Would not recommend. 1. Placed an unauthorized hold on the card (whatever hotels do this all the time) still waiting to get it back. 2. Shower curtain had black gunk all over it 3. Breakfast disgusting. The sausage had slime on it. Breakfast starts at 6, went at 7 and there was no food. They don’t clean the tables during time either and there’s only 3-4 tables. 4. TV didn’t work. Thankfully had a fire stick with us, but couldn’t turn the tv off once it was on and couldn’t adjust volume with tv remote or the tv itself. Had to use fire stick. 5. A/C kept shutting off. Would run for 2-5 then off. Made the room pretty warm and stuffy. 6. A constant ringing could be heard both mornings we were there. We had to leave just to get away from it. 7. Hot tub broken.
Honestly, I get it’s a 3 star hotel, but it was a terrible experience. There were 3 people working and guests had to wipe off breakfast tables to sit? They weren’t that busy and the breakfast area is in the lobby across from the desk and they weren’t busy. The only good thing was the area. Plenty to do around the hotel.

We stay at this hotel whenever we return to Decatur. The building is now in need of updating /rennovations. But it is clean/quiet/safe. Staff are always professional and welcoming.

Nice room. Very nice breakfast. Overall the facility was clean and well maintained. Only issue was the room above us had people that came in at 1:30 am and stomped around so much it woke us up.
Beds were comfy. Big pillows. Soft towels and good shower items. We will stay there again.

Very friendly, professional, responsive staff. Great breakfast, and they warn you before they put things away. Clean and convenient, nice pool. Our room wasn't supposed to have a refrigerator, but it did! They have free bottled water out at the front desk and coffee available. Located by the mall. Convenient and safe.

We have stayed before it was nice & clean so we chose to stay again.. this time it wasn’t as clean.. a used spoon beside the night stand, mirror was not clean just smeared and blurry, toilet had spits on it & bathroom had a urine smell.. this led me to wonder about the sheets if they were clean.. I sprayed & disinfected everything had to clean the toilet and table because it had spots from a previous can drink or something that was still there.. I didn’t complain because I handled it but it was more of a disappointment this time and was consistent with our first trip. I will stay again because I do like location & staff is nice but I just know to bring my cleaning products with us.

This hotel gets the job done and was fine. It’s noisy,but we brought white noise. things don’t function perfectly, eg lights toilet flusher, but it’s a 3 star hotel so I wasn’t expecting much. It’s an ok hotel and staff was friendly and patient. Would I stay again? Yes probably if I was in town again.

Room needs deep cleaning, bathroom ceiling damaged from leak above that had been repaired, light blinked and sizzled when turned on, still needs attention, reported to staff on checkout.

I reserved a king room got a double queen . Pool was down both days I was there . No microwave in room . Bathroom has rust and dirt in all corners. Toilet and bathtub were stained

It was okay. The check in went well. The office chair was broken. In the morning a guy in a uniform knocked on my door. I couldn't u nderstand what he was saying. I opened the door and still couldn't understand what he was saying.
Then he said a different thing - that I didn't understand and he walked away.

Customer service was exceptional! The breakfast food selection could’ve been better. Everything else in the hotel is updated, that elevator carpet looks hideous.

Great place to stay. Clean and comfortable room, with well maintained facilities........only drawback is that the whirlpool hot tub is out of order. We will be staying here again in the future.

We believe we were put in a handicapped room. We should been in regular king bed room. The door swung out to hall with 2 peep holds. We kept bathroom door open so to cover them. Breakfast was nice. Loved oatmeal with toppings

This appears to be an older motel but my room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I didn't have time for breakfast so cannot comment on that. The staff was ok, not very conversational.

I have long been a Marriott guy. Fan of their hotels. But, it does appear that when I book through Hotels.com, there is a policy to give me the worst room possible. Almost always the handicap-accessible room. At least for this stay the front desk guy apologized and said they were full and it was the only room left. Still, it makes me leery of using Hotels.com and booking a Marriott property.

The hotel had many great restaurant options and close to the mall for some walking and shopping. Unfortunately the room had garbage found left by that beds from previous tenants and no microwave or fridge for the rooms. Also sad the hot tub was in repair.
