Very comfortable stay. Location of hotel is awesome, exactly on start of mall road. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Can’t ask for anything more. Breakfast was very good with good spread of buffet.

Comfortable stay

It was comfortable and amazing stay,fortunately we were the first guest after lock down of Corona . Location is excellent for move on Mall Road and hub of city centre .

Clarks is heritage propery with excellent location ! The the sunset view from terrace is easily viewable . staff is extremely polite and helpful. It being our anniversary they endured a very comfortable stay and decorated our room so nicely! Its an Oberoi chain and lives upto its name . The food was nice and breakfast buffet was good except that I wish the coffee was better The property is in severe need of renovation as certain corners of the room smell of the stale rubber in sofas. In all otherwise we enjoyed our stay!

Lovely, comfortable traditional hotel. For us a very special place to stay. Very high quality service combined with a low-key approach, totally without marbled pretentiousness.

Nice hotel on the mall and close to some government offices which was my requirement. Do not expect a modern building but this heritage building is clean, staff excellent, food good, fuss free, quiet and safe, overall i enjoyed my stay.

very nice hotel with super hospitality. Had some some issues with noise from outside. Could not sleep well due to some construction work outside.Overall had a pleasant experience. Breakfast buffet served on the table with beautiful outside views.

Its one of the best property to stay in Shimla. Its bang on the Shimla mall road so u need to just keep your step out of hotel and u are in between the beautiful wonderful crowd of mall road. The staff of the hotel is nice. A monkey smashed the front windscreen of my car in the hotel parking. The Hotel staff got it repaired the same day and even paid for the new windscreen. Hotel did this to make my stay happy. I really appreciate their positive approach. I strongly recommend that if you are going to Shimla then you must stay in this property.

Hotel is well located, staff amazing and room very comfortable - but for one of the oldest hotels in Shimla and where mr Oberoi first started work it is a shame that the decor is so bland and boring. It calls itself a heritage hotel but there is nothing heritage about the hotel decor. It is a massive wasted opportunity.

From the moment we arrived we experienced wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Fabulous historic hotel in great location in lovely town (smoke & litter free). Great shopping & food on your doorstep.

This hotel is located on mall road which means you can spend your day visiting places nearby but the evening can be spent on the mall road which is like a walking plaza (vehicles are not allowed). The hotel rooms and staff is really nice. Restaurant is bit overpriced compared to other places but the food quality is very good.

Billing desk is terrible and does not seem to be Oberoi's Standard.
