This is second year we have celebrated Thanksgiving at Lazy Day Cabin. It’s so cozy and stocked. The host is amazing. We will definitely be back

Very nice place. We really enjoyed our stay, will go back. Very clean, very accommodating. Close to all of the good hiking trails. Our Lab loved it, enjoyed the cows in the pasture north of us. 😊

We loved our 3 nights at the cabin. It was so clean and so furnished, everything we could want or need was there. We did not need the loft, but it looked so nice! The main bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was so well stocked. We loved the front screen in porch (where the dogs sat with us every morning while we drank our coffee as sun rose). We also ate dinner every evening on the back patio, that was very nice. And we were surprised no mosquitos! We did not get to fish as the marina was closed and we were planning on buying live bait there. Google said the town of Brookville had a bait shop, but they had none. But we still enjoyed ourselves, walking around the trails by the lake, walking around the neighborhood near the cabin, going to Marquette (highly recommend Piper's Grocery!) for ice cream sodas and strolling the park, and my husband loved the motorcycle museum! We went and walked around Coronado Castle and went to explore the town of Lindsborg, but it started to rain so didn't get to see as much of this cute town as we would have liked. Communication with Lori was great! We were very happy with everything. It is not always easy to find a place that will take 2 dogs, even small quiet ones like mine, but everything there was very dog friendly. I hope we get a chance to come back. We have stayed at many rentals all over, and this one is definitely one of our favorites! Oh, be sure and visit the Mushroom Rock Park, it is fun to see!

Wonderful home! So clean and organized. The little details that Lori has are so sweet. Great host!! The home is well stocked with everything you need and more. The decor is very welcoming. We took 2 dogs with our girl trip. The dogs had so much fun they slept for a day after getting home. Can’t wait to go back!

Our stay was amazing! We were torn between taking in what the area has to offer or simply enjoying this magnificent cabin! We loved every minute of our time at the Lazy Days Cabin!

The place was great. The hosts thought f everything and every amenity was great. I wanna go back soon. Very peaceful. The bed was comfy.

Clean, well organized, modern cabin with all the amenities! We loved all the extra features this cabin offered and it turned out to be a convenient location for a variety of sites we wanted to visit in the area. Owners are very responsive and take great care of their property. I'd book it again without hesitation.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful cabin! This location is the perfect spot on Kanopolis Lake with amenities that are even nicer in person. The cabin was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated with plenty of comforts of home. Our host even left all the ingredients for s'mores to enjoy the firepit. We also enjoyed the covered patio for listening to the evening storms. Book it before I do... we're already thinking of a return trip!!

Adorable cabin inside and out. Great outdoor space with all the necessities. Short distance from the lake, swimming area, parks, and trails. The host was great and quick to respond to any/all questions.

It was the best getaway from home. The property was very clean and had instructions on what do to on property during the stay. The property managers communicated very well before our stay and and answered our questions. The even provided the items for smores . Made us very welcomed and it a ver peaceful neighborhood near the lake. The property had everything we needed except you were responsible for the food items. We will stay here again. And they even allowed our small dog with a small fee. The dog enjoyed it too and got to talk to the cows next to our property in the pasture. Thanks again for the get away.

My wife and I had a very nice 3 - day weekend at Lazy Days Cabin. I really liked the look and feel of the cabin. My wife's brother and his wife live in Lindsborg and they came over one evening after the four of us had dinner at a restaurant in Little River, KS. We all had a very nice time relaxing and chatting in the screened in porch area while we watched the moon rise. I would definitely recommend Lazy Days Cabin.

Not a detail was left out. This cabin was amazing! It was relaxing. Well designed and beautiful. The lake was just around the corner. Hiking trails, great ambience.

Really enjoyed unique attributes like metal spiral staircase leading to loft and candles that light up with a remote. Had attractive, comfortable furnishings that were kept stain-free. Most of all truly loved that we could enjoy our final vacation hours and Not spend it cleaning the house! Most VRBO owners ask for all manner of items to be cleaned that take up the last two hours of your stay (and make you wonder exactly what the cleaning fee is used for...) But this owner wasn't like this!--She asked for reasonable things to be done and we had the best stay ever all the way up until time to leave.

The place was great! The weather not so much. Overcast and windy! I will return!!!

Not sure I want to do this as I would like to keep this place a secret….but my goodness, this place has it all. The meticulous attention to detail is evident throughout. This is the most pet friendly place we have ever stayed. Definitely would consider staying again!

This was a very nice place to stay by the lake. The cabin was very clean and looked brand new! We all really enjoyed this cabin and the communication from the landlords. We will definately stay here again!!

My husband and I decided to take a little weekend getawayfor our 6 year anniversary. We didn't want to travel too far but wanted something quiet and relaxing. When we found this place online, we booked it right away. It was perfect!! Everything was clean, organized, and beautifully decorated. You could tell that the hosts put a lot of thought into creating a beautiful and comfortable place to unwind. It was very accommodating!! We enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the evening and making smores. The screened in porch provided a peaceful way start to the day, sitting on the porch swing, sipping coffee with the early morning sun and cooler morning air. It was exactly what we needed to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life with work and 3 kids. We will definitely stay there again!!

Beautiful cabin close to everywhere we wanted to visit!

We stayed at this lovely property when we were in the area for a family birthday celebration. Our only regret is that we didn't have more time to spend at the cabin. It was outfitted perfectly... cozy and lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were soft and fluffy. We did not have time to cook but the kitchen was very nice and well equipped. Lori was great to work with. I hope we can make a return visit when we have more time to enjoy this delightful cabin. I would definitely recommend!!

We have always wanted to explore Kanapolis Lake, and this property allowed us to do just that! The cabin had EVERYTHING you could need while on vacation. We have never stayed somewhere so well stocked. The cabin was perfect for my husband and me, along with our three children. It was clean and very comfortable. Things were so well organized and placed. We needed to add a day, and Lisa was quick to respond and accommodate. We truly couldn't have asked for a better stay or experience!

This cabin was exactly what we needed to slow down and getaway. Lori had everything we needed! It is SOOOO peaceful and beautiful out there! We would love to do this again!

As a business traveler, I have the opportunity to stay in many vrbo properties and hotels. I brought my children along on this particular trip to spend much needed time with them. I couldn't be more pleased with the home and thoughtfulness of Lori, the property owner. Lori left a hand written note and smores makings for our visit. That extra touch was so thoughtful. The home was charming, comfortable, well decorated and within walking distance to the lake. If I could give 10 stars I would!

The cabin was very accessible throughout from the front kitchen to the patio in the back. There was great attention to detail not just in the accomodations but also the furnishings and decor. It's an ideal location being near the lake, hiking trails, and other parks. Very relaxing and peaceful from just winding down from a long hike to sitting on the bench swing in the screened-in front porch. Lori was a great host preparing for our arrival responding quickly to any of our messages. We have stayed in many rental homes and cabins around the country and we feel this is one of our top places we have been so far and would definitely come back to stay again.
