The Cane Creek Retreat was a very nice comfortable home and close to all we wanted to see snd do. Highly recommend

I was initially hesitant because the furnishings make the property look slightly dated and the booking process was different than what I’ve experienced with other rentals, but we ended up being extremely happy with the upkeep and cleanliness of the property. The furniture and appliances are in excellent condition. Most important to me, being a neat freak, was the exceptional cleanliness, even with the bedding and towels. There is tons of space, and the outdoor area is great. As others have said, there is road noise since the house is right on a rural highway, but it didn’t impact us much because it’s only minimal at night and we didn’t hang out outside. I’m sure some cheap earplugs could help any sensitive sleepers. The Jack and Jill bathroom connects the bedroom with the king bed, but that setup was fine for us. The other bathroom is a good size and modern with exceptional storage space. The house was extremely well-stocked. The place worked very well for our family, with kids and a grandmother, and we would definitely stay here again!

We have been coming to the Asheville area for several years to visit family and friends. This house was a great location. The creek in the back kept 3 kids happy- 10, 7, 7. Spacious, clean, wonderful beds and linens. I think this house may move to the top of our list. Thanks for a great place to stay!

The house was great. Kitchen and bathrooms very well stocked. We had everything we needed and more. Comfy beds and luxurious towels. Very clean. The management team answered several questions we had right away. The only issue was traffic noise. This house is located very close to a four lane highway. Closer than the pictures show. You can hear traffic inside the house and on back porch and in backyard. Traffic decreases between 11pm and 6am, so we didn’t have trouble sleeping, but be ready to wake up by 6-6:30am when trucks start going by, especially if you’re sleeping in one of the 2 front bedrooms. No quiet mornings on the back porch with coffee listening to the sound of the creek, unless you’re sitting there before 6am. If that doesn’t bother you, this house has everything you need and the management company is very helpful.

While some rental pictures may not show 'everything', what you see is what you get with this property. Very clean and nicely decorated. Would definitely consider staying there again if back in the area.

Really enjoyed this house setup, indoors and outdoors. Living rooms,,sun room, dining areas, 4 bedrooms. All spacious. Very relaxing setting. Right on highway but never would know it from back side of house

We really enjoyed our stay. One of the cleanest places we have rented before. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of parking. Could use more towels, but it wasn't a big deal having laundry on-site.

This was the overall nicest and cleanest rental we have ever stayed at. Well laid out for a big family, plenty of space to spread out inside plus great outdoor spaces. It is located on a major highway and the road noise is loud at night. Overall a wonderful place to stay for a family vacation.
