Amazing place

The Banyan Tree Resort at Phuket was just amazing! I and my family, including two kids, have rent a Pool-Villa unit. The room was so clean, and the private pool was great not only for the kids but also for the adults. The breakfast and room-service were exellent, and all the staff were so kind. It was one of the greatest trip for my family, and I am sure I will visit this place again (actually my kids want to come to this place every year!).

The hotel is so nice. Kinda far from downtown but everything you need is around. Restaurants around the hotel and dine-in Villa are very delicious. The free bicycles are good to move within the resort. The Villa size is huge for the kids. The pool are good for adults and kids. The spa was amazing. The hotel is PERFECT !!!

Wonderful stay. We had a 2 bedroom villa, which was well maintained, clean and very comfortable. The design shuts out the external world, and the air conditioning works well. Breakfast was good, although it got very crowded. We had an in villa bbq, and that was really nice. Lots of food, all very tasty, and the 2 staff members who helped us with setting up, cooking and serving the bbq were very friendly and helpful. A great long weekend stay!!

Everything was wonderful in the double pool villa. a bit of wear and tear but nothing major. Staffs were polite and helpful.

It was great villa with pool and was so quiet

It was a lovely hotel with private pool bungalow spreading out a manicured campus. Decoration was beautiful. The only complaint which brought down my rating to 3-4 was because of bug infestation. The outdoor bathtub was a romantic notion but the bugs were overwhelming. Moreover, the door from the bathtub to the bathroom and bedroom were not sealed tight. So at night it was a magnet for mosquitoes to gather and fed on us. The hotel provided us with 3-4 repellent units, it didn't stop the mosquitoes. The, there were gecko which came by to visit for its cool air and feeding. It was a bug-a-lord party. If one could look passed that, the place was beautiful. Because the bungalows were spread out, a golf cart "buggy" must be called to transfer guests from private bungalow to lobby or restaurant.

The 2 bedroom signature villas were a real treat...absolute luxury! The concierge staff couldnt do enough for us and made our stay really special. Lovely was particularly helpful and thoughtful.

Very poor check-in experience. No information at all given, by untrained staff. Meaning; what's at the resort, do we need to book a sport for dinner (yes, you do), dial 0 for reception (hard to know when no one tells you) The room has an outdoor area with a pool rendered useless due to mosquitos. Even though it's rainy season every other resort we have stayed at minimizes this by spraying/pest control. Here; nothing. Only after telling them did they provide remedies. At this price it should already be prepared. The aircon could not sufficiently cool the room, and was very noisy - meaning old. There are soo many Tier1 resorts in Phuket that should be chosen over this.

Banyan Tree Phuket is such a beautiful place. The property is spacious and clean. The service is world class. Thanks for making our stay such a beautiful one!

The staff was very good for our stay. We did have an issue with our pool, which took some effort to be fixed by Banyan Tree. The only issue was the availability of the carts to take you around the property, especially during peak periods.

The best place for a total luxury get away. Breakfasts incredible. Beautiful location close enough to everything but so tranquil and set apart from hustle and bustle.

Hands down one of the most luxurious properties in Phuket. We were upgraded to the Spa Villa, and we could not get over how beautiful the bedroom was. My partner and I intend to come back, likely with a far longer stay, and take full advantage all that the resort has to offer. Due to our short stay, we weren't able to fully utilize ameneties such as the Wellness Center, but very much intend to next time.

So pleased with my stay at Banyan Tree Phuket. Highly recommend it to those who would like to immerse themselves into therapeutic healing and slowness away from a busy city.

The check in experience was terrible, me and my family waited for an hour even it has past the chrck in time of 3pm. The frontdesk staff just passing different staff to attend to me and i kneep on needing to explain my name and also need to inform them reason why i am still waiting. No one can tell me exactly what time i can check in.

I booked a villa with a lagoon view that backs right up to the nearby beach. The property is massive, the offer free golf cart shuttles for guests. The villa we booked had its own private fresh water pool, and the accommodations itself felt more like a house than a small hotel room. The staff are all professional, kind and courteous. The staff come in the day to clean the Villa and do landscaping to remove debris on the grounds and skim the pool and do some basic checks, so each day it is restored to the exact pristine condition you checked in, it was amazing the amount of effort staff put in to keeping the villa clean and tidy. They also give you little gifts along the day (candles, chopsticks, bookmark), little keepsakes from the hotel. The longer you stay the more you get. We stayed 5 days but wished we could have stayed longer. The only small issue is the nearby beach which is public access is extremely cluttered with garbage, unfortunately you will need to go to another beach if you are looking for the pristine white sanded beaches. I wish the government would invest in keeping the shoreline free of plastic bottles and garbage. At least the hotel does their part, they provide glass bottled still water, so no need to stock pile plastic bottles on the way there. We were a family of 4 and had more than enough of drinkable daily water. It is somewhat remote location so you will need to budget 30-60 min for Grab transportation to night markets and really good local eateries.

Our family went to Thailand and enjoyed every moment of our stay at Banyan Tree. The food was fantastic, the concierge was very knowledgeable and helpful, the staff did everything in their power to make our experiences top notch. Thank you for making our trip so memorable we will always look for a Banyan Tree hotel wherever we go from now on. Thank you!

Excellent resort with very welcoming staff everywhere. While a bit old it has been well maintained. Restaurants cater for varied tastes and food is plenty and tasty. Breakfast buffet choice is fantastic but seems a fair bit of food gets wasted. Overall a great place to wind down and relax.
