Girl @desk said they didnt have our room available but have another. Prob w/conputer so have a seat. Waited 20min for manager. Whonthen said he didnt have a room even though I paid in advance, with insurance!! Marty said it was Expedia's fault. No .room but sent us to Hapmton Inn. Have basically same room. Only 5 min away. Take a left then right. It wasnt! We were late to LHOTP cast dinner because of this. Marty lied to us! I called expedia. Marty called at 14:21 to cancel our room & make sure to give refund. I think they sold room for kids soccer convention. Marty should be fired for what he put us though!

The room was clean and quiet. It could easily be an extended stay as it was both spacious and had a kitchenette. My main complaints were they had no laundry detergent for the laundry room, limited staff meant there were huge blocks of time with nobody at the front desk, and there were no towels in the pool (that was unheated despite being advertised as such).

Carpet in room was torn up. The insides of drawers had stains and may have been sticky. They need cleaning and relining. The shower curtain was frayed. All in all though the staff was super sweet, responsive and quick to respond. The location was perfect. The air conditioning was powerful AND quiet which is rare and critically important in these hotter summers. Breakfast was not really edible except cold cereal.

Dropping daughter at college… wasn’t sure where to stay in Hartford… so staying in the ‘burbs outside of downtown seemed like a good idea. Hotel was solid… but just a little dated and the furniture in The room was stiff- not comfortable to hang out on and continental breakfast was just okay.

The property itself is set in a very nice location. It’s peaceful, quiet and safe. The staff was just fine at a local hotel and it seemed to be very clean. The breakfast itself was terrible.

Breakfast could use an Improvement…change it up with some variety…it was same every day…Outside of Building could use some sprucing up…Satellite TV didn’t work when it was Raining…really ??? Fix That…

Everything was great, hotel staff super helpful, even got me a bag of ice! Only thing was our room smelt kind of musty and floor felt damp, I’m not picky so just left our shoes on in the room

It was not very clean. Pillows had marks and bathroom sink had something ( soap) in drain.

This was my second stay at this hotel, and it will unquestionably be my last. I woke up covered in bedbug bites, with multiple bugs found in my bed. My face and arms are severely swollen, and my sister, who was staying with me, suffered numerous bites as well. This experience was both distressing and unacceptable.

The food at breakfast was cold every morning. Very noisy with kids running in the hallway. Our room had ants

We stay here relatively often and its always a good experience.

The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. Not enough tv stations. TV intermittently would lose service. Extra blanket appeared to be dirty. Found hair on it.

Carpet was still wet from cleaning. Wallpaper peeling, carpet worn with strands sticking out at entrance to vanity area. Just a little shabby, but overall comfortable and quiet.

We (2 adults, one teen) were there for two nights. The suite was spacious, comfortable and clean. Staff were all friendly. The hotel has two washers and two dryers - you can operate with a credit card. The breakfast was good and there were plenty of options. There is a coffee bar - decaf and regular coffee was available even after breakfast was over. There is a pool and gym - which my sons used. The place is close (by car) to the reservoir, Stop and Shop, and the town center. I asked about a late checkout and the person at the front desk was willing to work with me (no extra charge). It was such a comfortable, pleasant stay and a convenient location- I wish we had stayed longer! I definitely plan on staying here again when I'm back.

All in all, good stay. The employee working the front desk this morning was less than par with her people skills, along with her over all demeanor. She was eating a bowl of cereal while trying to talk to me. I set the room keys on the counter and she said "Put them in the bowl!" I had no clue what she was referring to and she proceeded to tell me the room keys I was turning g in had to get placed in a glass bowel that was on the counter. She didn't welcome me when I came to the couch ter to check out. Not a Hello, How was your stay... Nothing! Proceeded to eat her bowl of cereal good and said nothing to me I requested a copy of my room bill and she printed it and handed it to me without any verbal response, nor did she look up at me. Personally, she was rude and doesn't exhibit and Customer Service skills from what I saw.

EXCELLENT customer service. The hotel is comfortable, clean, and inviting. That said- there were some minor issues with the room, some of which were fixable (the faucet handle was broken off when we got there and they fixed it right away, the ice machine was broken, but they have bags of ice for free at the front desk) and some of them were not (one of the burners on the stove didn't work). Overall, would definitely stay again and the staff was wonderful! Breakfast was good (eggs, sausage, yogurt, oatmeal), but there weren't waffles or pancakes (my daughter was a little disappointed about that, but I bought some pancake mix and made them in the room the other days!). Rooms were large and comfortable.

We hadn’t been at this hotel for 2 years and it has not been maintained. It feels dirty, understaffed, and neglected.

Friendly staff

Check in was good. Not much communication with staff person. Was not satisfied with room location. It was noisy because was next to elevator. Noisy every time elevator moved. Couldn't get restful sleep. The breakfast was terrible. Eggs bad, sausage patties bad, burned/ overcooked. Check out is at 12, housekeeping knocking at door at 9 am.

Large rooms, good breakfast, very quiet area

We were there 4 nights, and the room was never cleaned, in spite of promises that it would be 2 days in a row.

I’ve been on a 10-day road trip with a teenager. This room was by far the most expensive and by far the absolute worst we stayed in. Checked in at 10pm - $300 for a 12-hr stay in a ‘suite’ where the pullout couch was so filthy I ended up getting bedding from my car and we eventually decided he would sleep on the floor over the mattress; the trim was pulling off the walls revealing mold; floors had clearly not been cleaned bc moving the curtain revealed the bridal party bag from the last stay - complete with candy and condoms - the directions to the wedding were left prominently on the table. A TV in the front room and one in the bedroom - but 1 remote and it worked neither TV. After paying $3.50 for tepid 16oz Diet Coke, I went looking for ice. No maker in the frig, no trays, no ice vending, and when I went to the front no one up there. Shower didn’t have a curtain liner so water everywhere. The young woman who checked me out in the morning was lovely - but for the money, this was simply bad on all levels.

Worst hotel. Took my money for a reservation and then when I went in to check in they told me they had no rooms available. Total joke. Stay away.

Convenient location near the Jackson Labs and UConn Medical Center. Breakfast was warm items (eggs, bacon, potatoes) but sometimes ran out of fruit, yogurt. Third floor ceiling has multiple water leak stains. Hotel shuttle service was hit-or-miss (staff not available) even during scheduled morning hours. Room was mostly clean, some debris on carpet but bathroom and bed very clean. Overall, a good stay.
