Amazing room

The view and amenities are amazing

This “resort” is very out dated and although we’ve been told that they’ve been remodeling the rooms that we had was not resort quality!! The carpet and floors are a mess, the furniture is old and worn out. We had a rat fall out of the ceiling as we were walking down the hall on the 2nd floor. We were able to surround it and shoo it outside. There is missing tiles in the ceiling where the rat fell out of so surely there is more rats in that roof.

Stay was good other than the shower had no pressure which was the only negative.

The staff at The Butte is exceptional! It makes for a pleasant experience when everyone greets you with a smile and shows genuine interest in attending to your needs. We had wonderful servers, an attentive lobby, valet staff for an easy, enjoyable weekend. We'll be back!

Best vacation ever

Very disappointed stay. The pool slide is only open one hour past check in and one hour prior to check out. The room was dirty, dust bunnies on the ceiling and walls,the carpet was filthy. The pool was dirty as well. Do not recommend.

Was placed in the 6000 building, furthest away from the pool etc. Hotel had shutter blinds, big wooden ones that sorda opened up into the room, and had big divider, shower door was about to fall off, could tell no one had stayed in the room for a while, solo travelers who book on hotels.com get the worse room every time, I have no idea why, were all the other rooms booked??

Probably one of the worse stays ever! Staff were rude and led us wrong directions. Room was dirty with people's from last stay old stuff there.

Really enjoyed Dinner at the top of the rock. Although, I will say, for it being a fancier restaurant, in my opinion our dinner wasn't peaceful and quiet outside because everyone was surrounding us and being loud and obnoxious trying to take pictures right by our table and get in our way of enjoying the view and having a nice quiet dinner. I believe that shouldn't be allowed. It ruins peoples night and having a quiet and nice dinner. Other than that being my only problem or concern, dinner was great! Staff was amazing and helpful and the room was cozy and clean.

Had a wonderful time at the Marriott Phoenix Resort with my sister and 5yr old niece. The staff was super friendly and the resort was clean and inviting. I would definitely stay here again.

Photos are very misleading. Grounds look run down and rooms were old and kind of gross. Nothin like the pics or description in line. Pretty bummed we were expecting g something very different.

Wonderful place to stay, really enjoyed our trip. I was really shucked when I was charged a parking fee of $15 per day. I was never advised of that. Resort fee I was advised of. Parking I thought was reaching to far. Very unpleasant.

Im not sure I can stay at this property again. The room mattress are totally concaved and uncomfortable. It was a terrible 2 night sleep. However, you will find an extremely friendly staff and clean facility.

Every staff interaction from our first greeting to the day we left was simply amazing.

It was good. My only complaints were the pool person couldn't take cash for my drinks/order at the pool. That is essential for me because I budget for each event with cash. Also, the bathroom door was very awkward to use and hard to open/shut. Not really resort level room accomodations.

The property is very beautiful and clean.

Property is well maintained and room was clean and has 2 pools and several different hot tubs. Staff was friendly and accomodating as well. Only draw backs is the pool stops serving food at 6pm and the property has ALOT of stairs and might not be great for someone who struggles with them especially in the pool area.

Amazing stay with an incredible restaurant experience!

The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating! From the moment I rushed in needing to make a filing deadline to the moment I checked out, the service was impeccable. The food options were good, but I would suggest opening the pool bar/restaurant before 11. Went over Memorial Day weekend and it’s the battle of the fittest to get a good spot by the pool so you have to be out early. If cabanas could be added that would be fantastic. Otherwise, we have no complaints. Loved it. Will be back.

Stayed the night after meeting my brother who was in town for a meeting. I was previously interested in staying here. Less than impressed but it was mostly just ok. Did hang out by the pool bar and swam after dinner. Check in, the agent seemed confused because there were 2 reservations under the same name (me and my brother). Cleared that up. Didn't realize at the time she ended up giving me only one pool wrist band but my hubby was with me. Evening not an issue (bro said they aren't even checking) but after breakfast, my hubby and I just wanted to sit in a lounge chair by the pool in the shade. The attendant said we needed wrist bands. Just to get a towel to sit? We were in our street clothes. I offered to show her my receipt on my phone but she said no. I understand she was only doing her job but it would take me 20 minutes to walk to lobby and back to my room to get another wrist band. She finally said we could sit but no towel. I was clearly getting upset with her before that. You need to empower your employees to appease an unhappy guest. For the price we paid, I did expect to be treated better. A little thing, I know. But twice, at dinner and at breakfast, they brought the wrong meal out to one of us.

Love this hotel. Will book again.
