Very clean, very friendly, the room is not big but other than that, everything is fine. I like their guest lounge, drinks and biscuits offered

Booked this room last minute with my rewards. Very fancy main floor, reception is on level 6. Once I was checked in I was sort of taken back by how out dated the room felt? For all the frills on the first floor and the massive breakfast buffet (very little plant based options aka salad, some tofu and miso soup) the rooms just seem trapped in the past. Bed was as hard as a board which was really an issue for me because I prefer a bed with some softness to it. Hotels.ca said I got a free bottle of wine with the room which i was never offered.

I stayed with my family. The lobby is on the 6th floor and there is a lounge for guests only where you can enjoy drinks, which was a nice service. It is a calm and quiet long-established hotel, so I was able to relax and refresh myself.

I was very impressed with the check in process. It felt like I was about to obtain financial advice from a personal consultant. The hotel rooms were very outdated, so don't expect too much, overall it felt like a 2 1/2 star hotel with 5 star service

amazing service, lobby guy went chasing a big taxi for us just for a short distance to Nagoya station. the room is comfortable and big, will visit again.

This is our 2nd time staying at Nagoya Kanko. We are happy with our rooms and the check-in area is moved to the 6th floor, clean and elegant. The only setback is that the hotel doesn't provide a basic amenity such as a shower cap.

Nice staffs and nice view of the room!

The service was top notch. Bell Boy comes to open the taxi door and grabs your luggage and stays till you go to your room. I felt like a royalty. Amenities are replenished daily. There’s service for laundry, courier service available should you choose to use it. For family of four (with two elementary school kids), they let you stay for “free” so two large twin beds show up as an option. You still have to pay for breakfast buffet for the kids, which is half price of adults (1600-ish yen with tax and service charge). Breakfast was wonderful! In terms of beds, for someone who is used to two queen bed rooms in US, “large twin size” was doable but I wish it were bigger. Overall, my family got spoiled at this hotel.

My family and I only spent one night but know it was amazing. Please don't look elsewhere this hotel has amazing services and thenrooms are huge. If your in doubt don't, you will not go wrong.

Wonderful experience we had at the hotel

Amazing stay. Room was impeccable and well appointed. Hotel staff were polite and professional. Club lounge was spacious and had a good view. Food was slightly on the led down with smaller portions and not much variety during the evening. Staff were helpful and I do understand that the majority of their clientele are domestic, it would help if the lounge staff were a little more fluent in English. None the less , they did try their best to assist and were always full of smiles.

One of the best legacy hotel in Nagoya city.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this traditional but modern hotel in Nagoya. Newly renovated, Nagoya Kanko Hotel makes you feel welcome and respected. We love the lounge space that’s open 24 hours with complimentary beverages.

Hotel was decently priced for being in a good location.

We stayed 5 nights and prepaid for breakfast. Buffet breakfast was the same for all 5 days. Cut fruits supply was few and not replaced when plates were empty. No whole fruits. I probably would not select breakfast options if I stay there again.

Nice a big room for the 4 of us, each having a bed. Enough space to lay out our luggage as well. A small bottle of complimentary bottle of wine for us too! Hotel staff was nice and friendly. Checking in and out was easy and fast.

Parking: Free parking with more than hundred parking lots. Better to park the car at B2, which you can enter the hotel directly Please be aware that the reception counter is located at 6/F Room: During the winter time, the air-conditioner will only turn up the heat. If you feel hot in the room, just turn it off.

Incredibly good hotel for my trip in Nagoya

Quiet and old school - this hotel in Nagoya has always been and is still the very best.

The hotel is a bit old but well conserved and my stay was quite nice. The staff was very welcoming.

Property surpassed my expectations. Excellent service, Expedia Platinum status recognized, and loved the room upgrade.
