Wonderful family trip in this great location with lots of space

The house was very clean, comfortable and modern. It had everything we needed for our stay. Location was close to the beach, and places to eat. Safety was a concern due to the homeless population wondering right by the house, but nobody actually bothered us. Parking was a chore, but doable.

This home has everything you need for an awesome beach getaway in Los Angeles. It's located between Venice and Santa Monica, which makes it minutes away to great restaurants and all sorts of leisure activities. Will definitely stay here with the family again.

The property was well cared for, it had ample towels (beach and bath), washer dryer came in very handy. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Venice Beach.

There were only two things stopping me from giving it a 5 star 1) it lacks a/c but with the cooler nights and the fans we were okay and 2) the parking was tight, right up against the house. The house was totally modern, spacious, great kitchen and surprise, surprise, despite what we had heard of the homeless situation in LA and Venice Beach this is a very tucked away lane street with little pedestrian or vehicular traffic. I was with two young teens (my granddaughters) and always felt safe. The best reference I can give - I would rebook this home the next time in LA. The outside is plain Jane but the inside is just great.

Une location parfaite pour notre famille de cinq. Située toute proche de venice beach, nous avons pu alterner entre plages et découverte de LA. Grand espace de vie, chambre parentale top. Un emplacement pour se garer (voiture pas trop grande toutefois à avoir, nous étions en SUV Kia. Manque juste un petit bout de terrain ou une petite terrasse. Mais pour nos 4 jours passés là bas, pas indispensable.

Location was the best! Missing amenities you usually expect in a rental like laundry & dish detergent, toilet paper, salt & pepper.

We enjoyed our stay in this home. It was truly super close to the beach and many fantastic Venice restaurants. We loved walking from the house to the Santa Monica Pier. We also easily drove from there to Universal Studios for a day. When we were too tired at night to go out to eat, there were so many options for takeout or delivery. The kitchen has everything you need, and the washer/dryer is great (although needs a deep cleaning). The parking spot is very micro (as described), and it was challenging to find street parking for our second car. It's sad that there are so many unhoused people camping out everywhere you look in the neighborhood. I wish there was more social support for this community. Still, we would consider staying at this home again.

This little home was a great place to stay close to Venice Beach. The house has everything you need. Lots of great food options, easy walk to the beach. You can walk 1.5 miles to Santa Monica pier as well. Easy to get around LA from there, such as Universal Studios, etc. If you have more than one car, or your car is not very compact, parking is a challenge. There are also loads of unhoused people setting up camp all around, but that’s to be expected in the area.

This was a great stay! The bungalow style house was in fantastic condition, spotless and in an ideal location just one block from the beach. It is located just on the eastern edge of Venice beach and beginning of Santa Monica. Coffee shops and great food are just two blocks north -easy walking distance to the infamous Rose Cafe among other great eateries.

The location of this vrbo was incredible- so close to many restaurants and shopping. The ease to find the vrbo and cleanliness give this spot a 5 star rating!

Close to beach but parts of the surrounding neighborhood a bit sketchy.

Property was great and it was very close to the beach and other amenities. We didn’t bother renting a car and instead chose to use lyft to get around. There are tons of pay-as-you-go scooters and bikes available to get around the hood, or even over to Santa Monica. They are pretty much anywhere you look. The scooters don’t work on the beach path. The only downside is that there were many homeless people in the immediate vicinity, I didn’t feel threatened at any point, but it took a little getting used to. That’s pretty much the entire LA area so it’s not anything to do with this property, it’s just a thing to be aware of if you’re coming to LA. The other thing to note is that it’s a short ride to the Santa Monica Subway stop, which we found to be the fastest (and cheapest) way to get downtown. It’s not a pleasant as being in a car, but if you hate sitting in traffic - it’s the way to go.

The house was clean, comfortable and close to the beach, but I am a "suburbs girl" and had a hard time with the compact living of the neighborhood. There is zero outdoor yard space and the houses are right on top of each other. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towel and linens. If you plan to cook, the kitchen is minimally equipped. The parking space is very small and you have to hop the curb to access it. The property management team is very responsive and easy to work with.

My wife, sister, brother-in-law, and niece stayed at this property while we were in town for a wedding. The property was exactly as advertised - clean and comfortable for all of us. The parking spot was tight, but I was able to maneuver a mid-sized SUV into it. Additional parking in the neighborhood was hard to come by (we got a parking ticket). The check-in seemed a little late (4pm) and check-out a little early (10am), but it didn't affect our plans much. The property managers communicated well, but be prepared to have your inbox filled with e-mails from them.

Great little place not far from the beach. The first code we had to get in the foor didn't work, but the property management company was very responsive and we we able to get in within 10 minutes. Place was clean and cute. Unfortunately no coffee in the house, but an easy walk to a coffee shop down the street. Easy walk to get to the beach. Only real complaint was no AC but there were plenty of fans and it was comfortable. We were in town only for 2 nights for a weddingbin Santa Monica. Was a pleasant stay with good proximity to Venice beach, Main street restaurants, and Santa Monica.
