Everything was perfect! ❤️ Our room was spacious and clean. The view from the balcony is so beautiful. The staff are super accommodating and kind. Highly recommended.

There's nothing to dislike.

Wonderful place! Mauro and his staffs made sure we had a great stay. The view is amazing and the garden, the pool plus the house are maintained carefully with heart. And even not mentioned the fantastic dinner and breakfast we had! Most importantly, you feel relaxed by the warmness/kindness from the people here. Pity we only got a day left to stay here. Will return!

A lovely rural location with good views

A little too much energetic focus on making money from us for a very average breakfast. This left us feeling exploited (check the price before ordering!)

The room was lovely and had a good sized private terrace. The bathroom was spacious. But the main plus here is the attitude of the team. Wonderful. One night the cook surprised me with sliced duck for dinner, which was not on the menu but he went out of his way to cook something he knew I liked and his beaming smile when he saw my delight was priceless. Amazing. Both my husband and II really like these people. This was our second time here and it was like coming back to an old friend. The best kind - who just wants you to be happy. Running a business like this is hard work but we saw only smiles and graciousness here. Oh and did I say the views are incomparable?? The setting is absolutely superb. We congratulate ourselves on finding Il Balcone di Monferrato - it is a real gem. Can't rate them highly enough.

We liked the atmosphere of the place, very friendly and welcoming with our two cats. I loved that everyone is smiley and open. Very lovely people indeed. Our room was clean, the air conditioning was easy to use and most welcome during the hot humid nights. Our private balcony had stunning views, as did the dining room where we had dinner most nights. From both vantage points we could see far over the landscape. We liked that our room was cleaned daily and in a very thorough manner. The host was careful to ensure our two cats did not escape and we did not suffer a second's worry about it. The food was superb and the cook was friendly and not at all snooty. Just a real treasure of a man who makes really delectable food from local produce - and home-made jam to die for. I had to rein myself in a little after the first two dinners as I found myself tempted to eat more than was comfortable for a good night's sleep. The owner even organised a house viewing for us a kilometer away and accompanied us to meet the father of the owner. This kind of comprehensive service for the wellbeing of a guest is very rare in my experience - I cannot praise the service aspect of this place highly enough. The value for money for everything we had was outstanding. We liked the families very much who run the agricultismo sul balcone di Monferrato and intend to stay there again - moreover we intend to keep in touch.

The bed was a little on the soft side but otherwise comfortable and both my husband and I slept well. However I need to stress that I do prefer a much firmer than normal bed to help keep my back healthy. Certainly it wasn't sufficient of an issue to think of mentioning it at the time and would have forgotten about it entirely if not for having been asked this question.

Very nice location amidst the hills of the Asti area. View from the balcony and the common space is amazing. The owners are lovely and the beds very comfortable for a good nights sleep after an eventful day in the area.

This was our first stop of our Holiday in Italy. And we absolutely LOVED it. A breathtaking view and great location. We stayed for 3 nights and Every Morning we bicycled to another small town and had some great coffee. We would absolutely recommend to have breakfast and dinner Here. You can taste the freshness and love they put in the food. Thanks chef! The staff is lovely and willing to help you with everything. Do yourself a favour and just go to this place! You won’t regret it :-D
