The couple doing house keeping were very nice. The room had its own iron, board and a closet perfect for dress clothes.

Our room was named something “suite” but had an extremely small bathroom and bathroom area. It was virtually impossible to move between the toilet and the door. There were also bugs and crumbs on the floor as if the room hadn’t been fully vacuumed/vacuumed at all. The same goes for the floors in the common areas. The door stopper for our room was also in a large hole in the wall so was unusable. The woman at the front desk was on her cell phone with someone the few times we talked to her and she seemed a little annoyed that she had to pause her conversation in order to assist us.

The location was fine and convenient for the activities we had planned in Cedar Rapids. The breakfast was average.

I was charged twice for my room and was assured by the manager at the property that the second charge would drop off my credit card. When I returned home after several days the charge posted. I called the property and when I finally reached a manager (Kim) she basically said I was lying. I finally turned to booking.com where I made the reservations. They contacted the property and got no satisfaction but booking.com did give me credit. I will ALWAYS book through booking.com but NEVER again stay and a SureStay Hotel. They ripped off me and booking.com.

Everything else. The room was dirty. There were stains on the towels, sheets, carpet, and ironing board. There wasn't a functional overhead light or smoke detector. We asked for a non smoking room and it smelled like smoke everywhere. The lamps in the rooms didn't work because the light bulbs were burnt out. Not sure if they actually cleaned the bathroom from the previous person or not as the bathroom smelled like urine and had visible drops around the toilet and brown stuff on the toilet lid. The website also advertised a hot tub and there wasn't one. The bed was hard and the pillows were flat.. So flat your head just rested on the mattress. All around, not happy or pleased with this hotel. Management needs to take a serious look at cleanliness and maintenance. Will not be back and won't be staying at any other Best Westerns in the future.

Seemed okay. Not great but not horrible. Room was comfy and clean.

Breakfast was the same stuff each day. Gravy was ice cold 2/3 days.

Location, it's closer to restaurants. Wifi is good. The staff are friendly.

Gave us a completely different room than what was on the reservation for. Then the room they gave us was dirty and no ac
