Passámos 10 dias nesta propriedade e não tenho palavras para descrever a experiência que tivemos. A casa tem tudo, uma cozinha espetacular, quartos enormes com varandas e casa de banho privativa. Um espaço exterior onde só apetece estar. Outro grande benefício desta casa é a proximidade de um excelente supermercado e uma praia que fica a menos de 5 minutos a pé. Uma palavra para os proprietários. A Elsa e o Rogério são duas pessoas que sabem receber e que de forma muito discreta gostam de agradar e saber se algo nos faz falta. Obrigado mesmo casa dos corais. Adorámos e esperamos voltar.

We have stayed in several villas but this has been our favourite overall experience. Elsa who owns the villa has really thought about her guests needs in detail. This ranges from the welcome pack on arrival, the loo rolls (replenished throughout your stay) to the number of bikes provided in the garage that matches the number of guests! The Villa itself is stunning, every room beautifully furnished. The beds afforded a great nights sleep & air-con available in every room. Beautiful pool area & we spent most of our time here. The villas location is perfect. A 5 minute stroll to beautiful Gale beach with its beachside restaurants, a 3 minute stroll to the supermarket, a 5 minute walk up to Planet Fusion bar for a bar snack or drink. On previous stays to Portugal we’ve hired a car this time Elsa arranged airport pick up & drop off. I’d recommend this as you don’t need a car to get around the local area & it saves the time & hassle of collecting & dropping off a car which can be a lengthy process. In addition Elsa met us at the villa, gave us a tour, showed alarms etc which was really helpful. Much better then driving to a local agent & waiting until you’re allotted time when you could collect the key. If you want to eat in a particular restaurant it’s advisable to book in advance. We were a party of 5 adults & as we wanted to eat at a particular time or take advantage of a sunset view we would walk down & book a day or two in advance. The weather is glorious. We always go in September just as the children go back to school. We enjoyed temperatures of 26-30* every day. Finally Villa Corais has everything you need for it to be home from home. Sky TV, WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen even pool inflatables!Elsa has thought of everything.

The property is the best villa we have stayed in. The finish is very high end and luxurious. The service from the owners before, during and after our visit was outstanding. We will most definitely be back.

After looking for months for a house at the Algarve, we found the perfect place. This house had everything we needed from a well appointed kitchen to a luxurious pool. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and adorned with beautiful linens and bedding. The house was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. The location was quiet and not secluded. The beach, Restaurants, Grocery stores and much more are only minutes away from the house. The owner, Elsa was always helpful with all information's. If we needed anything, she was a phone call away and always responsive. Would love to come back here. Great for families. Thanks, Elsa, for a wonderful stay !!!

We stayed at Villa Corais as two families of 4, which word perfectly. The villa far exceeded our expectations and Elsas personal touches were very much appreciated, nothing too much trouble and we felt Elsa really cared that we had the most amazing experience in her beautiful villa. Rooms are decorated immaculately and really comfortable beds, house keeping a lovely touch, the pool area/sun beds lovely and the bbq was used lots. Everything you need is to hand and always clean. The beautiful beach is a few minutes walk away and some good restaurants in walking distance too. Supermarket also very close and handy. De villa is een geweldig mooi huis. Het voldoet aan alle verwachtingen. Elsa is erg betrokken en regelt alles voor je wanneer dat nodig is. De villa is erg luxe en de zwembad verwarming is echt heel lekker. Fantastische vakantie gehad. Wij komen heel zeker terug!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in every aspect and Elsa and her staff made everything very comfortable for us. We are returning in May and can't wait.

We stayed at Villa Corais the first week of September 2013. We were three couples that shared this lovely and beautiful villa. This villa far exceeded our expectations. The owners, Elsa and Roger take pride in their villa and went above and beyond to make sure our stay in this lovely villa was enjoyable and stress free! The “welcome pack” of goodies, cold beer and wine was a lovely gesture on arrival. The villa it's self is a spotless, beautiful home-from-home in a prime location only 200 meters from the best beach in Algarve (Gale and Salgados) with excellent restaurants all within walking distance. There is no lack of entertainment as this villa is well equipped with a large games room, bicycles and a lovely pool. No need for a car as the owners provide contact details of local taxis that know the area well. “The Old Town” of Albufeira is 15min away. Food shopping is also a breeze as an upmarket supermarket - Apolónia, equivalent to Waitrose which stock local and British food, is less than 5min walk. If you want 5-STAR accommodation but don’t want to be restricted to limit space of a hotel then this is the place! We would absolutely recommend staying in this lovely villa, we will most certainly be back soon! Thanks for having us!

