I don't know if this property is newly remodeled but for a VRBO property it was in amazing shape and super clean. It was everything as advertised. If it was walking distance to town it would have been over the top. We would definitely stay again. I don't know if Kathy lives on her phone but she answered every email immediately. Maybe the most professionally run VRBO we ever visited. Thank you!!

We had an amazing time staying at this property. It was super clean, big, comfortable with really cool amenities. The black river is beautiful and the view was so cool! We got to ride kayaks and make a fire! My family had such a good time! Cannot recommend this property enough!

We had an amazing time staying at this rental. First of all, it was so clean. Secondly, everything worked...the BBQ grill, the hot tub, the gaming system, the fire pit. And we used it all. It is very conveniently located by car to the local sites you may want to visit. Most things are just a few minutes drive away. Having stayed in downtown South Haven, I appreciated being away from the crowds. In the past, we have rented places where there were constant streams of people walking by. Not here! We sat out on the dock, deck and lawn chairs and just watched the river. It was so relaxing. The owners touched base with us just to check that things were going okay. Based on our experience, I highly recommend this place!

Absolutely loved this place and would definitely stay again. 4 minute drive from downtown, very clean (and me and my friends are picky). The host was very responsive - had everything we needed with so many extra touches (such as extra linens, towels, kitchen necessities, games, ceiling fans, movies). Loved it!

The cottage was exactly as listed! Visited with our dog and 2 other friends over Memorial Day weekend. It was VERY clean and cozy. So much to do at the cottage but also very relaxing scenery. Hot tub, games, kayak, smores by the fire pit. Not to mention great location to downtown South Haven and only 20 minutes to Saugatuck. Our boat rental got cancelled due to incoming inclement weather so we ended up taking the kayaks provided out on the river. Neighbor was extremely kind while playing yard games between our 2 properties. Truly a perfect stay! Will be going out of our way to stay here again.

Our time spent at this cottage was absolutely amazing. The location is very quiet and peaceful. The cottage itself was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed such as towels, toiletries, kitchen utensils, etc. Kathy was very nice and easy to communicate with. We even extended our trip an extra day that’s how much we loved it here. We will be returning in the future!

The location is great, as it offered pretty views of the river and was very close to downtown South Haven. The amenities were excellent; we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place, great hosts! The whole family (including our Golden Retriever) loved our stay. The hot tub was a huge hit and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The house was well stocked, clean and comfortable. Even during the off season, this was the perfect place to relax and unwind.

The property is clean and well kept! My husband, myself, 16 yo daughter, and 3 doggos traveled there to get away from the Christmas stress of staying home. My doggos loved the house and yard. The hot tub was clean and functional. The binder on the coffee table was very informative on how to use it and what the settings mean.
We did not go exploring, but we spent the time playing games and doing puzzles. We ordered dinner out from The Kitchen, and it was delicious! We enjoyed our cozy Christmas!

Took a quick 3-day weekend trip to South Haven to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday with our 2 daughters and fiancé. Kathy's place was perfect. We had a wonderful time and everything was just as described. We hope to return sometime in the summer when we can take advantage of the kayaks and boat slip.

The home was clean and comfortable and located near the beaches and businesses in South Haven. It is in a quiet neighborhood and overlooks the river. The host provided all the information needed to enjoy South Haven. The home was a quiet retreat after a busy day and spending the mornings on the deck was very relaxing. The dogs were welcome and there were even bags provided for clean up!
