There was an issues with the bathroom tile grout. It was very dirty and the water coming thru very brown but the hotel compensated me .i

Room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful and location is excellent. My only possible complaint is that restaurant and lounge don’t open until 3 pm, but that may be leftover from Covid. You can order room service from 6 am to 11 pm though. I always try to stay at a Marriott (or affiliated brand) hotel when I’m away from home. I am almost never disappointed.

The room was really good, clean, and roomy. I was upgraded to double queen, there were no more Kings.
The service was good but I was charged twice and still waiting for refund from Hotel.

This property had so many events during the weekend. It was so noisy during the night and the morning. I had kids with me that couldn’t sleep from all the noise.

We got bloody sheets I know the convention was going on I asked to change my room because it was at the end of the hallway. They had the stairs, which I felt like it was a safety issue for me, but they were didn’t change room room was musty mildew, and it was under construction.

Checking into room that was not clean and even had mold on the ceiling and then got moved to a room that was “renovated” however the shower drains were above the floor so all the water just drains into the floor of the main room. Pretty bad overall for a Marriott name hotel.

Oakbrook shopping and food choices are wonderful. The hotel could use a face lift. The carpets are dated with multiple stains. Additionally, the plumbing backed up causing our floor to smell of sewage ( you know). The staff responded quickly to the concerns we put forth which made things much better overall.

Everything was out dated in the hotel, customer care was average nothing special. Don’t give you attention right away. Housekeeping did not pay attention to details such as hand soap, lotion, Kleenex.

Was told about continental breakfast but didn’t tell us we didn’t get it for free. Got a $40 bill. Not cool

Needs updated decorating. Shabby. Bathroom smelled. Very limited of items for sale. No room cleaning unless requested. Towels threadbare. Can’t get the cocktail you want from room service. You must take what they jam down your throat. Housekeeping overseer pushy and mouthy when I was 15 minutes late for check out after I had informed front desk. Threatened me with an extra charge. Breakfast buffet underwhelming. LOVED THE STARBUCKS

I felt this property needed an update, I was told by another guest that the hotel was upgrading and I did hear work going on Friday afternoon. I would not stay unless you booked an updated room. The bathroom was tiny, the furniture was outdated, and the decor was old. The staff was very nice at check-in, but as a Bonvoy member I would have thought I would have been given a better room.

The hotel is very nice and our room was recently remodeled and therefore in considerably good condition. The elevators were very responsive so never had to wait long. The restaurant was nice and prices were reasonable..

The smiles and friendly welcome of staff at check in...and then a beautiful room ..comfortable, relaxing and very peaceful..I truly felt this was the place for a perfect vacation..I definitely plan longer than a one night stay next time!!

Everything was amazing at this hotel. Check in was great, Justin was so polite!! Breakfast was really good and I had the M club access for appetizers and soda/water/coffee and it was wonderful. We were in the renovated rooms and they are beautiful. I don't know how many are finished being renovated but maybe ask for one when checking in. They are really nice.

Only problem were the bathroom/shower. It is tiny. Barely enough room to even close the door.

I was fortunate to be in a remodeled room, but be aware, lots of noise from other floors during the daytime hours. Also, it's incredibly dark in the room - even the bathroom vanity is poorly lit. Putting on makeup is a nightmare. Also, quite cold in the room.

Overall experience was great, but the hotel facilitator 'Expedia' wasn't as flexible as bookings.com, so this will def be the first and last time I use Expedia to make and future reservations.

I’ve stayed at numerous properties in Oakbrook and this is my far my favorite for the money. It’s a solid hotel.
