Cozy home with lots of room for all family members.

The home had decent inside and outside seating for friends/family gatherings, however, the space might not be set up for 7 or 8 people- we were a party of 7 and the house can comfortably fit 5 people. We are an outdoorsy and easygoing bunch of people, overall we enjoyed our time and made the best of it, but would not stay at this home again. The house was not intentionally thought through for a rental property- thrown together, and random household junk was everywhere. We should have read the reviews of the home more carefully, as other people had similar reviews and experiences as us. The water pressure was horrible, could not wash dishes and take a shower upstairs at the same time. The home should not be marketed for 8 people, due to the water pressure issue, it cannot support that amount of people, the house comfortably would fit 5 people. The house should not market decks outside the bedrooms, because there was odd misplaced furniture on the decks that we could not use. We spent the majority of our time on the lakes in the region, which was fun, however, the lakes in close proximity were PRIVATE and we were not given a pass for the lakes closest to us. There were very few house instructions and we were given no recommendations for local things to do, as most rental properties provide in a binder or leave on the table for suggestions- "locals guide to the region." If you have never been to the area before, we would recommend you think twice before going to the Poconos or staying at this home.

We chose this house to be close to family that live nearby. For being 100 years old, the home was very solid and in great condition. The setup of the house was perfect for our long weekend getaway that included 8 adults. The downstairs was larger than expected and had enough seating for all of us to share meals together. There was an extra bedroom upstairs that wasn’t listed in the description which was a nice surprise (full size bed). We did notice there was an issue with the water pressure and understood it is an older home using well water, however, the washing machine never filled fully and the shower wouldn’t turn on while the dishwasher was running, showers were kept to one at a time. There were a few other minor issues/suggestions that were taken up with the property manager who was responsive and helpful.

The house was very spacious and clean. The upstairs rooms were very hot at night and the front door lock was difficult to use. But otherwise it was perfect for our needs.

House was very comfortable, so was jacuzzi, had a great time using the house The only thing that bothered us was that the game room was in the garage and we thought it was part of the same house and it was too cold to go out so we didn’t use the game room otherwise the house was beautiful & very cozy

I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday stay this past weekend. The house was so warm and cozy. My family and I especially enjoyed a late-night dip in the jacuzzi. It was definitely the highlight of the trip! The beds were all super comfy and clean. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you for having us!
