Loved the layout of this house. Good size bedrooms and closet space. Living room view out to the bay was wonderful. Sitting out on the deck at sunset perfect!

We enjoyed our stay. Dauphin Island is a unique place, but it's important to note that there's not too much to do there. If you're looking for a place to just hang out on the deck and enjoy the view, then it's a great place.
The house is relatively new, which is nice, but we had a few issues. The refrigerator had some cooling issues, the ice machine didn't work, the pool wasn't very clean, the grill needs to be replaced, and there were a lot of mosquitos. The last comment is the nature of being on the island but it's worth noting. Bring plenty of bug spray. Also, the curtains don't provide much privacy at night. With all this said, the management company was responsive. They sent someone out to clean the pool and followed up when I asked questions.
Overall, we enjoyed our trip and the house. It would be even better if they could work out a few of the items mentioned.

Everything was in the home that you might need for your stay. Home was very clean. Pool does need a really good cleaning. Hot tub was perfect.

Great house for dogs (and family). Plenty of room for family and extended family (6 adults, 3 teenagers) and 3 dogs. Very peaceful area of the island.

Came for a few days to celebrate a significant family birthday. Everything was excellent and it was a great get away. Definitely stay there again.

Rented for family to stay in for daughter's college graduation. Only an hour from USA campus. Island is always great to visit when down for several days, and have used Vacasa a couple of times. Fast response from them and local site team when questions came up.
Spectacular view of bay and Gulf. Lots of space, and having heated pool and hot tub kept kids occupied. Had a few games for the kids, and had plenty of seating.
Driveway can be difficult to find (esp at night), because the driveways look about the same.
Stairs can be a lot when loading/unloading cars. Be sure to wear fitness tracker (useful for walks on the beach too).
Left private feedback for minor improvements, but we would not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks!

This bay side property has all the beauty of the wild life, natural grasses and bay beach with total access to the gulf side just across the street. The pool and hot tub were fantastic additions for our guests (cleaned and serviced weekly). Home and amenities were as advertised—clean and well-maintained. Appliances were all nicer than builder-grade often found in rentals. Because the property is maintained by a management company, you’ll find fewer personal touches you often find in private homes (e.g., leftover sun screens, beach towels, local recommendations). That said, a fantastic island location and really enjoyable property!

The rooms were much larger than we had expected which was nice for my family of eleven. Very clean and tidy. The back deck is awesome with the pool and just a short walk to the beach area. A couple of things needed repair but it’s to be expected in a rental property. Would’ve liked a few more kitchen towels. Internet seems to be an issue but that just may be the island and the property manager was quick to call someone out to check on it for us. It didn’t get much better for long during our stay but we weren’t there to be on our devices. I would say, overall, a super nice property on a really neat little island!

Location was great. Loved having bedrooms in all corners with their own bathroom. The slider doors were great to open everything up.

We had cold, dreary, rainy weather during our stay but had a great time anyway and loved the back porch and hot tub! Very nice home.

This house is beautifully decorated and furnished. It met our needs very well. We were not impressed with the area, however. Most of the end of the island where the house is located is not landscaped at all. In fact the yard and path out to the bay was not landscaped or maintained wel at all.

It was spacious. The deck was nice. On the bay side but beach access wasn’t overly difficult. Wasn’t overly clean.

We loved the access to beaches on the bay (as part of the property) and on the Gulf (across the street). The floorpan works well, with an open living area and 4 bedrooms (two on each side of the living area). The kitchen was functional and well equipped.

If someone is planning a trip to Dauphin Island, please understand that there is very little to see and eat on the island.
