After multiple requests online, phone and in person to have connecting rooms, they somehow couldn’t make it happen. I’m not sure what the point of having connecting rooms is if you can’t request them. It was beyond frustrating and time consuming.

Great hotel and location, the pool is a fantastic facility and 10 min walk from room to Ohio St beach

It was perfect. The only down side was one of the beds had something wrong with the mattress. It felt like it was caving on one side as if the inside was broken or almost void of any interior. Also, I waited in line to check out but it was busy and a girl was on the phone so long I had to leave. I put the 2 keys in the drop box and left. I would greatly appreciate you emailing me my receipt showing the $75.00 parking fee being removed. Thank you in advance for your kindness in doing so. After I receive my receipt, I will give a full blown review online.

I'm being treated at Northwestern and searched for hotels closet to the hospital. The property was immaculate, quiet, well maintained and I felt so comfortable and safe. I'll be returning soon.

Amazing time! The dining experience was the exceptional.

Very comfortable and convenient stay for a vacation in downtown Chicago. Great location. Accommodating staff. Rooftop pool is an excellent perk. Quick and convenient Starbucks coffee in the lobby, and a nice selection at the bar in the evening. Clean, comfortable, updated rooms that we are accustomed to with the Doubletree brand. We'll be back.

A really lovely hotel, which was easy to get to and perfect for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area was well maintained and spacious.

It was good until the last day when the cleaning lady loudly said "OMG" when entering our room for cleaning. We didn't break anything, didn't spoil any goods. There were some towels on the floor and some of the empty wrappers of the stuff we consumed during a 3 night stay. If the cleaning lady is not happy about cleaning she should find a more suitable job. As a guest, I did my part of the deal: paid for the service and didn't break anything. Your part of the deal is to make sure I can live peacefully on your property.

Good location and kind staffs

Our reservation was screwed up and the biggest issue was parking WAS NOT free.

The plus with this hotel is the rooftop pool. There isn't a hot tub up though, which is odd. The location is perfect. However, the staff was not friendly or accomodating. They sold the room that we booked (corner room king bed with a sofa), so we were given 2 queens. We need a king bed and this 2 queen bed room looked over the dumpster. I called and asked to be accomodated with a king bed and a roll away. At first, he couldnt find a king bed room. Then, he didn't think he could put a roll away in that room. After I let him know it was disappointing, he found a king room and put in a roll away. Next, they then refused to give enough pillows. The 3 in the room was all they had left; their words. Disappointing front desk taints the whole stay.

AC was not working. Room too warm.

Staff were very professional and courteous. Great location pool is a must in the summertime.

The elevator situation was terrible. Sometimes waited 15 minutes just to get off the floor. (We would’ve taken the stairs but were very high up and had children).

My favorite hotel in Chicago so far! Everyone was so nice and helpful!

BEWARE!!! Our car was stolen from the hotel’s parking garage. One would assume for $62 per day there would be some sort of security and the hotel accepts no responsibility.

Was a great stay

I had booked 2 queens but I got a king room and they couldn't change it because of Orbitz booking.

The stay was pretty good. It didn’t seem like room service was available at this location. The restaurant in the lounge and coffee bar did not indicate gluten or other allergy friendly options but there are multiple restaurants to walk to near by. The room plumbing made loud noises but other than that the stay was uneventful and the staff were friendly and informative.
