Beautiful surroundings, well kept period property with unexpected extras like a dishwasher, laundry room and efficient heating. Very clean and well kept. Love walking in the woods and waking up to a deer on the garden.

We had a wonderful time at the lodge, it was comfortable and really well stocked with all we needed. Shelagh and the team have everything sorted and are friendly and welcoming. There is plenty to do locally and we took in the races at Great Yarmouth which was a highlight. We plan to return.

Delightful cottage, re-visited year on year. Great garden and dog walks in the woods. Spotlessly clean and well appointed. Swimming pool a great bonus, and great beaches to visit,

This place suited us down to the ground: the location is near our friends in Norwich, the cottage was clean, comfortable and well-equipped, surrounded by footpaths for dog walks, and the swimming pool was a treat (the booking system meant that it was really private and peaceful). Shelagh was very welcoming and helpful. We’ll definitely be back.

Our stay at the Lodge was absolutely fantastic. The house is equipped with an incredibly spacious and beautiful private yard that is immaculately maintained. The owners were incredibly hospitable and welcoming throughout our stay and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and absolutely plan to come back soon!

We always enjoy our holidays here. The management are very pleasant and efficient. It is easy to reach most parts of Norfolk.

We stayed for 4 nights at The Lodge, small house, just the right size for us. Beds very comfortable, nice log burner, we had kids so didn't use. Nice walk over to the games barn, great for the kids. Short drive to Norwich with supermarket close by.

The Lodge was everything that i needed for a short, solo escape. It was very well equipped and was lovely and warm. It is located on quite a busy road, but it might have been worse than usual during my stay due to a nearby road closure. I didn't make use of the other facilities on site but i am sure they would be great for families staying. I will hopefully been making this an annual escape, and would happily stay at the Lodge again.

This is the second time we have stayed at the lodge over Christmas. It is an ideal 2 bed cottage for a family of four with a dog and the owners are very helpful and friendly. We have stayed at most of the cottages at Sprixworth Hall over the years.

We visit the Spixworth area several times a year to see family who live close by and The Lodge fits our requirements exactly. Its cosy, comfy and warm. Set in a beautiful area with woodlands to walk and yet close to amenities too. we always enjoy our visits. The Lodge has everything we need, comfy beds, plenty of space and a breakfast room that is a pleasure to sit in. We watch the birds, squirrels, rabbits and even a deer once came to visit. The kitchen is well appointed with fridge, freezer, dishwasher and even a washing machine. The owners are always on hand for any queries ( we once got the car stuck in the mud and the staff were very helpful getting us unstuck!}, Totally recommend Spixworth Hall Cottages for visitors to Norwich and Norfolk area.

Once again fabulous stay. Everything perfect. Such a warm cosy cottage even in winter. Owners so friendly and helpful. 10 out of 10.

Having lived in Spixworth for many years, the lodge was ideal to return and meet up with old friends. The farm was open for us to walk the dog with no restrictions Would stay again if the opportunity was there.

There is nothing I can say bad about this place. A beautiful location. peaceful and well presented. The house has everything that you need for self catering. The location is peaceful, waking up to the sound of birds instead of the noise of the city. This place is highly recommended, I would go back again.

A lovely private cottage in a wonderful location. Woodland/field walks on the doorstep, with the use of a pool. It was lovely to see the horses around the farm. The cottage provided all the basics needed for a few days away. Thank you
