we booked room with queen bed and tub. we got room with double bed no tub. Took 10-15 minutes and q little hassle to get the right room

The room was very clean and the service was good. However, the breakfast was okay. They only offered waffles and not everyone likes waffles, so I only had a yogurt and a slice of bacon

It was fine but someone staying upstairs was having early morning jogging inside room. The shower water coming along the floor was annoying.

We have been staying here a few times now as it is convenient to UC Davis. We would like to see the hotel provide scrambled eggs and 1 meat item instead of 2 meats (sausage and bacon). They have hard boiled (cold eggs).

Nothing fancy, but the employees are courteous and efficient. The hallways need new carpets, and the paint should be touched up, but the room was clean, and was also cleaned daily. Breakfast was simple, but included a waffle maker, and sausages and bacon to go with the cold options. Food was replenished often. Perfect for visiting my daughter in Davis.

I had a comfortable stay here. There is construction being done on the street in front of the hotel which was quite loud pretty late into the night. The breakfast is a little pathetic and ends quite early on weekdays.

Check in was quick and easy, it's a nice location with plenty of places to eat around it and a Starbucks just a few businesses down the street. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. I will definitely use them again while my child attends UC Davis and I'm in town to visit her.

My stay at La Quinta was pleasant. The parking was convenient and the breakfast provided was nice. The only problem was the noise on the second floor. I stayed in the first floor and got woken up by the loud steps above me.

We were a family of 8 and needed adjoining rooms but had to settle for across the hall, not as convenient but it worked. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We were visiting family in the area and stayed for 5 nights. This is clearly a "business stay" hotel. Breakfast ends early at 9am and the pool closes too early. Also, it's not very comfortable to lounge at the pool with family as there is VERY limited seating available...only one small table a handful of chairs.

The hotel is a little rundown but the main issue is that it is super hot, the a/c did not cool down the room.

The beds were comfortable, the staff was more than helpful and very nice. Good location. Easy to hop on and off the freeway. Pool wasn't cold and hot tub was not too hot.
Breakfast was only Cold cereal. Bagels, Yogurt, Hard boiled eggs juice, milk Waffles and some bacon. That was the only disappointing part of our stay.

The hallways smelled so bad! The third floor smelled like marijuana. The sheet in our room was so worn that we asked for a new one. They brought me a new one and it had a hole. Defined needs some work. Wouldn’t stay again.

I wish the card key were better so I didn’t have to ask the front desk to recode my card key a few times during my stay. Other than that, my stay was pleasant and enjoyable.

The only problem we had is there aren't enough chairs and tables around the pool to relax. There are no loungers to lay out on and there are no umbrellas. There are only two tables and four working chairs. The pool stayed pretty busy all day so it seemed like there's enough need for these things.
