The room was amazing and they have a cute little coffee/tea area. Scones delivered in the morning and everyone was so nice. Beautiful place to stay.

The size of the bathroom (huge) was a surprise! Enjoyed the shower, lots of room, shower bars, great towels. The scones in the AM, delicious as was the coffee available in the lobby. Restaurant connected to the building, excellent check for hours open. Everyone friendly, helpful, especially the receptionist working in the early morning and afternoon. Stayed on the first floor, stairs to the upper floor a challenge for cane users. Had a great time and would stay here again.

Loved our stay at the Hanford house! My daughter especially loved opening the door every morning to fresh, warm scones. Such a treat! The staff were all very friendly, too. Thank you!

Gina at the front desk was very helpful and friendly, they had homemade cookies and wine to sample in the lobby. Breakfast was served in the restaurant, the element, you have 5 entrees to chose from.. Fresh scones were delivered to your room in the morning, Nice sized room. would recommend, but beware that all stores in suttercreek our closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

we enjoyed our stay the only question is why did you stopped giving out the breakfast coupons and why did it not show room only when you make reservations.

It was perfect for what we wanted and they even have coffee service available at 7am and warm lemon scones delivered to our front door at 7:30am. Choice of 4 options for breakfast M-F that we choose night before. Loved that we could walk to town for dinner and it was very quiet. Slept so well on the comfortable bed and pillow!

Hanford House does everything well from check in service to coffee, their delicious scones and wonderful breakfast. Always a pleasure to stay here.

A wonderful place to stay in Sutter Creek, which is convenient to nearby vineyards and wine tasting establishments. It’s also across the street from a friendly local farmers market on Saturday. I ate breakfast outside in the cafe downstairs while listening to the folk musician performing at the market. The room was quiet and comfortable. The only small con was having to carry our luggage up 2 flights of stairs to our room. Bonus—fresh scones delivered to our door and fresh coffee down the hall. Highly recommend!

Such a special, lovely small boutique hotel-we had a birthday dinner that night and enjoyed every aspect of our stay.

Return guests for a quick overnight getaway. We were pleased to find out we were upgraded to a cottage. Totally unexpected and appreciated. Room was perfect and the hot tub a plus. Glad to see the resaurant, Element, was open. We enjoyed breakfast there. Staff and service superb.

My husband and I were in the area visiting family. We arrived to the hotel late (my only regret!). Everyone was so kind and helpful. The place is extremely well thought out and comfortable. Food and service outstanding. Flat out a great place to stay. We will definitely be back!!! Great job Hanford House!

Don’t hesitate booking your room here! We absolutely loved our stay. From the easy check in to the scones delivered to your door at 7 am. The bed was very comfortable, rooms cozy and coffee/tea served on both floors. The attached restaurant is the best! Manager Sarah is so welcoming, and all the waitresses were attentive and darling. You just can’t go wrong here!

2 day stay. Had to switch rooms due to a mattress situation. No problem. Staff Diane was very accommodating and showed concern for us and made it possible for a room change. Enjoyed our stay!
