If I would do anything to improve my stay I would add a pillow top mattress and a fan to the bathroom. I thought the breakfast was better than the Fairfield Marriott where I stayed the night before so kudos to you best western😊!

Property was clean buthad a musty smell

Property had huge shipping containers in parking lot blocking views of mountain. Tried to check in early was denied and we couldn’t use pool because we weren’t registered guests! But we will be in 2 hours at 4. Not nice

A lovely view, great staff and super clean. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good.

Older property but rooms have been updated and are clean and comfortable. Out of the way but close to highway and shopping.

After a business appointment was cancelled, I arrived an hour and a half prior to the published check-in time. I was told there would be a $35 surcharge to check-in early, no matter whether my room was ready or not. I've had the same thing happen at other hotels, and had to wait if the room wasn't ready, but if it was available, they let me in at no additional charge. Here they didn't even check for room availability, just quoted the mandatory fee. Disappointing.

Customer service

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was tucked away in a quiet area with places to sit around and enjoy the mountains. The room was clean and everything worked good. Bed was very close to the wall and high up, which was difficult to maneuver with my short self, but I made it work. Will most likely stay here again if up that way.

Cute place nestled in the N.C. Mountains. Very clean and quiet. The beds were so comfortable I think I had the best sleep in ages. Highly recommend!

An older hotel that was spotless, hillside with great views, 1 minute off highway 74 (the main road for Waynesville all the way to Bryson City). Nice. Better than I had hoped.

Everything about the hotel was absolutely perfect. I hate to even mention it, but the bathtub drain ran quite slowly , Rm 114 I think it just needs a little Mr. plumber. I would stay there again in a minute.

We’ve stayed at the property several times in the past. We have family in the area. I will NEVER stay here again. We were treated very rudely by the desk staff regarding parking our sprinter van. They told us we couldn’t park in the lot and suggested we park 1/2 mile down a steep hill so as not to block other guests. In the meantime, there were several cargo containers blocking multiple parking spaces. We found a way to park, essentially taking two spaces, but the staff said we couldn’t do that. She also suggested we should have called ahead to see if they could accommodate large vehicles. The van is 24 feet long and fits in most spaces with minimal hangover. We tried to leave and get a refund, even involving Expedia customer support to no avail. A very BAD experience!!

We found a few hair strands on the soap stand in the shower. A pillow had a strain on it, but not sure whether ITV’s and old strain or the maid forget to change it ??

Great service at front desk, but room was worn. Shower would not drain and couch was worn awkwardly tilted forward. Nice view out front but loud from highway noise.

Overall everything was very nice. Check in was easy - Room was SUPER clean - Staff Very Nice and Friendly I did not try breakfast - nor the fitness room - no pool ( at my time of stay ) Only Negative -- Water Pressure was bad in the shower - Lots of Hot Water - I would and Will stay again -

This isn't a 5 Star hotel, but it is one of the friendliest stops we made on our trip. Very comfortable room, simple breakfast, friendly staff. The Scotsman Public House is a must for dinner.
