Staff was very nice, and the hotel is directly next to the opera house, surrounded by beautiful architecture and a ton of good pubs and restaurants. Very walkable area too!

Fanni, who welcomed me at the front desk, was friendly, courteous, and professional. The property is immaculate and attractive.

The hotel is pretty neat and has a great location. The only drawback would be the slow internet speed in rooms, which I think they should work on.

The room was clean, on the small size. The staff was polite and helpful. Great location right next to the Opera house.

K&K is a hotel to stay in if you love Pest and the sights and sounds around the Opera House. Great access to the metro and the entire city. You can easily walk Andrassy Ut, shop the exclusive shops and get into all the great restaurants. Location is great.

The front desk staff were always friendly, the location was extremely convenient for anyone looking to explore the historical sites and the amazing cocktail bar scene in Budapest, and the room was comfortable.

Location is incredible. It's literally across the street from the Opera House. There are tons of restaurants and shopping and transportation options easily accessible. However, this is NOT a 4 star hotel. It is a 3 star at best. The property is old, dated, and a bit dirty in the rooms. The towels are worn, rough and a bit scary. The locks on the doors don't work well, doors are worn out, carpet moldy and sheets a bit scary. They dont provide much outside of shower gel. I honesty felt a bit creeped out sleeping in that bed.

Pros: location is 10/10. Beds are super comfortable 10/10 Cons: hotel is very dated. Bathrooms are very small and very old and uncomfortable to use

It is in the center, in walking distance to everything important in Budapest

The hotel location is great, but the hotel and rooms are quite dated and we also didn’t have great service from hotel staff (we needed an iron as we were attending a wedding the weekend and they didn’t help, rooms were only refreshed very late afternoon, and at checkout we had some issues using a different card for the holding deposit and city tax which we thought the reception member just couldn’t be bothered).

It took 2 hours to check in and an additional 2 hours to get towels since the staff forgot to put any in.

Rooms were outdated, need renovation for the class/stars. Especially washroom and closets, safe etc.

Excellent location within central Budapest and close to public transport. Lots of places to eat nearby. Room was fine, but check in was slow (not enough staff); room service not the best. Would forget to replace dirty towels, took almost a day to get a bath mat, refill soap as requested. Breakfast for purchase was overpriced and you can get an excellent breakfast at many cafes nearby for less. We were told they were working on improving their housekeeping.

Was very happy to find this hotel. Location was perfect, walkable to everything. Lots of dining options and also an ABC store in the corner. Opera is also next to the hotel, and St Stephen’s Basilica a block away. There’s also a Hop on Hop off stop on the Opera side and St Stephen’s Basilica side. The only downside is they charge extra for the breakfast.

horrible customer service , we pay them for 3 people and they only want to give us 1 key for the room. front desk even said oh we let her in when she comes (we said to ourselves did she really say that. Lol) i will never recommend KK Hotel to anybody also rooms are too small and not safe between bath rooms and closets doors they are too close snd hitting each others. i am not happy with that hotel, and will not stay there in any future travels

Great hotel in a great location

I was here on a weekend trip with my best friend. We where surprised how good the hotel where compared to the price! Rooms where a bit old but very nice and clean. Room was cleaned everyday. The hotel has a very nice gym and sauna - and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again! So close to everything!

Excellent hotel with great staff and also a brilliant location.

Location is perfect, just behind Opera near Metrostation. Room was cleaned well ! Room was carpeted, and the aircondition was not in use.So maybe in summer it is hot. Breakfast was OK. Easy to visit everywhere.

Excellent hotel in great city centre location close to local transport, dining, shopping and sight seeing activities.

The location was great, which was most important for me. From desk was helpful. Rooms are a bit dated, and my toilet would often run (drip, drip, drip). I was there off season, and price was reasonable. I would stay there again if back in Budapest.

Probably one of the busiest and most friendly Reception Desk I’ve ever come across. They were very helpful arranging tours, reservations and transportation. Hotel is very well maintained, excellent beds and spacious rooms. When I return to Budapest, I will stay here again.

We looked long and hard for a three or four star hotel central for walking to most all the cultural and fine dining venues. We could not have asked for more. The staff was delightful, most helpful, and have no idea how they can instantly understand so many languages. Our king bed was most comfortable, with crisp cotton sheets and duvet, and four pillows - two soft and two firm - so both wife and I happy. Located directly beside the opera house, we easily walked everywhere we wanted. A plus, we got brave - the metro is litetally three minutes from the hotel - the system easy to understand - and free for anyone 65 plus.- on all trains in Hungary. So a nice day trip to delightful Szendentre and right back to hotel. Must comment that breakfast is a superb buffet to satisfy any type of hunger from previous evening's fun. I recommend everything except the fruit juices. But coffee - perfect.

This was the worst hotel I have stayed at in the past year (I've stayed in at least 20 hotels for about 60 nights in that time frame). It took 25 minutes to check in. The front desk staff were unfriendly. The room had the wrong bed configuration. The room was extremely hot and, even though it is advertised as having AC, it only has AC in the summer. The window barely opened. The carpets in the hall and in the room had stains all over. I cannot understand how this hotel has such high ratings. As a point of reference, on this trip I stayed in a total of 4 hotels and I gave the other 3 positive reviews.

Clean, accessible to all areas of city. Only minutes away from hop on hop off bus

Unfortunately our experience wasn’t great. We were given 2 twin rooms although booking 2 double rooms. The staff were rude and unhelpful and when we continued to ask them to ammend this.