The villa was better than the description and extremely clean but not clinical. The owner was very helpful and had all laid on for us and the children. Within walking distance to shops,restaurant and the beach. Didnt really need to leave the villa much as all was there. Would reccommend this villa to all.

We stayed here for 2 weeks end of July 2012 - family of 4 (kids 2 and 3.5 years of age), grandparents and godparent with 14 year old daughter, so all rooms used. A truly beautiful Villa, brand new, classy, clean and finished to a very high spec. Having stayed in 5* Hotels before children, it is as close as you could get to a high class boutique hotel. The last 3 years we have stayed in Villas in the Algarve and this was without question the best we have stayed in. Bedroom format is master and twin upstairs, double and twin downstairs so perfect for 2 families. Aside from the obvious stylish decor, one of the best advantages is the location. To find a Villa in the Algarve of this quality with local amenities (shops, bar, restaurants) so close, a stunning beach 5 mins walk, 45 mins from Faro and the night life of Albufeira only a €15 euro taxi away is very difficult, but this Villa ticks all of those boxes. Our children loved the beach (I would say even better than Alvor, which was always our favourite before) with its alcoves, caves and sandy beach and as a previous guest says, a short walk to bring the kids back if they get tired or grumpy. 3 great restaurants at the beach for day or evening meals and a Michelin star restaurant virtually next door (book before you go). The basement was a nice touch with a large flat screen tv with dvd player - our little boy enjoyed his afternoon "little rests" down there watching his Spiderman dvd's. There is also a pool table and table tennis for evening adult fun whilst enjoying a few beers. If I was being really fussy, I could say that the pool misses heating which when the air temp falls below 25 degrees with a breeze, can make the children cold and there is no safety cover on the pool so vigilance is necessary at all times with little ones. That said, they are small items when you consider the whole package. It’s not the cheapest of Villas to stay in, but then quality comes at a price I guess and we felt it was worth it. Elsa, the owner could not be nicer and was extremely helpful for all our questions - thanks Elsa if you are reading this! x If you are looking for a contemporary styled villa, close to the beach, with a great outside space, local walking to amenities, good family base and a high quality finish, then this is for you. Das Haus hatte alles was man im Urlaub braucht.Die Ausstattung war perfekt.Es war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Abwicklung vor dem Urlaub hat bestens geklappt. Das Meer konnte man zu Fuß erreichen.Zu den Golfplätzen war es nicht weit.Ein Supermarkt war gleich um die Ecke.Ich habe das Haus schon weiter empfohlen.

As many of you are more than aware, when it comes to choosing a property in the Algarve it is a mindfield with so many choices. However, if you just want a pool and a beach with a luxury villa then look no further. This property has it all. Modern, spacious interior with decor to die for. Beds more comfortable than most 5 star hotels I have stayed in, and bathrooms that will take your breath away. It is simply stunning. There are all the modern gadgets you expect plus some bonus items - brand new bikes to use, English and German satellite TV and a play room complete with pool table and ping pong. The other major bonus for all of us with little ones is the air conditioned bedrooms and security shutters which also act as complete blackout blinds which is incredibly handy...no more carting the portable ones. It was wonderful to enjoy an evening on the terrace knowing that the kids were safe and comfortable in their rooms. There is a great daily cleaning service which is unobstrusive and keeps the property spotless and makes you feel as though you are in a luxury hotel but with the freedom of self-catering and the more affordable price tag that brings. However, what sets this property out from those around it is the outside space. Beautifully presented and impeccably planned so that there are no nasty steps for little ones to fall down on their way to the pool. It is all one level with a generous grassed area for kids to play on as an alternative to the amazing pool which has a shallow end for all those earning their water wings. There are also plenty of high quality and suberbly comfortable loungers and umbrellas around the pool which means that grandparents can enjoy the fun from a safe distance. Whilst this area doesn't provide with cultural or historic activities on your doorstep, the beach is fabulous for young families with rock pools and plenty of sand and ice cream vendors - the three elements of the perfect beach. Plus, it is only a 5 minute toddler stroll away from the villa - perfect. There is also the Algarve equivalent of Waitrose a mere 2 minute walk away which stocks everything you could need for a great holiday in the sun, so no need to hire a car. What topped it off for us was the lovely owner who is professional when booking and incredibly helpful when you are staying at the property, nothing is too much trouble and she provides a great welcome basket packed with goodies a great greeting for tired travellers. PERFECT!

