It was rather horrible as the room didn’t have hot water, so we had to take cold showers and at times no water at all…really disappointed.

I tried to change my booking but they would not refund and Hotel.com did not help

Had a really lovely stay, arrived at hotel early as we had a wedding. Checked but room wasn't ready so left luggage at reception and when we returned late in the evening it had been delivered to our roon

Lovely hotel and great service. Pillows extremely uncomfortable, hard and very lumpy and told that’s all they had so I didn’t sleep well at all, so won’t be returning.

The receptionist was very helpful. The room perfectly adequate, BUT the room was very cold. The radiator and towel rail were not working. Food was very good, BUT the service shocking! 45 mins for our mains to arrive and over 30mins for desserts. Car parking was very conveniently right outside. Would not rebook for that Hotel.

Sorry, unable to review properly - I arrived at 7pm, jet lagged from an overnight flight from Canada. I had a nice meal with my brother and his wife and went to bed. I woke up at ten to eleven (check out is at eleven), threw on some clothes and left. Unable to comment on the hotel.

A great place to spend my birthday. Super friendly staff and very good restaurant. The room decoration was beautiful too.

I only have one criticism and that is the parking. Having booked through Expedia I was disappointed on arrival that there were no parking places available. I spoke to the reception who advised me that I could have booked reserved parking, unfortunately this information was not given to me by Expedia. I also think that with the number of places available preference should be given to people staying as opposed to people using the public bar. Tonbridge Wells is not an easy place to find parking.

Great breakfast, good size and comfortable room. All made better with great customer service from the desk, bar and restaurant.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, obviously well trained in the ethos of The Coaching Group. Our room had everything which we expected.

Excellent conditions, lift, good dining room with perfect choices of food, will come back one day when we have more time. Welcome tray. Infact a perfect place for the tired traveller. Great handwash and hand and body lotion, but shower gel, no where to be seen.

It was our wedding anniversary, and as we stayed here on our wedding night we thought it would be good to stay again. I requested room number 10. This was very kindly given to us.

This was our second stay at the Royal Wells and it was as good as we remembered. Friendly staff cater all requests and the large room in which the 4 of us stayed was very clean and well equipped, as was the En suite which was ample with nice shower and good selection of toiletries. The breakfast is excellent with good quality ingredients provided in a lovely setting. We look forward to coming back soon.

The room is big. The complimentary items like bottle of water, coffee, tea bag, ... are in good quality. Free parking available. Free WIFI. A very good Breakfast included.

Very nice hotel and dog friendly which is always a bonus for us. Unfortunately, because we were staying over the weekend, there were parties going on both nights so we could hear the music. But at least we were on the third floor so it wasn't too bad and it did finish promptly at midnight, but the lower floors must have found it noisy. Our main disappointment was breakfast the second morning when they clearly didn't have enough staff so service was very slow and they didn't have time to top up the buffet items so ran out of bread and fruit. The staff were very friendly and apologetic and it wasn't their fault but the hotel should have been better prepared.

A good quality hotel nicely appointed and good location. Had small issue with service over lunch but after speaking with general manager feel this will be dealt with immediately. Good response.

The hotel was nice and would have been a perfect stay, however the lady on reception ruined what was a nice weekend. She refused us a late checkout and made no sense as to the reason. Instead of enjoying a leisurely weekend we had to rush to leave the hotel. Her manner was incredibly poor.

Lovely hotel, cosy bedroom. Staff in breakfast room needs customer service training pronto. I was store trainer for Debenhams and he was not a credit to your hotel. He was surly, no good morning given, just said Whats your room number! Wasnt checking whether there was white or brown bread available, when I went to get toast, no white bread iin container and one slice of brown bread, 1 croissant available and limited orange juice available. Consequently we, and every other guest in the breakfast room had to ask for things. He told my husband no more croissants available when it was only 9.00am, breakfast served till 9.30am.

Pre valentine stay beautiful large room with lovely decor and modern en-suite. We enjoyed our evening meal and an excellent breakfast the following morning. All the staff were friendly and helpful even though some were fairly new.

Good quality hotel with great staff and pet friendly

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. They helped me to change my booking when I had made an error and went above and beyond to make sure I still had all the amenities I was looking for. Amazing food and rooms. And pet friendly which is so hard to find. Will most definitely be coming back!

We had a lovely one night to stay in this dog-friendly hotel. The staff were exceptional, really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing and the hotel is well situated for Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area. Free parking too!

Breakfast is a bit weird you can only eat from the menu, scrambled eggs and bacon was not possible we had to have fun English and leave the rest after having what we wanted.
