from the experience. Loved this beautiful space! Would most definitely book again.

This property was the perfect place for our spring break trip to learn about our country’s history. It was very close to all of the major interstates that took us to the various towns that we wanted to see but was far enough away from Boston proper that we didn’t feel the crowds that make up that city. The property was so clean and beautifully redone. The two bedrooms and bathrooms were far enough away from each other that it felt very private. The host, Jennifer, was extremely easy to communicate with and she was quick to answer any questions we had. She checked on us often and made sure that we had everything that we needed. This property was a real find and we enjoyed our time there very much!

Traveled to Boston to exhibit a trade show. Booked this place for the entire week for myself and a few team members. Jennifer was very disturbing during the stay. As it says in the description the family lives upstairs and you can hear them in the mornings. It wasn’t a huge deal to us since we were here on business anyways and we were also getting ready for the day but if you’re here for vacation I wouldn’t stay here. Most importantly though, as I mentioned we stayed all week and were only given one towel a piece and was told that if we wanted more than it was an extra. On one of our last days, Jennifer assumed that we were already gone for the day so she allowed herself to come in without warning us. Typed in the code to the bedroom and attempted to enter the master bedroom while my wife and I were in there unclothed. Extremely disrespectful to intrude our privacy like that. Sadly because of our interaction with Jennifer, I am leaving a 1 star review. Please beware that she informed me that she comes downstairs daily to check the lights, trash and water the plants. So, your privacy will be invaded.

Property was impressive, with topnotch appliances, newly refurbished, nice space. Customer service was great too. Only issue was the electronic keypad to the main door and each bedroom...got quite annoying when wifi connection was slow, especially as the unit is in the basement.
