Room was a little small and the shower didn't get too hot. It was regulated. Noone likes that.

I was impressed by the Delamar. It is posh but not stuffy. Beautiful room and bathroom. Bed was so comfortable! The weather didn't permit outdoor dining, as it was pouring rain. However the outdoor dining area is lovely and a nice asset to the property.

I thought the breakfast was average, not terrible just ok. Also, the dining room on both occasions I dined there was freezing cold- bring a sweater!

I liked that they moved our room when a neighbor was complaining about me and my fiance leaving to go out at night and coming back because we were prepping for my wedding day the next day.

I got accused of smoking in the room by a worker saying he saw the window was open and there was all my groomsmen in the room getting ready. Then that same night, my groomsmen got kicked out of their rooms me and my wife spent a lot of money on so we had a place close by the venue to sleep rather than drive home drunk after the wedding. We were accused of throwing an after party and had over 6 cop cars called on my friends. Ruined my wedding night. Honestly, felt racially profiled, especially my friend/groomsmen who got the cops called on him.

Great location and easily accessed. The staff is very friendly and service minded. They have good sized rooms and very comfy beds. Clean

The gym is a bit too small.

The room was beautiful. Everyone was very polite and we enjoyed the bit of glitz and glamour of the place for the night we stayed. The neighborhood near the hotel had many options to spend your money in many different ways. The area is quiet and comfortable - you can also walk to some very nice shops and restaurants.

I would just state that if you're a relatively "normal" person with limited interest in spending tens of thousands of dollars in the area you might want to try something else. West Hartford is extremely fancy and my spouse and I are not. I take full responsibility for not doing better research for our weekend getaway and booking the hotel. Again, nothing against the hotel - it was great and so were the folks that were checking us in and out.
