We stayed in a Studio room in the Honolua building, on the 2nd floor, very close to the beach. The room, view, galley kitchen, large bathroom was perfect for us. But the lanai overlooking the beach and pool was our favorite part. The towel kiosk next to the pool does not provide beach umbrellas or any equipment for rent. There is a separate company they recommend for snorkel gear, floaties, boards, etc. that will deliver to the hotel, but you must call a little in advance. It was called 808 something. I didn't pay attention to the name as we were only there 2 nights. I will do better research next time. The only downside to our stay was the front desk. At check-in and check-out, the 2 people that we interacted with were cold and unwelcoming, as if we were a bother. I think one of them was the manager. Not a good way to start or end our stay, but the middle was just great!

Perfect location for an easy swim in the beautiful bay, lovely gardens, and excellent staff.

We had an oceanfront studio and it’s probably the nicest view and lanai I’ve ever had. The ocean was right there, with beautiful sunsets and incredible views. The kitchenette was well stocked and though we didn’t cook, we could heat up leftovers and had a lot of cold drinks and fruit. It’s right between Napili and Kapalua bays, two really nice beaches. We had a great stay!

We loved staying at Nāpili Kai It was wonderful to be able to go from my room right out to the beach. It was quiet, peaceful, and the snorkeling was very good. What needs attention are the guest rooms. We stayed in a two bedroom two bath suite This rooms carpet were dirty. The couches were frayed and worn out and dirty, and the furniture was chipped The property is beautiful, so many colorful flowers and fruit trees. The butterflies were amazing and looking out at the beach and hearing the surf daily was what made the whole trip worthwhile

Beautiful! A rare old style of tranquil Hawaii. Fantastic beach & views & garden filled with a botanical wonder of hibiscuses- each so unique and meticulously maintained. I will go back for sure and I’ll stay longer next time . Mahalo

A truly beautiful setting, everyone who works at the hotel is kind and helpful, it was a great alternative to one of the bigger hotel chains.

Stayed a week for my wife's birthday. The property was beautiful, we loved all the tropical flowering plants. Amazing orchid collection and more hibiscus than I ever knew existed. Location was great, we stayed in a beachfront room that had a wonderful view of the bay and we enjoyed sunsets each night on the balcony. The room was spacious, clean and recently updated with a small kitchen and sitting area which was nice. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Surronding area is still recovering from the fire and needs more time, dinner reservations in the area were difficult to impossible but thats expected after what the area has been through. Overall we loved our vacation and would definitely return to Napili Kai.

This is a GREAT place to stay! We stayed in a beachfront room and the views were amazing. Plus, the Sea House restaurant is on site and has great food. We will stay there again!

The property was very clean and the staff was super friendly. Our room was spacious and had a lot of amenities. The beach on the property was the best on Maui by far. The resort felt like a throw back to old Hawaii. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

We had an excellent stay as a family of 4. The beach access was excellent, the rooms were clean and nicely updated, and the staff was very friendly. It is a smaller resort, so has a quiet and personable atmosphere. This will be our go-to in Maui.

What a wonderful Beach Resort. The service was friendly and efficient. The Sea House restaurant on the property was delicious and so convenient. Got to Snorkel right at the property, saw fish, coral and a turtle. Sunsets were beautiful when not cloudy.

Great property and overall very quiet and pristine beaches !

We loved our stay. However, some of the items in our room weren't great. The dishwasher was broken, and the door into the bathroom was dinged. Just minor things that needed a little attention.

Perfect location beautiful room!

We have wanted to stay at Napili Kai for a long time and it did not disappoint ! The resort has an old school Hawaiian feel to it and adjacent one of Hawaii's best beaches. Our room was large, modern and updated, food was reasonably priced and never a problem getting a spot at one of the pools. We loved it and will return.

We absolutely loved this resort . It was in a beautiful , quiet bay . The staff was wonderful and the service impeccable . Our only disappointment was the inability to get dinner reservations at the Sea House as it was booked out a month in advance . But we had breakfast twice and did go to Happy Hour our first day . We look forward to another stay . Aloha

The resort delivered everything a good resort should provide. Excellent rooms, very clean and well maintained. Great facilities, but recommend booking the restaurant as it gets very busy.

Nice accommodations with easy access to the beach and pool. Hot tub at the big pool wasn't hot (same temp as pool) but the pool was nice to cool off in. It's a great beach with a nice reef for snorkeling. The room was nice. There is a very small kitchen area that is functional, but not for big meal creation. Housekeeping staff was fantastic. Parking is tight. The spaces are REALLY small. We always found a spot, but sometimes just barely.

The resort was absolutley immaculate, grounds were pristine and restaurant was delcious and affordable. Oue check in experience was not so good, the gentleman checking us in was quite condescending, speaking down to me and making me feel like I was a nusance. It was the end of his shift so perhaps I got the brunt of his day. That was not a very good start to our babymoon. The resort has many great offerings. The king bed was two twins put together and they were seprateing at the middle with one side having a big dip in it.
