We had an amazing view of the ocean and there was no need to leave the resort. Everything is provided to make our stay even more wonderful. Fell in love with this resort and we will definitely come back again.

Beautiful property but the website gives a little different impression that is truly there. The property is very large and things are far apart.

We stayed at the Westwinds at the Sandestin resort. The grounds were absolutely beautiful. The room was amazing with inviting decor, full kitchen, comfortable bed, great bathroom and shower, and stunning view. I did not get a beach view room, but a bay view instead. The pool has ours that are not enforced which means my son and I got to do a lot of night swimming which you can't really do anymore anywhere that I know of. The kids and adults are allowed to jump in the pool. The place is safe enough that I could leave my 11 year old at the pool unattended since the resort is heavily gated. The beach was the most beautiful beach that I've ever been to. Since this resort is located in Miramar Beach, you don't have the ridiculously heavy traffic that you have in Destin but have all of the benefits of Destin. However you are very close to Destin and can do all the fun water activities like speed boat rides and Parasailing. But the condo was so great that it made it really hard to leave. I went to the Walmart which is less than a mile from the resort and picked up food to eat for the entire stay. I loved sitting out on the balcony at night and taking in the sounds and sights. It was truly a relaxing vacation that I will be comparing all others to from here on out. Again I must reiterate that we were at the WESTWINDS in the resort. There are many other condos at this resort, so you resultsay vary if you stay somewhere else.

Excellent in every way!

It's basically serviced apartments that didn't have any service included. The place I booked was completely different from the pictures I booked with. There was no washer-dryer. Far from the beach. The rooms were old and moldy. When asked about it the front desk instructed me to book directly from there Sandestin website. I think they would have may be put up true pictures of the property interior. The resort amenities are good. The cleaning of the room was impeccable I must say.

Place was very nice and clean. Some beds were very hard. Bike rental place attendant was very rude. Wish there was an option to rent a gold cart on site and not only for boat owners.

Will never use this site to book again. Guess I was in over my head for first time Florida vacay. Pictures on site are extremely misleading on where you will actually stay. We ended up at Bayside Condos. No on duty staff. Trash in front of main doors was overflowing daily with beer cans and empty cases littering the sidewalk because people would leave their room trash there instead of taking to dumpster. Trash by shuttle pick up was not changed the 4 days we were there, and there was something dead in the can. Most doors had large peeled off paint patches, but ours came with an opened can of paint in the closet that had no door. Took a shower, tub took over two hours to drain. Coffee maker didn’t work. Bed was super comfy though! Pool was nice, but there was random furniture laying everywhere and again, trash, walk-up bar/drink area shut down. Shuttle service was spotty, 3 trams only went certain areas. Some drivers would take you out of their route but others would not. Tram map wouldn’t work on the app. Next time we will definitely book straight through resort instead of using off-sites like this. Condo costs extra for a $60 “post cleaning fee” when they send you a to-do list to complete before you leave and a $40 “resort fee” that aren’t mentioned openly when you reserve through this.

The first property had no hot water I was very upset because I have to soak in my condition!

Sandestin is a family fave! We’ve been going for many years. It’s very family friendly but also caters to all ages. There is so much to do on site and Baytowne Wharf is always a hit with restaurants, shops, weekly fireworks in the summer, evening entertainment with musicians, movies, magicians. There’s always something to do at Sandestin no matter which time of the year. It’s very safe, walkable and Grand Boulevard Shoppes & Publix is very close by the resort property as well.

I didn't like the low light lobby in Tower #2...It was dark and depressing.. I did not like the communication methods...It was difficult trying to find my way the other hotels in the area without walking on the street. I also did not know how to access the shuttle bus that was available for transportation around the resort. That information should have been available in the room for guest to review.

Property was dirty. Furniture was uncomfortable inside and out. The elevator took 20 min to come and go. The information regarding amenities was a text message and not helpful.

Everything was nice. Wish wr had better directions to our resort initially. After we found it we were able to find it better.

