One of my favorites in mobile

Don't hesitate to book at the Admiral when staying in Mobile. The king room was comfortable and clean and apparently recently renovated since July of 2024. The hotel is extremely well located in downtown just two short blocks to Dauphin Street where there are abundant options for dining and nightlife. I walked almost everywhere downtown and felt quite safe. People actually smile at you and say hello when walking around!!! Friendly town. The staff at the hotel was friendly and caring. Special shout out to assistant manager Shantay (sp?) who ended up covering for missing housekeeping staff. We had a fun chat while she worked!! Also they put out freshly baked cookies every evening at 9PM (not just on National Cookie Day)

Beautiful grand hotel with friendly staff. Disconcerting to see housekeepers in black and white old fashion maid uniforms. In fact it looks demeaning, the other staff members were dressed in suits and modern uniforms

Check in and check out were easy, the hostesses were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is beautiful. The room was extremely nice and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Overall, a wonderful stay.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, Iike a piece of art. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and room service came each day to freshen it up.

We were turned away because my wife was wearing shorts. It was over 80 degrees that day. If you stay here and want to eat at their restaurant, you better dress like you’re going to prom.

The bed was so lumpy that it completely ruined my stay. Unable to get a good nights sleep. One outlet was so loose from the wall that it was dangerous.

Wonderful spontaneous get away. Comfortable and food was delicious! Walkable area, 2 blocks from Saegner Theatre. Jerry Seinfeld was excellent as expected.

Very clean, friendly staff, blackout shades, yellow & purple, comfortable bed and pillows. Will definitely stay here again in the near future. The only thing that wasnt great is having to pay to park even tho you paid for the room at the hotel. Should have a parking lot for guests that booked rooms.

The hotel was recently remodeled and is beautiful and eclectic... it should be 5 star worthy. When we turned down the comforter, the sheets were stained brown. The front desk was quick to give us a different room, but the experience took away from an otherwise amazing hotel

We were evacuated from our home in Florida due to Hurricane Milton so not a pleasure trip. We want to thank the Admiral for the hospitality. The hotel is beautiful, clean and we enjoyed the escape. Housekeeping was especially lovely and professional. We look forward to coming back under better circumstances

Rooms are noisy (stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms) due to AC system (loud noise of water flowing through the pipes).

The renovation of the hotel is beautiful. Overall the customer service was very good. There were a couple of front desk female representative that were not at all friendly. The bathroom was extremely for two people. It's the smallest bed I've seen in a hotel room. We were practically shoulder to shoulder when we both tried to use the mirror. One thing we found odd and frustrating was that there were no pant/skirt hangers available. We asked and were told that hotel did not have these hangers available. The only hangers available were thin fabric covered wire hangers. One last, unsettling situation - we saw a roach in our room the morning of our check-out.
Overall our stay was pleasant, comfortable and the majority of staff were helpful and accomodating.
