We spent a week here and had a wonderful time. The house is big, but was welcoming and cozy at the same time. Comfortable couches and bed. Kitchen was well-stocked and we loved the counter seating. The outside/pool area was fabulous- I could stay on the lounge float for the rest of my days. Very easy access to the beach and to the bike trail. Great house for dogs too. Nice yard with plenty of room for zoomies. Owners were so kind and helpful. Will definitely stay here again!!!

We had a great stay! There was plenty of room for our family of 5 and our dog. We loved the private backyard and the pool. We didn’t utilize the separate pool house area, but it looked nice. We had everything we needed during our stay. The best part was the short walk on a private path to the beach!! We would definitely book again!!

My nana is in a wheelchair and there was 8 of us so it was hard trying to find a handicap house where she could get around in her wheelchair and stay with us but this place was amazing & went beyond our expectations we had the best time & it was amazing the pool is awesome the house is awesome & the walk to the beach is so easy took us about 5 mins if that. Would 100% stay here again!

This is the perfect home to enjoy time with your family. The separate room, off the pool, provided a private space for the 20 somethings. The owner was available immediately when I needed to ask him a question. This house was absolutely perfect for our group. We had a wonderful time. Oh yea, they had chairs, wagons, umbrellas, etc... They made enjoying the beach easy.

We loved our stay. The house is just as pictured. Plenty of room for the 6 of us and our dog. Very close to the beach and a short bike ride to Coligny. We will be back next year.

The shower on the main floor was a problem because the water overflowed onto the floor. Maybe a longer shower curtain would help. We did not have enough dining seating for 12 people. The house advertises it sleeps 14. Overall we really enjoyed the house and the location was great!

Great location on private path to the beach. Furnished beautifully and with everything we needed. Pool toys, beach chairs and cart and cooler. Second refrigerator in the garage was a great touch. Pool was awesome. Plenty of room for privacy as well as family gathering space. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a party of 8 staying at the property, the house and pool area were perfect with a 2 minute walk to the beach. The house was very comfortable, furnished and equipped well, we will be back at this property, which is highly recommended.

This house was lovely, it also includes a bunk house. The owners were kind and easy to communicate with. Our family enjoyed the stay. I would suggest a a few extra blankets and maybe updated skillet pans, but still give it a thumbs up 👍

This lovely property is in a perfect spot on South Forest Beach just outside Seapines. It is a quick 3 min walk along a fairly private wooded trail to the beach. The home layout worked well for our 2 families. Pool is great and feels very private. Would rate 4.5 stars if that was an option. Issues with kitchen and bathroom lighting and not very well equipped for cooking (pots, pans, serving utensils, and no pot holders, just 2 kitchen towels) kept it from 5 star overall rating. Bring kitchen garbage bags, hand soap, TP, PT, tissues, all cooking seasonings, etc. We accommodated easily enough- store is close by. Handicap accessible shower in first floor is great but a lot water flows onto bathroom floor when in use. Shower in guest house is tiny. Plenty of beach chairs, toys and umbrella was great for our use. Owners are very responsive. We loved our stay and would definitely book it again!

We stayed May 20-27. We were very pleased with the house for our family of 6. It was a great location and the beach access was perfect. The only suggestions to the owners would be to update the outdoor furniture cushions and add more private curtains in the pool house. Our weather wasn’t the best and we wished we had brought some board games.

The owners were so awesome to work with and great communication the entire time. We couldn't have asked for a better place for my family to be able to vacation with all our wheelchair accessibility needs like roll in shower, wide doorways; close to the beach, pool in back yard and everything was supplied! They even went further to give names and numbers to rent a beach wheelchair and other medical equipment. So grateful for this wonderul place!

We had a great stay and loved the short 5 minute walk to the beach. Our dog enjoyed the fully fenced yard. There were plenty of towels and the beds were comfortable. The grill was pretty clean for a rental. The stairs are carpeted which was nice (especially for our dog) but it could stand to be cleaned. We have no complaints though, just that suggestion. We were very satisfied with the house and we would definitely stay again.

We were renovating a house just inside Sea Pines and this house is right outside the gate, which gave us quick and easy access to our project. Access to the beach walk is right off the pool deck and a nice walk to the beach. The house was comfortable and convenient for us, but could use a living room furniture upgrade soon. The beds were comfortable and there is plenty of closet space. The owner was very responsive to any of our questions!

We were comfortable in this lovely beach house. Sheets, towels, kitchen items, beach chairs/games etc. It felt like home.The location is convenient to the beach and shopping. We were planning to gather in the common area by the fire to open gifts. It's unfortunate that the fireplace wasn't working as the temperatures dipped into the 20s and 30s. Later in the week it got warmer. So we decided to grill out. However, the grill was rusted and not in working order. We were able to clean it and cook on it eventually. The hosts seem friendly and were quick to respond. A hot tub would be a wonderful addition to this property. We would stay here again.

We had a great time! The owners were friendly and helpful. The proximity to beach was great for morning walks. The provided beach cart and chairs were much appreciated. Great area for biking. Very close to Van Der Meer tennis academy for tennis players!

Thank you for providing a wonderful home for our HHI vacation. The house was clean, fully equipped kitchen, lots of beach chairs/umbrellas, and plenty of towels for guests. Excellent location to the beach, Coligny, and Sea Pines. The pool house serves as the 4th bedroom. Very nice, great place to escape for some quiet time. Would recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 117 S Forest Beach. The house was super clean and very well equipped. Beach gear was new and we should have left ours at home. The owners were quick to reply with any inquiries about the property and the area. We can’t wait to come back and rent the home again.

As I rely heavily on reviews and this house was new to the market, wanted to be sure to review for others. This house is very close to the beach and right next to an access point. I measured .2 miles from the back yard to the waters edge at low tide. Yes, it is on a busy road (S. Forrest), but it's in the 2-lane section and overall road noise wasn't that bad. House is nice and was clean when we arrived. The bedroom/bathroom layout is....quirky. If you actually filled all the beds, it would be a bathroom situation. Our group was only 5 and it worked fine. There are 2.5 baths in main house. The cabana serves as one of the bedrooms/bathrooms which was nice for privacy, but prevents the full "group house" vibe if that's what you want. The kitchen was well-stocked for us, and we did a lot of in-home cooking. Master suite could use an update - bathroom definitely shows its age, but it WORKS, and who's on a beach vacation for the bathroom? The carpeting up here should probably be ripped out at some point and replaced with new and/or tile, BUT...the bed in this room is quite comfortable. The pool is a bit small and not deep - more of a cool-off zone than a swimming pool for adults, but a GREAT pool for kiddos! Owners were super attentive to us when we needed anything. Garage is well stocked with items like chairs/beach umbrellas, etc. I didn't see any beach towels - not a problem for us, we brought some, but should be added unless I missed them (totally possible). Overall would strongly recommend this place if the layout/bathrooms will work for your group.
