Great location and very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast was really nice. Rooms need an upgrade and WiFi was in and out but overall a very good stay.

They have staff on 24hrs a day. The 2 room suites include kitchenette with fridge, small stove, plates & utensils. All rooms come with a programable safe to keep valuables in. Very quiet and peaceful. Having a free breakfast included is very nice. located centrally and very close to ferry terminal. This was my second stay at the property. Rates are very reasonable!

My stay at Suites Colonial was excellent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is near EVERYTHING! All in walking distance or near taxi's when they were needed.

This is an older property, but was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. The only downside to this place is there is no parking for a rental car….I would definitely stay there again…

Colonial suites is a great location!
Lots of great restaurants in the immediate area, and a short walk to the pier for diving.
Staff was very professional and friendly. I had a small issue, that was taken care of immediately.
Breakfast of coffee, fruit and yogurt, toast, eggs, and refried beans was served on the premises. Very efficient, and again the staff was great.

The scores are not reflecting the condition of the rooms. The air condition was not strong enough to dry up the humidity in the room. I cleaned the filter of the air condition that accumulated thick dust. There was a kitchen but no cooking pots, only a small fry pan. We Asians need to drink boiled water and it was almost impossible.

Even though these rooms are priced for double occupancy, the hotel WILL charge you for the second guest if you book it only listing one person. They admit no difference in price but say " we must respect the contracr" and extort you at check in. Expedia will not help you in this situation.

The other reviews are correct. It’s a simple but large condo with a bedroom, kitchen, sitting room and table area. Immaculately clean. Very good breakfast. Situated in the heart of downtown. Will absolutely stay again!

For a economical and convenient place to stay, you can't beat Suites Colonial. While the property is a little dated (aka 'charm'), the rooms are very clean and well appointed. Slept like a rock in the comfortable bed. Water pressure is a little low in the shower so easy on the shampoo.

The only thing i have to say negative is that the hot water only works for Mabey 2minutes so you have to shower very quickly

Where do I even begin, Suites Colonial exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The staff was amazing, as well as helpful and courteous. Shout out to Beatrice and Luisa for helping and accommodating us in every way. Me and my cousin are truly grateful and we are looking forward to booking with Suites Colonial in the near future. The staff made our stay a memorable one, I can’t wait to come back!! 💜💜💜

Courteous and helpful reception desk. The bed was very comfortable but the couch not so much. The space served us well. Not the most modern of places, but for the money we didn't expect more. Having said that, we found the suite very clean, and really nothing to complain about. I would stay here again.

Suites colonial is an amazing hotel that raises the bar 👍 booked wrong dates accidently thanks to expedia's bad ui, immediately called expedia - they were very unhelpful and said 'not my problem'. The hotel however accommodated us. This is the only hotel I'll stay in cozumel. 5 stars.
But expedia gets 2 star. Do better

The staff was kind and the location is good. But there is no mini fridge in the room (which is really helpful if youre traveling with a toddler, like we were) and the breakfast is exactly the same every morning.

It was very quiet everyone was friendly you can walk to many restaurants and shops the 2 things we did not like was you only had hot water for a shower for about maybe 2 minutes at the most then it is cold and no refrigerator in the room

This hotel is in the heart of downtown, near several local shops and restaurants. The staff was very accomodating and provided an extra bed when we asked. They even deviated from their breakfast menu and prepared alternatives when we inquired about specific Mexican dishes. Would definitely recommend.

The place is a great price for what you get! And the toilets have enough water pressure to flush just like home (I have been to MANY hotels in Cozumel and this is the first one that has proper toilet flushing - which can be important!).
Ordering breakfast was difficult due to the language barrier and even with google translate we would never get the correct food...but not a big deal.
