My sister and I loved our stay at this cute house. It was perfect for our weekend in Sarasota. The house was on a super quiet street. It had a nice screened porch for relaxing. It was SO much nicer than staying in a hotel! Judy, the host, was so friendly and nice. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Great property!

My husband and I spent five weeks here with our two French Bulldogs. When we arrived the check in was seamless. The house was exactly as pictured, spotless and the everything was there for us. The only thing we needed to do was to buy food! The pups loved the fenced in yard and we loved lounging in the screened patio in the evening when the bugs started biting. The home is conveniently located to shopping, restaurants and the beaches are only 15-20 minutes away. Probably a shorter drive when it isn’t spring break. Jules, our host was super attentive if we needed anything at all. If I could have changed anything I would have loved a little more storage in the second bathroom for all my things but that is such a small inconvenience. The washer and dryer and all the appliances worked great as did the outdoor grill!! We loved walking the dogs in the evening through the tree filled neighborhood. You will love this home and host. Highly recommend!

This adorable home had the best homeowner and is on a quiet little street. We especially enjoyed the convenient location to the wide variety of things we did in Sarasota and the area.

We totally enjoyed our stay at this Southgate house. It was the perfect location to our family & we used the bikes provided to ride to their homes along the Legacy Trail & to Siesta Beach & to the bay front for a downtown lunch. Judy was a perfect hostess. She welcomed our doggies and they enjoyed the big fenced back & cool terrazzo floors. We’ll come again.

Great place and our host was lovely. There were extra towels, blankets, and pillows as well as some basic household items to make a longer stay clean and comfortable. Our host warned us the tv was slow to turn on but I think it needs replacing because even changing channels took more than a few minutes. Anyway all in all it was a great stay.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful clean comfortable home. My Labrador Zeus loved the yard outside! Clean, close to beach, parks, restaurants and other convenience. Loved walking in the neighborhood filled with trees and a few playful squirrels 🐿 Will definitely return again!

The property has been recently renovated and located in a quiet neighborhood. It's location is close to shopping, dining and of course the beach. The property owner and manager are very responsive to guest needs which is very important for an enjoyable experience. We will definitely return!

Amazing! The house itself was an experience. Total perfection. I have stayed and many places but this is my favorite. The owner was very kind and available if anything was needed. Will definitely rent again. Rate it 100!

This home in Sarasota served as a nice vacation rental that was close to the nearby beaches and downtown area. The place was nicely decorated in a tasteful beach theme and included a good number of places to sleep. Although it was clean and the kitchen was well stocked, there were things here and there that could use some maintenance. The TV had to be turned on and off each time due to some kind of input issue and the main lock for the sliding glass door did not work although there was a lock up top (slightly concerning for 3 women on vacation alone). Overall though we enjoyed the stay there and all of the nice restaurants nearby.

Super great location, very centralized to stores and restaurants and a short drive to multiple beaches our favorite was coquina beach.

1. Too many breakable items. Felt like a museum not a fun beach house. 2. Drains clogged with hair, fingernails and moss. Was standing in a puddle of water for some of my shower. 3. Need more fans in outside areas. 4. Ants all over counters and trashcans constantly. 5. Shower heads in both showers were awful, water came out in a trickle. 6. House need curtains on sliding glass door and other bedrooms, I came on vacation to sleep in not rise at 6am with the sun. 7. No vaccum or mop in the entire house. 8. Need more TVs besides the one in the living room especially if multiple people want to watch different things at night. 9. Yard should be sprayed for mosquitos more often. 10. Be careful of the chandelier in the bathroom it's so low you'll hit your head. I'm 5'5 for reference. 11. Need rugs to step out on after shower instead of having to use towels which causes more laundry. Thats not what a vacation is about doing laundry. 12. Provide renters with propane in the tanks not just empty tanks. 13. Usable beach chairs. The ones that were not really usable just rusted and funky. 14. Owner should let renters know a lawn crew would out there to mow. 15. Creepy neighbor or possible owner watering outside plants on day of arrival and of departure. 16. Make more room in the bathroom with the washer/dryer by moving the sink it's too close to the shower. 17. House looks like the owner just took things from their house they didnt want anymore for decor and kitchen products. 18. Kitchen counter really should be replaced the wood was stained and just nasty. 19. Beds were listed as queen, they were full size in both rooms. 20. More communication from owner would be nice besides phone call for access code. I didnt hear anything from the owner the whole stay. Not that I expect to hear anything or wanted to but something wouldve been nice. 21. Coasters for drinks are needed badly. 22. Windows were open we we arrived, we didnt realize that until it was bedtime no wonder the house wasn't cooling faster and filled with mosquitos. 23. Next time I'll be staying staying at a hotel for sure. 25. Only possible note was that the location was good close to loads of things.

Perfect for dog owners and beach-goers, Southgate is a charming cottage with key modern upgrades. We loved having the fenced-in backyard for our dogs to run around and the big kitchen and grill for our BBQ night! Worth noting that whoever sleeps in the day bed must love bright, sunny mornings as the light streams in from the backyard pretty early and the water pressure in the master shower is very light. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and Judy was incredibly communicative and accommodating as a host!

Great location and quiet neighborhood (literally close to everything Sarasota has to offer)! Kitchen was fully stocked. Owner communicated throughout entire process and promptly addressed all needs. This stay brought us good luck as we've been looking to relocate to this wonderful city; we found a property and are closing next month!

The house is comfortable, cozy and impeccable! Yudy, its owner, is very kind and always ready to help and make the stay of her guests a pleasant moment. We will definitely return !!!
