Smelled like pee. Very old looking. Needed updating

I don’t usually do hotel reviews, but I’ll make an exception for this Quality Inn. We arrived for checkin at 3:30 PM and had a long wait before getting to the head of a relatively short line. Every checkin ahead of us seemed to take forever. When we finally received our magnetic card keys and arrived at the room (after a very long walk from the front desk), the keys didn’t work. I had to call the desk from my cell phone (I was not going to walk all the way back to the front desk) and wait for the manager to open our door. In fairness, we didn’t have to wait in the hallway outside our room for long, but we didn’t get the problem resolved until after another 20-minute wait. In settling into the room, which desperately needs new carpeting, paint and bathroom fixtures, we discovered that the lamps had been unplugged and that the few outlets in the room were inaccessible because they were covered up by the bed headboard and the TV console. I managed to move a bedside table out enough to plug in one lamp (no small feat in the dark—for lack of a lamp!). We were happy to just go to sleep. Again, in fairness, the breakfast was respectable and better than many others I’ve had at other hotels. Overall I was not satisfied with this hotel And to add insilt to injury, this morning I discovered that they overcharged me by $50! I’ll take this up with them later today.

Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. For an older building, the whole facility was very clean.

This property is very outdated. The carpet and interiors are very old. The bathroom fixtures and rooms could use an update. The hallways could use new carpet and some paint. However, the rooms were very clean. The beds were super comfortable and the pool area was nice. It is great for families with children. The breakfast was outstanding with hot fresh items. We will be staying here again in the future.

They put us is a room in the back of the property. Very quiet but the room was a little tired looking and the bathroom while clean needed updating. The toilet and counter were extremely low and the sink was missing a drain stopper. Lamp didn't work. The room was clean and the price was right. Fine for an overnight stay. Convenient to routes 77 and 80

Staff is memorable and nice every time.

The property can use a update to rooms but it was clean I would come back the kids loved the pool and the play area I loved the rooms off the pool area

Personable hotel staff! Great conversations. I love this place! Affordable and close to Blossom Music Center and the beauty of the Cuyahoga Valley area!

Nice, but does need updates. More low-fat, sugar free selection for breakfast.

We arrived during a townwide powercut. The staff were very helpful. At first there was a feeling of things being a little dated but when you looked everything was in good condition and very clean. They give you wrist bands that you need to wear “in the Atrium”. Because there was no power we did not see the Atrium until the morning. It was very nice with an attractive pool, crazy golf, kids climbing tubes, ping pong and more . It was unexpected to have such a nice area and a huge asset if traveling with kids. Breakfast was decent and lots of comfortable seating. Bed was very comfortable

This was a nice, quiet place to stay. It was close enough to the city to get in and out of town quickly but it was far enough out in the countryside to be very relaxing.

I really don’t like to be this person but this place was horrible. Was told I could pay cash at check in and when I got there they said absolutely not. I felt unsafe once in the room. The bathroom was horrible the floors felt awful. The bedding was decent that all I can say. The musty smell in the whole building was awful. If I would have had another choice I would have went somewhere else.

Rear entrance door was always open. Furnishings were worn and stained. Parking lot has large potholes.

Outdated, dirty, gentlemen who checked us in around 11:30 was rude for no reason and had us walk around the whole building to get to our room when it wasn't that far from the lobby, told us to move our car when it was not necessary, had to request new sheets for the bed in our room because they were dirty, majority of vending machines unplugged, poor liner was in bad shape and wrinkled. Property is in dire need of new management, a deep clean and renovation.

I did not like the first room they were going to give us it was on the left side of hotel and it looked rundown broken windows faded windows and i wouldn't leave my brand new suv in that parking lot

This hotel is absolutely disgusting, so outdated floor in bathroom coming up dirt and hair filled the empty space, back of kitchen faucet filled with hair. Someone tried to get into our room 3 times I called the front desk no answer. Got woke up at 4am with a crowd of people outside our room talking. Stayed total of 4 hours in hotel.

Checked into the hotel late at night after an long drive. Given a room on the first floor. The room looked like a typical 90's hotel room that has not been updated. Bathroom was dirty and in disrepair. There were many long dark hairs and a pill on the floor of the bathroom. Bathroom ceiling suffered a major water leak from above and was poorly patched - looked like it was going to fall in. Bed was comfortable enough.

The hotel is older, likely last renovated in the 90s. It was pretty clean, however, there was a dark long hair clearly visible on the hand towel when we arrived in the room. To be fair, when searching for a hotel I usually pick the lowest price I can find that still has a decent rating. I was there for the sleep, not for the pampering...and the sleep was pretty good.

The hotel itself is dated and not perfect, but it's not expensive. Somewhat dated, no biggie. What DID bother me is they had NOTHING for breakfast when their advertisement says they do (There's even a picture of a spread on Hotels.com). I went for coffee at 7am and tinted water came out of the coffee maker. I mentioned it at the desk. I was told they will take care of it. I came back at 8 and got the same thing.

This hotel is in desperate need of updates. Our 1st room had a ripped mattress on the sleeper sofa and stains under it. We were moved to a room by the pool and it was much better. Cleaning needs to be focused on a bit more as there were strands of hair in the bathroom of our new room and vacuuming needed to be done in the room. Security was a concern due to the locks of the room doors being flimsy and missing screws, the hotel/parking lot door didnt lock so anyone could have entered the hotel. Once we got beyond those issues the stay was sufficient and served its purpose since we were only in the room for sleeping. Unfortunately I will not stay there again

The hotel is in an isolated industrial area. No gas stations or stores around. we chose this one because of price and it was less than others, but you do get what you pay for. The shower water would go from hot to cold, was not the cleanest room, but the major plus was the bed was super comfortable. We chose a poolside room and I would not recommend it if you want to sleep. It was pretty loud no noise barrier especially at 9:30 in the morning when the pool opens. The staff was decent, but I would not stay there again.

I never leave any comments but staying at this place makes me feel like I have to say something. The hotel/motel is absolutely horrible. The worst place I have stayed in. Dirty, old and stinky. Spider webs everywhere, bathrooms are nasty, ceiling paint is falling off everywhere.. I think it should actually be illegal to charge people 200$ per night for such rooms. The only positives were play area for kids and pools. I would advise people to stay away from this hotel

Very dirty for the cost. The bathroom and the pool were particularly nasty.

We paid inflated price because of event going on in Cleveland. Definitely not worth the money AT ALL! Overall , not terrible. Staff was good so no problems there. Exhaust didn't work in bathroom. Hair all over bathroom floor. Bathroom door did not lock and/or shut properly. Only there for one night and was out most of the night so we did not bother telling staff about these issues until we checked out.

Will not book here again. Proprty is rundown, in need of updates & remodeling bad. Staff was very friendly & accomodating.
