We were bringing our daughter back to college. The bed was comfortable. I was given an accessible room which is what my wife needed. The hotel could be upgraded to provide n elevator for Persons of Disabilities. It was a little difficult to walk the stairs, however, there are only two floors. The hotel gave us a room that was near the stairs. We have stayed here before, so we went back knowing this. The hotel clerk found that we had two reservations. She gave us the information to get one canceled.When they contacted from Expedia, they quickly agreed to cancel the 2nd reservation. We were not charged. The hotel is under new management as well.

Good location but furniture in the room was falling apart . The bed you sat on and the other side flipped up . Mattress and pillows super broken down. The wood furniture was rotted and falling apart from moisture. Not the cleanest. Breakbar was not up to par if other choice hotels.

Sad to say it was very unsatisfactory. The most important area of concern was that housekeeping did not lock door after going thru. We came back after veing out and walk up to a door thay opened right up no key. Carpets so dirty out socks were black from one evening at the hotel. May have been a pet room. We did not come with pets. Smelled each day we cane back so i had to get frebreeze at the local target. First day for breakfast...the waffle mix literally splashed out into pour cup it was so watered down. You could tell many had come thru. The area was a mess. But yet you would think the next people coming thu someone would be stocking or clean up. Talked to management about the security issue tho and they offered 25 percent off a room on our next visit. Even after we said we were moving to another hotel for our last night in the area. No comp of the night. We will not be back. Positive. .water pressure in shower ..easy location. Thats it!

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and especially the room. Staff was extra friendly and eager to help whenever needed.

The parking is almost non-existent. Had to park in some empty lot across the street. We had to maneuver the luggage cart to the other parking area. The grounds were filled with weeds everywhere.

The rating is not in the 7's! The air-conditioning did not work in the hall area but it did in the room. They had to come up and hook up our TV correctly. The refrigerator couldn't close so there was a huge freezer build-up of ice. The room was not vacuumed very well nor were the hallways. The fitness room was out of commission. The beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly.

We left - the bathroom had not been cleaned from the previous guests, the room smelled like smoke. Disgusting and unacceptable.

The property didn’t have a workout space as advertised. The room is used for storage because there was a bunch of junk in it but they claim it’s “out of order.” When we checked in we reserved a king bed room but they gave us a double bed room instead. There were ladies checking out before I did and the facility had triple billed them. The staff did nothing to help our difficulties. The lady told me I should have checked the reviews first instead of booking them.

Breakfast was terrible. When asking the front desk if they were going to replenish any of the items that were out they stated no. No breakfast sandwiches, no orange juice, no bagels….they don’t care at all about the breakfast.

The property was not secure. Side door opened without key card. Checkin person was rude and unfriendly. There was pet food on the floor in our room (we did not bring a pet). Kleenex box was empty. Halls and stairways appeared to have not been vacuumed for several weeks.

The room smelled horrible, like it had been a smoking room in the past. There were no comforters or blankets for the soda bed. We left and went to another hotel.

Little amenities. Workout room closed. Poor service.

The accessible shower head had dangerously hot water or almost nothing. Sink drain was plugged up. Very poor breakfast--stale pastries, warm cartons of milk.

I enjoyed the peace and quiet. The front desk lady was really friendly too. Enjoyed my stay and will probably come back again for another night

Room and cafeteria were clean. Staff was nice. Only negative was that the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off, and the shower water had some temperature fluctuation. Overall, a good budget hotel.

Nothing bad, check in clerk could use some personality. Pillows were soft, and fresh smelling. So were the towels.

When we arrived, there was no one at the desk. There was a couple in front of us and they had been waiting. They reported that there had been someone there who had then left. They had been waiting at least 10 minutes for someone to return and take care of a key issue that they had and we had to wait even longer just to get checked in. That is not the way you want to end long day of travel. And if hospitality is one of the hotels values, then those who are at the front desk ought to exhibit, some evidence of being hospitable. No word of greeting upon arrivals and no word of farewell upon departure.

Upon arrival, there was no attendant at the desk. There was another couple waiting at the desk. He called the hotel phone and no one answered after many many many rings. Finally after a 10 to 15 minute total absence from the front desk, the attendant showed up. This is not how you run a hotel.

Bedbugs, enough said.

A little dated and abused but the beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. Great for our family of 4 adults to stay one night while seeing a concert in Cedar Rapids.

The room was clean and cozy. Solid stay. Would do it again.

Very rundown hotel. And the mainstay inn across the street was basically the same price and is a lot newer

Bath tub was clogged. Had to use trashcan to remove water into toilet. Very gross. We arrived at 1am so there was no way the hotel was being fixed at that time
