Comfortable home well stocked for guests. Great owner. Beautiful area.

When we checked in it was noted that we brought on of our fur-babies (dog) with us and the attendant made sure we had a room on first floor and close to the side door near the dog area. It's the little things that make MTN Lodge Ridgway feel like we were at home. We were in the area for John Wayne Cancer Foundation "True Grit" trail races.

Great new location, vrry good value

The only real drawback was the restaurant not being connected to the desk for meals, etc. to be billed to the room.

There was an event scheduled for the evening of our arrival. We were informed at check-in that as guests of the Lodge we would not be able to access any restaurant or bar services. Also, it seemed like an inconvenience to them to ask to use the bathroom since we were a few minutes before their check-in time. We had traveled over a couple hundred miles when we arrived. Another obvious inconvenience to them was my need for an extension cord to accommodate a CPAP device. The cost of the room was extravagant considering the abrupt and rude service. The fact that we were not allowed to even purchase a drink or a meal was ridiculous considering what they advertise.

The only thing I thought was not so good was the bathroom was small and when you opened the bathroom door and hit your toes. But everything else in the bathroom was nice

My room was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. What was disappointing was the lack of soundproofing. I could hear conversations from neighbors on both sides, heavy footsteps from above, and worse of all I had to run my white noise app all night to drown out the noise from my next-door neighbor's heating/cooling unit. I'd turned mine off for that very same reason.

Beautiful place, quiet and great restaurant

The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the stay and the amenities very much.

Comfortable beds and nicely remodeled rooms. The TVs were set on timers and kept turning off, which was a slight annoyance. Otherwise it was a great hotel option to explore the San Juan’s!

Great location. Perfect way to stay and experience Telluride, Ouray and even the little town of Ridgway. Bar in the lobby area has a spectacular view. Will definitely keep this place in the books to visit again.

Staff was very professional, pleasant and helpful making check in/check out easy. Rooms were excellent, extremely clean and very comfortable. I would highly recommend.

It was so comfortable. Everyone was helpful and nice. Colorado is a beautiful place i will go back.

Appreciated daily housekeeping. Blackout shades made for restful sleep. Great location for hiking.

Good for mountaineers

The attached Bar/Restaurant, Million Dollar Roadhouse was terrific. Hotel was clean but basic

This hotel was very well cared for and clean. I would recommend this hotel if you are in the Ridgway/Ouray area. The hotel is very clean thanks to the housekeeping people. Our check in was not very pleasant. The manager on duty didn't seem to care about any special needs you may have. This is a 2 story hotel with no elevator. We were traveling with a pet and we are in our 70's, so we requested a first floor room but she wasn't interested in helping us with that. So we had to haul all our luggage up to the second floor. We stayed for 4 nights. Besides her attitude at check in, everything else was really good at this hotel.

Good restaurant

Rooms were nice & roomy, but did not have enough lighting. Also, the only chair was a very uncomfortable desk chair. There would be plenty of room to put a least one, perhaps two comfy chairs in the room. Bathroom on the other hand, was too small & no place to set toiletries. Check in was not even considered till 4….we got there at 3:30. Only towel & trash service if you are staying several days. But good location & easy to walk to town. Restaurant had good food & service.

The property and staff are nice. However, there is no elevator and doesn't seem ADA compliant any way, shape or form. It is only 1 flight of stairs. However, I had an injured back at my time of stay and that 1 flight off stairs was extremely tough to manage with my luggage. If you are disabled and can't make it up a flight off stairs or even need a ramp to get in the front door, this is not your place to stay. The staff did offer to help with the luggage, but didn't follow through on getting me help. My mother cannot walk without a walker and would not be able to stay at this property. I'm surprised there have not been more complaints about this.

Nice place, walls and/or doors are a little "thin" in my opinion but it was comfortable, a great, gorgeous location, restaurant attached, good music that weekend.

Easy to find, staff was pleasent, nice night stay

Amazing stay. This place is between Ouray and telluride Colorado, which was our reason for visiting this area. Staying in Ridgeway was convenient and a nice small town to visit. Staying at this hotel was a very pleasant place. Rooms were very clean and good size for two people. Only issue was room on highway size. Big trucks going by till late at night. Yes, I would stay there again if needed.

The hotel was alright. The bathroom ceiling has mold and made my allergies go crazy. The restaurant forgot the top bun on all 3 hamburgers and it was a little noisy with the band. Truck and trailer parking was taken up with regular cars, should be posted.

Loved the property and used it to see a lot of trails in and around the area.

Hotel and room were very nice. Recently remodeled. Had a problem with the adjoining room door not locking and the staff quickly moved us next door.

Friendly, courteous, clean, and comfortable in a beautiful place

Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Staff was nowhere to be found when trying to call for more towels and even when going down to the desk several times over our 2 day stay. Plan to go elsewhere to get food.

We had really high hopes for this place. Previous reviews and pictures made it look promising. The hotel facility is well maintained and went through remodeling, with full service bar and restaurant. Which has a really nice vibe. With lots of indoor/outdoor seating. In the afternoon they have live music and a few yard games to entertain their guests. Bar prices are on the high end, with a draft beer costing almost $9 bucks. We didn't try the food, can't say much on that. Staff was friendly and helpful. They offered complimentary coffee and fruit in the am, nice touch, but for the price per night, they should include at least continental breakfast. The room was nothing extraordinary, it was a good size, two beds TV and a working AC unit. The bathroom was a little small and the way that they arranged the shower makes you feel cramped, if you are a bigger person you may hit yourself showering right under the shower head. Sadly the cleanliness of the room and bathroom left a lot to desire. The day we checked in, there were hairs and dirt spots in the bathroom sink and floors around the toilet. We checked in late, so decided to stay and not make a fuss about it. The 3 nights we were there, they never made our room, they only gave us new towels, one day they hang one of the dirty towels back up. Not a clean experience. Pillows were flat and uncomfortable. Window blinds blacked out room great and that helped. We could hear all of our neighbors above and sides, which is not good.
