Our room was very nice and large. They have a nice breakfast and the staff was excellent. Only thing we didn't care for was the large sky light. We were on the 2nd floor. The sky light kept it too bright in the living room area. We will definitely stay there again, but on the 1st floor with no sky light.

I checked out a day early due to an emergency. I was told by the desk to have Expedia call to confirm. They were told I had reserved a non-refundable room. I did not do this. I was refused a refund.

There was crap in the toilet upon arrival. They switched rooms for us just to have the second room smell of old wet carpet. It was late. I had a hard time sleeping because I could not stop sneezing. The bed was comfortable though. But I would not stay here again.

The onlything I liked was there was a living area.

We have stayed at this motel several times.it is close to Mayo Clinic, has a shuttle running to and from Clinic buildings, and the rooms are comfortable and reasonably priced for the area. They have a better than average motel breakfast.The neighborhood is upper middle class. Comfortable to walk in.

Outer room would not cool if bedroom door was closed. Shower drain was very slow at draining. Otherwise satisfactory and met are needs

We were shocked to discover that it was not handicapped friendly. I had requested grab bars in the bathroom and assumed there would be an elevator. Husband had to scoot down the stairs from our 2nd floor room on his bottom to keep from falling. Should be stated on the advertisements.

After reading the Expedia reviews, I booked this hotel for my child and I. When we arrived at 9:45pm and drove into the parking lot the exterior appeared unkept and disheveled. We felt unsafe. We walked in and asked the hotel clerk to see the room before checking in. They obliged. We went to the room and it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and was musty. We immediately concluded that we could not stay here. We walked back to the hotel clerk and they said that we needed to get a refund from Expedia. Unfortunately we had to find other accommodations at that late hour. The next day I contacted Expedia. They said they needed to contact the hotel directly and unfortunately the hotel refused to give a refund. Expedia never issued a refund either. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast lady was exceptionally friendly and did a very good job keeping the food restocked and food was fresh. I noticed she did other housekeeping jobs in the lobby area as well. Things we didn't like: the shower water was low power and temperature not very hot. The celing above the bathtub ha a square box that the screws looked like they were rusting out. The room was nice, but it looked like it was in transition-some parts were updated (counter tops new, but cabinets looked worn) Some furniture new, both others were worn.

Stay was great for the most part! Really just booked it to sleep. It was clean, but room does need some updating. The red chair inside the bedroom was all worn down, it was nasty looking! The faucet on the sink in the kitchenette was full of mineral build up. And if you are booking a suite with the bedroom and kitchenette/livingroom, just know that the air/heat unit and control is only in the bedroom. When we arrived, the living room area was very damp and warm, it took quite a while to cool down, and we had to keep the bedroom door open. So if you’re planning on using the pull out couch to sleep on also, don’t expect the people in the bedroom to have privacy, and don’t expect extra pillows. Breakfast wasn’t necessarily fancy, but it was more than just continental, they had a waffle maker and biscuits & gravy.

Great staff, especially the breakfast lady. The room was in poor condition. Peeling paint, ankle deep water in shower due to slow drain, hole in bathroom ceiling where fan should be, deep cleaning needed in the suite. Stairwell was very dirty.

Nice little kitchenette but no supplies provided. If anything was needed you would need to bring or go purchase. We would stay again especially for an extended stay. One big downfall was that there is no elevator.

The property is dated but clean. Very helpful staff and clean breakfast area. The location is ver convenient for Mayo appointments and for places to eat or shop.

Property was neat. Furniture was worn and dated. Bath and kitchenette exhaust fans didn’t work.
