Our stay was just ok. We’ve stayed before because of the convenience to the park but I wasn’t too happy with this stay. I had 2 rooms and specifically asked for our rooms to be close together or at least on the same floor, that didn’t happen. My understanding was it wouldn’t be a problem to do so. Trash behind the beds. Definitely not enough electrical outlets to charge our phones etc.. Air/Heater unit was extremely loud. Most likely I’ll choose a different hotel on our next trip.

Very close to Great America which is why I got it. Front desk was very friendly and check in went fast and smoothly. Room was clean.

It was a basic room nothing special. It smelled of smoke even though it was classified as "smokeless". Years of wear are evident....carpet looked terrible and dirty

It was nice enough. Kind of basic but it was clean and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. I was only slightly disappointed because I just stayed at a hampton in Eden Prairie MN and that one was much nicer. But it was still fine for the price.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Hampton Inn in Gurnee. Front desk personnel were always polite and friendly. The rooms are clean and they have great commodities like the breakfast buffet, the fitness center and a heated pool. Short distance drive to everything. Our family really enjoyed our stay here. Very affordable, will definitely book again in the future.

Very close to any shopping or eating options you might desire. You're also very close to the big amusement park. And if you need access to major interstate to go north or south, you're right there.

This was a terrible stay. Our pull out sofa was broken and torn to shreds. We had to take the mattress off to sleep on the floor. The bedding was dirty. Someones medical papers from june were in the cushions. We found an earring back on the sink. There was also what appeared to be fecal matter on the bathroom door.

It was a great stay. The staff is very kind and helpful. The only negative is the pool is outdoor, therefore in the cold season there is no pool to be used.

Loud AC , the fan was broken ( despite put on auto , it wouldn't stop ) . Bathroom was dirty . Stains on the floor . Breakfast items could use some serious attention ( cold and old omelets , @0930 almost 95% of Breakfast items gone with nothing left ). The carpet in the room was wet ( probably had been washed earlier ) that made a the room to smell ... over all was disappointing night at this hotel. I have been staying with Hampton inn for long time and usualy they are pretty decent hotels with good standards. But unfortunately this time was one off.

We had car issues, ended up stranded in the rain, arrived soaking wet and just completely exhausted. The staff was super accommodating, grabbing us clean towels to keep the kids warm while we checked in, and offering us hot chocolate to warm up. I felt so welcome and taken care of… 6/5 stars… above and beyond!

Love the complimentary breakfast. 3rd time staying at a Hampton in 3 diffrent locations and all three staff has been helpful and courteous, rooms always clean and quiet. All have a nice selection of fitness equiptment in thr gym and thr pools have always been on point. Hamptons are great as are any other franchise owned by hilton you can expect to have a wonderful experience.

Our room was not clean. Bed sheets hadn't been changed they had things on them. The rugs you could see were not vacuumed. There was food on floor, inside dresser drawers, the microwave was dirty. Bathroom had dirty feet prints, in overall the room didn't look cleaned at all. As soon as brought concern up front desk came up to take a look, apologized and gave us another room. The second room was much better you could even smell the cleanliness. We did find food in the fridge but it wasn't a big deal so we didn't say anything about that.
