Had a pleasant stay. The River Terrace is clean, convenient, and a good value. It is close to all of the surrounding activities.

Our stay was great. The rooms are a bit dated and could us a remodel, but it was clean, spacious and having a balcony was great. The front staff was very friendly as well. The location was also perfect for walking around. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay right in the middle of everything.

TV was horrible to operate. Hotel room was very outdated. I requested a lower room close the elevator and accessible for my elderly parent and did not receive that; in fact, the room was the furthest from the elevator. I wasn't aware that there wasn't daily cleaning service. We did call and ask for clean towels and refresh of coffee and they did bring it up right away.

It was wonderful just needs more plug ins for phones and such, maybe a lamp with plugins in it? Otherwise amazing place!

The black girl who checked us in was not very friendly the keys didn't work half the time walking up the hill was rough

Stayed during Hurricane Helene remnants pass through. River was up but the view was gorgeous nonetheless. Room was clean, bed slept great, and staff was accomodating. My only call-out was the drink vending machine was totally sold out so next time (when we stay here again) I would bring sodas with us. Phenomenonal wakking distance to everything and good prices. Stay safe and thanks for make our honeymoon wonderful.

Good place to stay. Good price, great location within walking distance to about everything. I really liked the room setup and it was clean. The only drawback was that it could use some updating.

The stay was really enjoyable the staff were friendly and helpful. I wish the restaurant would have been open, I really enjoyed it in the past. The rooms were clean and well maintained.

We absolutely love the location of this place and the staff was lovely. The lobby was clean and the room was clean. It is a much older property with an amazing view, but the beds were like rocks. I was disappointed to know the restaurant has been closed since Covid due to no staff, which is really sad. I think they need to update their marketing page to say no restaurant because the building is there, but it hasn’t been open since Covid. Otherwise, a great facility and we will definitely stay here again.

Okay place to stay. Clean and comfy. Aging like almost all hotels in Gatlinburg. Check in and out a breeze. No elevator if you are on second floor. Convenient to aquarium and main parkway. Plenty of parking.

It was walkable to everything but also very quiet. I liked that it was really lit up at night around all the areas.

Photos online showed updated rooms. Ours was so outdated, deadbolt on door didn’t work and entire room smelled of mold. We checked out 10 minutes after we arrived.

The room is old dirty and smelly. Don't believe what you see in thier website when I booked I was expecting the nice and clean room but we have the old room ,dirty everything is outdated. Wifi is not working . Very loud. The only thing good in this place is walking distance to the town. Other than that nothing . We will never go back to this place I will not recommend.

This is the 3rd time i have stayed at this property. Great location to evwrything down town. Saves yourself 20-$30 a day parking being so close. Staff is friendly and the room was clean. Well done

WiFi and phone did not work. Bathroom was not clean. Sink faucet did not have aerator so water shattered all over. Balcony was dirty with cobwebs all over the place. Paint chipping everywhere in balcony. Main door was shabby and looked loose. Overall, the room looked very old and falling apart.
Staff was courteous, helpful and tried to help but with limited ability to do anything.

Room was listed as "renovated" but looked like walking into an early 2000s run down motel room. Room smelled like marijuana and cigarette smoke even though its a non smoking room. Everything in the room felt grimy and I tried my best to not touch anything. Way overpriced and would never recommend this place to anyone. The ONLY convenient thing was being a short walk away from downtown Gatlinburg.

This property should be completely gutted or torn down. The walls are paper thin. I actually head the woman in the room next to us pass gas and giggle about it with her kids. The bathroom definitely has not been updated since the 70's. The vanity is covered in paint splatter and the sink has rust stains at the overflow. The plastic shower shell is disgustingly dirty and the shower curtain was crispy old and wrinkled! The lighting in the room was horrible with only one bedside lamp that did not work. The window blinds are certainly from the 70's and there ius ZERO hope of a dark room to sleep in! The ONLY positive for the room was the TV was decent

Our bed sheets were not changed for the entire 10 days we stayed. Despite several requests to have that done. The room keys would take 5 minutes to open the door and we had them replaced 3 times. The air conditioning in the room was not working properly and it was hot the entire stay.

We had a wonderful view of the river. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There are no hair dryers in the rooms. We had no hand soap or shampoos in our room. We were able to get hand soap from the front desk.

The room had a jacuzzi tub that was unexpected..the staff attended to all requests in a very timely manner... the floors were dirty and the faucet leaked however.

The room had fleas. I received 5 flea bites on myself and i had to give my dog a flea bath when we returned home. I did not have fleas when we arrived but he did have them when we left. Rooms should be sprayed when guests leave.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice our room was. The king size bed was comfortable and I loved the spiral staircase. Plenty of room and a great view of the river below.

Very steep driveway and not easy to walk up to, we had to take our car to park on the bottom level by the office. The only restaurant they have was closed since Covid pandemics. We were suppose to get a newly remodeled room, there was nothing new, maybe freshly painted, bathroom and furniture were so outdated. I would not go back there