We enjoyed everything about this villa. It was brand new, pretty much perfection, clean and well maintained. We were well looked after and the customer service was excellent. The area is very quiet, 2 mins from the local supermarket and about 5 mins walk from the beach. The only thing it doesn't have is a heated pool, but we hope to return again, maybe this year with some luck :)

When we arrived to the property we tought that: "Wow. This is even nicer house than what we expected." House was new, clean and well maintained. Location was peaceful and close the sea. All of us tought that coast area was beautiful. We can recommendate this place to the other persons too and we tought that would be nice to come again to this same place. It was nice to cook together and have barbecue. Most of us played golf and of course house is near many golf courses. Owners were nice and reliable. We = three couples, one child and two single men.

The villa itself is immaculate both inside and out, the rooms large and spacious with air con. All upstairs bedrooms come with balconies as standard. Fatima the maid who visted throughout the week was fantastic and did a wonderful job. The property owners were very helpful, stopping by mid-week to give us some advice on local attractions and to recommend places to eat and things to do nearby. The pool and patio areas were great with a large BBQ - perfect for family meals. The beach is literally a 5 minute walk from the villa, with larger beaches to the right slightly, complete with sunloungers and umbrellas and some smaller coves and rock pools slightly to the left for the more adventurous. 3 very good beach bars are all immediately on the beach and perfect for breakfast lunch or dinner! We enjoyed crepes on the beach on several occassions and Jelly Coconuts. Gale itself is quite small however there are a number of very good restaurants; Villa Joya is a 2 Michelin Star Hotel just 5 minutes away - a bit pricey at 100 euros per head at lunchtime, but the meal itself was 9 courses and the food was absolutely divine - a must if you are visitng without children and enjoy eating out. Other restaurants we tried included Lourenco which is just 15 minutes walk away - situated right on the beach with a fantastic view overlooking the sea; and Sao Dominico which is further into Gale and about a 25 minute walk; but traditional Portugese food and favoured by the locals which is always a good sign! Prices are pretty much what you would expect in the UK - 3 euros for a beer, a main course at dinner will cost 10-15 euros. A larger town of Abufeira is just a 10-15 minute drive, and a taxi will only cost 10-12 euros each way. Abufeira has a market and some small shops plus a larger selection of bars and restaurants. Other attractions include Aqualand which is a great waterpark 20 minutes drive away. Spain ian hours drive and the fishing village of Ayamonte is well worth visiting if you have time to drive over the border. Overall a fantastic holiday with plenty to do and something for everyone. Definitely recommended to future holidaymakers.

Like the other reviewers say; the villa is in a great position for the beaches, supermarket and restaurants.... The villa is also better than the photographs portray - fantastic, very new, clean & spacious - had a relaxing time around the pool - BBQ was fun and cooked the sardines perfectly - Kitchen is huge, plus a good sized fridge for cooling those special 'drinks' Fatima was a star 'ola' Must Do's: Vila Joya; Bar between Lourenco Beach & Gale Beach; bars on beach all serve good food, use Lourenco restaurant if you like a quiet atmosphere Shopping: loads of shops in the Algarve Shopping Centre, about 15mins drive away - fishmongers 5 mins drive away Owners are very helpful and we appreciated the welcome basket full of goodies - thanks Elsa We enjoyed ourselves so much, we are already recommending this villa to friends :)

A lovely villa situated close to many amenities such as the beach, tennis courts, cafes and a large supermarket. The villa itself was very ew and it excellent condition. The outdoor pool and BBQ area make it ideal for a relaxing summer holiday. The owners of the villa were very helpful proving a welcome basket and were always contactable to answer any questions we had on the house and the area. I would highly recommend this villa.

We were the first family to rent this beautiful villa so everything was in first class condition. However, we did encounter some teething trouble. This was due to road works as the development was being upgraded and new tarmac laid. The noise from this was terrible and we also had bad drain smell in our en-suites. This has now been rectified and the owner couldnt have done enough. We have been to Gale beach area for the past 8 years and this was by far the best villa we have rented. The location is excellent - a two minute walk to Gale beach bar for our sundowners and the view is so special. The staff there are excellent and with 3 children eating the famous chocolate crepes kept them busy for quite some time. Two minutes further on is Lorenco beachbar and the food there is superb! Our lunches seemed to last for 2-3 hours! There is a brand new supermarket just around from the villa so you have everything you need to bar-b-q at the villa whilst relaxing at the pool. A superb pasteleria is also very near the villa which is great for breakfast and at the best price you will find. All the locals gather there.
