Great service and friendly staff. Could to with a good spruce up. Food was good if a little pricey

Typically, we love this hotel, our go to place anytime we are near or in Santa Cruz… Unfortunately, our last stay was challenging. First, the air didn’t work, the thermometer stayed at 73 to 74°, three requests later, a technician came out and said we should feel the difference which we never did, the room was hot and stuffy, 2nd, the hot tub was lukewarm at best, apparently they had some issues, we understand, but still disappointed we couldn’t use the hot tub, glasses in the room were dirty, and our lampshade looked like someone threw up on it, they turned it around to hide it so we took pictures and informed staff it wasn’t us that did that to he lampshade! Asuming they were just having a really bad day/week/months because we typically stay there all the time and love the place, the assistant manager offered to credit us $200 for our inconvenience, which was very nice of him, we will give this place a try again as typically we’d love it there… I guess every hotel has its bad days/weeks.

Everything was great!

Fabulous place! Delicious dinner at restaurant and breakfast buffet was lovely. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub also. Property was spotless, modern, friendly staff, beautiful location. Definitely a place I'll return to in the future.

This is a beautiful property, and we were very excited to arrive. The rooms, upkeep and facilities did not disappoint. We loved the pool area. However, arriving in the evening to be met with massive parking signs telling you that all customers need to pay for parking at a facility with no parking shortage at all, feels like a shameless money grab for a Hilton property. This was not well referenced on the booking sites. It detracts from all the other great things, and even though we loved the hotel, this parking fee issue is something that will prevent us from coming back since comparable hotels do not charge for parking in the area.

Everything was great until i saw my ac vent had mold all inside of it even though this was supose to be an allergy free room. They moved us to another room but not alergin free room. Tried to get my extra money back because i paid extra for the alergin room. They said they gave us a balcony instead and thats an upgrade. Overall they didnt seem like they cared to much about the mold. The bar area is great and the staff is amazing.

Charged for outdoor parking. There was ample parking at the facility and no observable reason for this up charge. Seemed everything was an up charge, no coffee in the room so had to be purchased in the restaurant. Other hotels provide coffee and water.

All in all a very nice night. Just a bit of early morning (pre-dawn) noise from room above.

Close to parks and travel

Everything was amazing except for the Jacuzzi, which was lukewarm. That’s why you lost one star

Room was not cleaned well.

The room was extremely humid. I left a garment out sig if my suitcase and it felt almost wet to the tough. I work and have lived in Scotts. It is not that humid I think something in the hotel was causing it.

Overall great location and nice size room. Bed was hard, ac didnt work, window had locks where tou could only open 4inches so the room nevee cooled down at night. The mini fridge in room was messed up. We also didnt know before booking that you have to pay 10.00 a day for parking at the hotel.

Fire alarm off 445 am no staff to direct anyone and people struggling to go to parking lot in pjs plus in friendly staff lots of extra charges crappy food and mouly rooms that smelt like dog pee and uncomfortable beds don’t go

My heart sank as I reflect on my experience at this property. It pains me to admit that this has been the most disappointing stay of my life. Hilton hotels are renowned for their impeccable rooms and top-notch customer service, but sadly, this was not the case here. The service fell far below my expectations, leaving me feeling disheartened. The fact that Hilton hotel charges for parking left me crestfallen, especially when there were plenty of parking spots available. Regrettably, this will be my final visit to this property. The musty odor in my room was overwhelming, prompting me to check out after a mere five hours in search of alternative accommodation.

Attention parking payant

For our anniversary we booked an airbnb that canceled 36 hours before our flight to California. We were lucky to find this place and really enjoyed the personal balcony. The room was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. My only complaint, that i said multiple times daily, was the bathroom smelled of urine. I don't know if the toilet needed a new wax ring or if it was the shower curtain. But I had to keep the bathroom door shut the entire stay.

We were told we could check in 2 hours early. When arrived, after a 3 hour drive, we were told our early check in was given to someone else. We were able to use the pool and wait there for our room to be ready. We paid for parking upon check in and were given a notice on our windshield twice. E checked with the front desk and were told it is an outside source, but for us not to worry about it. We were given the option to have our room cleaned or not, we chose to have it cleaned once. It was only take out dirty towels and empty trash, after calling the front desk we were told you have to request full service to get supplies refilled, bathroom cleaned etc. . We were never given that option and they stated full service was included in our room rate. Our refrigerator freezer was in need of being defrosted and was unusable. One of the couch cushion had a broken zipper and all of the foam was exposed. Very disappointed. Beautiful hotel, just bad customer service.

Stays at the sheraton a week before the hilton the sheraton room are way nicer but no pool. If they upgraded the bathroom this place would be amazing.

Expensive. No free morning lobby coffee. A/C in room made noise but didn’t obey thermostat. Permanent stains in shower. Room deodorizer applied to room was strong smelling. OTOH, quiet room, good bed, food in lobby restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced

Nice and clean, but for the price they should offer complimentary breakfast.

The cleaning person missed two days of our stay. The front desk took forever to answer calls.Breakfast not included. Balcony faced parking lot. A Aside from that, we had a lovely room, nice pool, good surroundings, a d a very pleasant stsy

I liked the area. Lots of trees. Close to the freeway but not a lot of noise. The only thing I minded was the smell of bleach in the room but that just means the room is clean right? Can’t complain too much on that. Overall, I would stay again.
