Near the beautiful beach.

The property was nice but a bit tired and run down friendly staff was a bit misleading about Penguin Show not experience I was expecting

What a great setup with every convenience of both a well equipment apartment and the facilities of a hotel.

Only one penguin showed up, the others got stage fright😁.. A great experience, regardless.

Spent 1 night here with family and we all enjoyed it. Staff were very friendly and our kids loved the pool, restaurant and the Penguin show.

Didn’t realise bedrooms were upstairs and bathrooms downstairs having very bad arthritis I’m sometimes unable to climb up and down stairs Spoke to the manager and he advised us we had a sofa bed in the room l could use and arranged for housekeeping to bring some extra bedding to our unit Nothing was too much trouble for them Much appreciated

Diamond Island Resort has very clean and spacious rooms , an expansive well kept green space and only minutes walk from the beach and Diamond Island to explore. We were lucky enough to see two baby penguins and one adult penguin

Our stay included penguin viewing. The gate wasn’t opened after the one hour so we didn’t see the penguins! Very disappointing.

Beautiful scenery, great accommodation friendly staff!

The location of the resort is wonderful and we had an amazing view from our balcony. The unit was also very spacious. We had dinner at the resort which was very good. The downsides were the room is dated with minimal furnishings but the bed was very comfortable. Also significantly, the phrase Penguin tour is a bit misleading. We stand on a platform on the resort’s grass and hope Penguins come up to the platform area. We are not permitted to enter the beach area where other paid tours go. We stood on the platform 2 nights and never saw a Penguin. If you don’t care about seeing the penguins, it is still a lovely location to stay in. The pool area looks clean and nice too and the views are wonderful.

Apartment needs a VERY deep clean. Significant mold in shower and bathroom. Thick dust in bedroom furniture and tap leaking in kitchenette

Rooms are nice enough. Cleanliness was a little average. Potato chips on the couch. Lifted the pillows showing it hadn't been cleaned. Lots of rubbish there. Remote for the TV was missing. Complimentary penguin tour while a nice gesture was disappointing. Host didn't talk, just pointed a light at the penguins. A viewing platform is on the property however people were chasing the penguins disturbing their path. Really inappropriate which should have been stopped.

Management seemed to have no idea. I was supposably given the wrong keys to the wrong room only to find out the room wasnt even ready so I had to wait at least 1 1/2 hrs . Washing machine and the laundry room was very dirty and the Dryer door was damaged and hard to close. At least this facility was free of charge. there was a distinct lack of privacy in the lounge/bedroom area as the blinds didnt cover the window leaving a gap at least 100mm(which the morning sun shone through) and there were no blinds at all on the kitchen window. Will not stay again.

I was underwhelmed by the discoloured bed base and dirty appearance of the beige- brown carpet. The bed was extremely comfortable, perhaps aged bed base could have been hidden by bed linen. Aged brown Carpet needs replacing. Did not mind the sea rusted out door railings or rusted / aged appearance of the outdoor deck furniture as that is to be expected. I had a slip on ground floor toilet floor tiles when they were damp. I had bare feet at the time. I bruised my 4th toe and had trouble weight bearing for 4-5 days. Probably needs non slip tiles in bathrooms for safety purposes. Restaurant floor manager was supremely attentive and polite- an absolute pleasure to have dealings with. We loved the fact that you provided a washing machine and dryer without charge- with unlimited operational times applied.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful resort and the food at the restaurant was great.

Clean, spacious units and have prime position to watch the penguins come in each night

Access to beach. Newborn penguins. Obliging staff. Requests dealt with promptly. Night time penguin viewing disappointing until we were given the requisite lighting for private use.

The room was not particularly clean. Flies and dust etc as well as a ‘ring’ around the spa bath. The entry / exit was terrible having a rubbish pile and junk showing. Bed was comfy and clean.

Nice place to stay but internet was basically non existent down the lower accommodation.

The rooms were very large. The penguin walk was well run.

it was relaxing and you could walk the proptery or go down to the beach and then at night see the peguins

Was a very lovely and comfortable stay. Friendly staff and meals in the restaurant were amazing! Will be back and recommend to all.

Friendly staff, accommodating, dogs allowed! Only negative, when viewing penguins at night staff let people get too close to them and blocked their way, scaring them.
