The rooms have a see through shade on the window and when it’s nighttime, the streetlights and property lights hit the room like a spotlight and it’s hard to fall asleep. We had to cover the window with the bed comforter, and even then, it was still bright. Will never stay here again. Got no sleep!!! Lastly, the toilet was not cleaned properly. It was stained with feces.

Quick respectful staff

Great location off the freeway right next door to a Jack in the box and Carls Jr is within walking distance also. It has a very comfortable mattress and room is spacious. Treadmill in gym has been out of order for awhile so that was disappointing. Pool was not heated as of this review. Good breakfast w/ hot items and the other basics you get at most hotels. I would stay here again.

Staff was great and the room was clean. My stay was perfect

Good: size of room; comfortable bed; nice large TV; parking directly in front of room. Bad: Noisy A/C. Table had smear marks (dried from wet rag); toilet lid had a brown hair on it; Location -backed up to the freeway and the front of it was on a busy street. The Art is horrible - 4 pics of the same semi-abstract image: it looks like an oil slick spill on water. No decor in room. Hotel required $100. Deposit (??) that will be refunded in a couple of days- seems excessive for a basic inexpensive hotel.

I love the swimming pool, but the running machine had some issues.

The reception entrance smells like anything and the bathroom smells yuck like drainage . One of our bed is not comfortable and felt unsafe during night. Someone tried to open the door , it could be by mistake and I lost my sleep for the whole night. We vacated next day. I requested for room change and they replied they would refresh the room . Terrible stay yucky.

Amazing place! I have been to many best western hotels and inns and...this lobby definetely was one of the best! Amazing , quite..rooms were clean and breakfast was amazing. My wife loved the coffee machine that had over 12 types of coffee!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was just ok. It had a slight smell. But the first room we were given had ants in the tub, so the front desk person quickly changed our room. Parking is really tight. The free breakfast was pretty good.

The staff were very nice, but I left and went to a Hilton Garden Inn in Lompoc instead. SO much better and substantially less money. So, basically, I had to eat $300 which I'm sad about. There was an overwhelming stench of industrial cleanser in my room and in the breakfast room which was truly spare and dingy. The fact that the rooms are not enclosed in hallways of a building, and so exposed to all noise of other guests going by was a real turn off on top of the smell. The grounds were strictly bare minimum okay. I wish I'd known. What a waste of money and a major overcharge. I was at the Hilton up the road the night before--same price--and by far superior grounds, amenities--everything.

Better than average breakfast. My only ridiculous complaint is the shower amenities. The tiny bottles for shampoo etc, were made of really hard plastic. It was nearly impossible to squeeze out any product and impossible to open the cap. Fortunately there was bar soap because I could not get ANY bath gel out of the bottle. Just sayin' what is provided is pretty useless

ANGELA AT FRONT DESK WAS VERY KIND AND GAVE A WARM WELCOME AT CHECK-IN

The room and surroundings areas were clean. There were so many utility workers staying there. Big trucks took all car spaces. Forgot to replace towels when they were specifically asked for and put in computer the day before.

Just an average BW property with convenient location. Several complaints though: Housekeeping service is not done AT ALL unless you request it. We requested the night before as required, but no service was done! Had to bring our used wet towels to front desk & were shown into hotel laundry to drop off & pick up new ourselves. There was a large group of construction workers staying @ hotel. Their extra-large trucks & generators on trailers took up all the parking in 2 small lots to begin with, so we had to park out on street 2 out of 3 nights & walk long way to rooms by multiple leering men & awoke to 5am loud diesel trucks. Parking is not enforced; many other guests also took up 2 spots per vehicle for no reason. Breakfast typical spread was ok, but both coffee & juice machines broken intermittently (or maybe just out of products & hotel hung out of order signs?). On plus side, easy walk to restaurants, microbrewery & market.

Room was ok but wash basin was in the bath room which we feel was not ok. Breakfast was not good. I can say breakfast was not at all ok.

Someone had a master key and tried to break into my room. I contacted the front desk and was told the manager would call me and I have not heard back. The only reason the person did not make it all the way into my room was because I had the door latch on. Front desk confirmed it was not housekeeping or maintenance.

This is not a hotel. It is an expensive overpriced fleabag motel. Noisy, dirty and uncomfortable.

Clean, had a nice looking pool and hot tub. We had a bad experience the night before in a different, dirty hotel so coming here was a relief

The breakfast was good. The room was clean but old. Had some issues with homeless people in and around the property. But the staff was attentive and professional. Not great but good. The pool was very clean.

A little far out of the way

Room was dirty - squashed dead bug was stuck on top of the radiator, floors were dirty as heck (my slippers have never been dirtier, yuck!!) Otherwise, it worked for the purpose… I feel I paid way too much for it being so dirty, though… 😖