Osprey Pointe condos are well appointed within the resort and beautifully furnished. Housekeeping stopped by three times during our week long stay to change our towels and replenish toilet paper and paper towels. Our pool was lovely and we had the added bonus of the Osprey nest so we could watch the birds bring in fish they’d caught on the bay. Baytowne Wharf restaurants and shopping is walkable from the condos or a short drive. We didn’t utilize the free shuttle but it’s there if you want to use it. Most people drive to the beach and there is lots of parking for Sandestin guests. Activities for kids all cost extra, as do bikes and kayaks. However boogie boards at the beach are free. A great location which was perfect for a family vacation.

The one thing that I like the most about this resort was that there was a good amount of shopping within the hotel property. However, the day that we arrived, the computers were down at the front desk and they could not see what I Had reserved. I wanted two Queen beds yet they Wanted to give me two Twin beds instead. In the end, After an hour I got what I wanted. Our rooms were In a different building. The Lighting of the streets and parking garage were very poor. The parking of our car Was poor because the garage is small. I would definitely not recommend this place and much less if you have kids. I will definitely not come back.

This was the best vacation rental ever! Great location and view, lots of room for the whole family, enough space where we were not in each other's space! Would definitely love to stay at this location again!

Great place

My daughter and I had a wonderful time. Our room was amazing - it was so comfortable and clean, not to mention beautiful. The grounds were all beautiful and well kept. It took a while to get checked in because their internet was down and there were a lot of people waiting, but I'm assuming that isn't usually the case. I also had a little trouble getting through to customer service, but it wasn't a big deal. We will definitely be back!

What I liked about the property was it was convenient i was right on the other side from my dinner cruise.what I dislike about the property was the communication it took almost long 3hrs to get things done when I first arrived I did not have lights on one side of the room, light bulbs were blowed in the dining area and Wi-Fi did not work Finally before the end of the night things got situated

the Bayside condos were sort of dated and run down looking. The dead bult lock in the room was missing a screw and thus non -functional. Carpeting was old and dirty. Our room key card did not work on our 3rd day there. After calling the main number, we were told to go to the check in area to get new cards. We had to carry all our packages back to the car and drive to the check in office which is not that close. When we got there we had to wait on a long line only to find out that the girl at the desk was "blocked" from issuing new cards. She then proceeded to speak to a supervisor and informed us that they disabled the room key card because the person who checked us in forget to have us sign a form and give them the credit card for a security deposit hold on the room and pay a tax due. They could have at least texted us to tell us to stop by the check in desk before returning to our room instead of locking us out after a long day at the beach and shopping with bags of groceries! This is no way to treat guests who paid a lot of money for the stay. All in all it was not worth the money we paid. Also, Miramar beach was extremely crowded and we had to go to another beach in Destin.

A simple bait and switch. Lure the customer in with a picture of a beautiful room that includes a balcony with a view, and then put them in a plain room with no balcony and a view of the parking lot. Also no room service during our entire stay. That was my experience.

Wallpaper peeling, air conditioner making loud sounds, dirty couches( I believe the white couch gave me a rash) avoided sitting on it.

Everything was great really didn’t have to leave the property.

Check in directions and communication were horrible. Locked out of the room a few times that caused multiple reservations to be missed, parking is horrible and confusing. The room had an addition that I wasn’t aware of for the first 3 days. Gay people expressing affection with their partner in front of children at the pool and no housekeeping. The rooms were nice, nightlife was good and the beach is beautiful. We may go back.

My family and I had a great experience, we will definitely be back.

Our room was very out dated. I did not have a trash can in my room. The water in the tub drained slowly while taking a shower. In the morning, the police showed up to tell people that they were looking for someone and to be careful going out the rooms. I only stayed one night and the following day I left to an holiday inn. I lost close to $2000.00 staying there. The manager at the property refused to reimburse me for the rest of the days, but I did not feel safe since I was traveling with my family.
