The hotel is a ten minutes walk from Salzburg main rail station and a 20 minute ride to Salzburg airport. Mirabell Gardens and the Palace are within easy reach. The property does not provide you with a kettle in the room and breakfast in their restaurant has to be pre-booked the night before. Hot food is not allowed in the room but they provide a dinning room in the lobby for you to consume your food. Also, hot water for your drinks is provided to you in the dinning room. You have to have your own cups, spoons, cutlery and plates. The rooms are very small and therefore, not ideal for a couple. The shops in Salzburg close very early and the restaurants also have limited timings. The combination of the restrictions within the hotel and early closing of the shops/restaurants was very off putting for me. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned daily and are in good condition. There is no laundry facility in the hotel and therefore, Expedia need to amend that in their details for this hotel.

Nice, clean and cozy hotel within 10 minutes walk from Salzburg Hauptbahnhof and 5 minutes walk to Mirabell Palace. Many restaurants are conveniently nearby. The single room is fine for my 3-night stay. However it doesn't have air conditioning, so be aware if you're traveling in summer. Only a desk fan was available. Since I was traveling in December, it was fine. All the staff were very helpful and always had a smile. Breakfast is not included, but costs 14-15 euros. Totally enjoyable stay due to its location.

This is a nice hotel, well situated for the centre of the city. My only slight complaint is there is no air conditioning so the room was quite warm

The property is old, with many period features. It was quirky, the great mountain views in a wonderfully walkable location to explore the old town.

We were only in Salzburg for 2 nights but we enjoyed our stay. Hotel had very comfortable and clean rooms, location was close enough to walk into town. Only thing we didn’t like was we had to turn our key in every time we left and pick it up when we got back. Anybody could have walked in and asked for our room # key and they would have no idea because the front desk employee changed shifts.

Coffee/tea making facilities are not provided in the room. Lift is available. Clean and old fashioned European style hotel.

This hotel is not so good, very small room, no aircon, old and worn room. No thanks, I will not stay here again!

We arrived and we're checked in by a lovely lady. She was very helpful and allowed us into our room several hours earlier then the stated check in as the room was ready. The hotel has a lovely interior and is very clean. Our room was quite small but being in Austria we only needed a place to sleep as we would be enjoying everything Salzburg has to offer and there is so much. Such a beautiful place. The wifi was great and simple to use. Our room was clean and well presented. The only down side in no air conditioning or cooling. Nor ally not and issue but we stayed during a heat wave and it was very hot. There was a street market on while we stayed that was directly outside the hotel doors. Talk about amazing food! The hotel is close to all the attractions you would like to see. Would recommend the Frau Maria bicycle tour which is in the Mirabellaplatz. Check out was a breeze and they had luggage storage. One of the day staff was not very friendly, made us feel like we are bothering her whenever we asked questions. The airconditionner in the room needed a remote control to function. Temperatures were in the 40s, she wanted to charge us 10 euros to get the AC remote! All other sraff were great.

Reception staff lovely, special thanks to the lovely lady (I think Ursula?) who was super helpful and friendly during my stay. Breakfast staff also very friendly and helpful as were the cleaning team - thank you. I will definately try and stay there again if my travels take me to the lovely city again.
