Wonderful property! Very comfortable and Lila has a lot of amazing touches to make your stay extremely comfortable. Fridge with cold water, juices and condiments were a nice surprise. What really set it apart for us was the hand crafted soap in the shower, very nice upgraded hand soap for the bathroom sink and the aroma from the diffuser in the sleeping area was very pleasant when we first arrived. We constantly travel with a night light to move about our stays at night and this stay we didn't need it, as the diffuser had a night light. Small thing, but a nice touch. This unit has a lot of small touches that you will notice right away that make this rental stand out. I.e Bath salts for the soaker bath provided, what a nice “extra.” Stayed 4 days. Highly recommend!

The room was beautiful and the decor made you feel right at home. Lila was gracious and brought over fresh fruit and gave us tips on where to go. We loved the location, it was a little distance from Hilo but away from the crowds which made it a quiet and quite romantic. Check in was easy, no hassle, her cat named True was always welcoming and so friendly when we arrived back for the day. Would definitely recommend this and hopefully we'll be back again next year. Perfect host.

An incredibly comfortable bed, peaceful surroundings and lovely host made our stay the perfect vacation. The location was great and the perfect launching location for our daily wanderings. We were greeted with fresh fruit and flowers which made us feel welcomed.

Lila was super hospitable and made our experience wonderful! She gave us some good suggestions for while we were in town. A lot of thought was put into the amenities and it made our stay delightful.

The room and bath were exceptionally clean! The host had some very nice personal touches to make the place fun. We were given a plate of fruit unique to the area which was fun to eat. The host communicated very well and you can tell she puts a lot of effort into offering a great place to stay. This place works great for 1-2 people. However, the listing said it sleeps four guests. We had three in our party. My daughter who is quite petite (5'4, 115 lbs) slept on the red couch. It isn't a pull out bed. Its just a small sofa not designed to be a bed. It wasn't comfortable for her. I don't recommend this for more than 2 guests.

I was able to check in early. Food/Activity recommendations were great. Amazing communication response time. Great place to stay, I’ll be back.

We loved our stay here! Lila, the host went above and beyond with putting thought into all the details around the VRBO from providing things like a fridge, toaster oven, microwave, bathroom essentials, beach towels, and an umbrella to beautiful details like fresh flowers, plants, candle lights for ambiance, board games, bath salts, snacks, and so much more! The location was great. Just a short drive to Hilo and in a beautiful neighborhood with so much greenery. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, and the soaking tub was an awesome touch! Lila was always happy to help with questions and recommendations. We will definitely stay here when we visit Hilo again! Thank you!
