This house's layout is perfect. All the rooms are oriented toward the lake, which is exactly what one looks for when renting a lake-house! The view was even better than the picture and the atmosphere was just so peaceful. The hosts were so helpful and made everything right when we ran into a snag with the house. They thought of so many things - we never felt like our plans were spoiled by the absence of any essential. My sisters and I all agree - highly recommend!

We had a wonderful family trip over a weekend at Lake Oconee, bringing together 2 families with young children and 1 set of grandparent. House was beautiful, right on the water with an excellent view, and was well equipped. Homeowners kept communication open throughout the weekend. Lots of great memories were made at the home!

Wow, what an amazing lake home! The owners have gone above and beyond to provide the best experience for all their guests! They thought of everything, from the well-stocked kitchen and comfy beds to all the lake toys outdoors, there's something for all ages! The house is very nice with a great layout. Views of the lake are wonderful. Great spot on the lake. Excellent for swimming and boating. Plenty of games and good outdoor space for gathering. We enjoyed the screened porch. I definitely recommend this place for a family vacation or short getaway. Hosts are very nice and good communicators.

We spent about a week on the lake. We had a great time. Plenty of lake toys, easy internet access and lots of room. Very minimal downside to the property. Three things we would recommend is that the bunk room have doors on it (best tv in the house is down stairs and if there are multiple families that was our hangout spot. It made it hard for kids to get to sleep). Second thing is just adding that the grill is connected to the house hook up (we are from Florida and very few houses run on gas). With that said the owners were very responsive and got back to us right away. Last thing would be is to raise the price slightly and just include the hot tub for everyone. Big things from our trip that were made by the house were the tubes, and the Lilly pad. We spent a lot of time of the Lilly pad. The house also has a great upstairs outdoor area. We loved this area to watch the sunrise over the lake. The back yard was amazing and very well kept. We played bags on the lawn just about every day. There is a large dining room table and we spent almost every night having a group family dinner. Another big perk was the master bathtub. Easy to use, and the big perk was the relaxing. Thanks for the stay!

We had a great stay over Memorial Day. House is great- very clean. Lake view is pretty and very easy access down to the dock. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Hosts very responsive- highly recommend !

Beautiful home in a peaceful and serene setting. The homeowner provided tremendous support for us as we were dealing with a family emergency. and related scheduling complexities.

We were lucky to pick this lovely lake home for our recent stay. It is even better than the pictures! The owners were responsive, kind, and very prompt in their interactions, from getting the home ready on short notice to suggesting nearby restaurants. We loved it so much, we extended our stay a few days. We will absolutely stay here again, and I've already recommended it to others. Highly recommend!! Exceeded our expectations!! We had 11 total at the property including 6 adults and 5 children. The property was as advertised - clean, on the lake, safe and with great amenities. Our kids loved the paddle board, floats, and canoe. The life jacket selection worked for the whole family as well. The spacious up stairs and great decks allowed room for the family to spread out. The property was close to town for some quick trips when needed. The owner was quick to respond with any questions and recommendations. Great time had by all and would visit the property again.

Our family of four found this newly listed lake house to be the perfect spot for spending a week together! The house is absolutely beautiful complete with spectacular views!! It is fully equipped with everything you would need and is located on a great part of the lake close to all the areas shopping and dining. We loved that they included so many extras like kayaks and paddle boards! Don’t forget to partake in a campfire, which is also in a great spot for enjoying the gorgeous sunsets! Our girls favorite reading nook was in the hanging chairs on the upper deck complete with fairy lights! Communication with the owners was easy and they were quick to respond. If you are looking for the perfect lake getaway, stop searching… this is it! Thank you again for a wonderful family vacation!

The Myers family provided all the comforts of home plus all the features you would want on a family vacation at the lake. From the s’mores ingredients to the numerous lake toys, they thought of everything. Our two families enjoyed the comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and beautiful screened in porch. The house was clean and comfortable. Yard is beautifully manicured and dock is clean and and an umbrella is provided so you can enjoy the dock while others enjoy the water. We were very excited when we found out we were the first people to rent this house! Carl and Rachel were the perfect hosts, they were friendly, quick to respond when we booked or had questions and their attention to detail at the home was amazing! Being the first renter, I am going to give a very detailed and thorough review for future renters! The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated & stocked with all the necessities, including: laundry detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, make up wipes, toilet paper, Q-tips, cotton swabs, Lysol wipes, garbage bags, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, sponges, paper towels, napkins, cell phone chargers, plenty of bath towels and beach towels for outdoors, etc… The kitchen was beautiful and fully stocked with everything we needed: pots and pans, cutting boards, knives, cooking utensils, food storage container, wine/bottle openers, plenty of plates, glasses and silverware, etc….The appliances were stainless steel and worked perfectly. We aren’t coffee or tea drinkers, but if you are, they provided everything needed. The beds and pillows were super comfortable and we never ran out of hot water in the shower. 2 car garage was nice to have. For outdoor fun, they provided two kayaks, one paddle-board, Life vests, fishing poles, tackle box, a towable tube along with a booster ball, water float, air compressor and my favorite, a huge lily pad. I really enjoyed that! We tied it to the dock, then soaked up some rays with out worrying about floating away and when we got hot, we would either just jump into the lake or splash lake water on us! We rented a boat and two JetSki‘s from H2O Adventures, for the week, the dock was able to accommodate those! We did a lot of fishing off of the dock, caught a lot of small size catfish. We also really enjoyed sitting in the screened in patio, not worrying about pesky insects, taking in the views of the lake and watching and listening to all the birds that came to the bird feeders.We also enjoyed watching the Osprey family in the huge nest close to the dock. All eight of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home and beautiful property! Living the lake life for a week was awesome, was hard to leave and go back to reality! If we’re able to come back next year, we will definitely stay here again! This is the perfect lake house on Lake Oconee!!! Oh and be sure to take pics with the Instax camera they provided for guestbook!
