Fantastic location within walking distance of all main attractions. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff provided excellent service, especially in the breakfast room. The only negative was the bed - it was so hard that we struggled to sleep our whole stay.

Friendly staff and extremely clean property

This hotel is beautiful! The room was immaculate and very spacious. The stay extremely helpful and friendly! There is a beautiful terrace to have a delicious breakfast with many food options and dietary concerns. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else and would highly recommend!

This was our second time returning to the hotel. We had an amazing stay the first time, but this time, we were assigned what looked like an accessible room for a handicapped person. The room was small and the shower booth was foldable. Otherwise I had a comfortable stay and the staff were nice but it just did not look like the pictures or the other room we stayed last year. We booked a standard room so we expected to look like what is shown in the pictures.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Beautiful view from our balcony, delicious breakfast, amazing, cheerful, helpful stay. The location is great - close to the city center and near the train station. I highly recommend it!

I stay at this hotel everytime i travel to Florence 2016 - present. It never disappoint my needs. All the things that I need to enjoy and relax is well catered. From their excellent friendly and helpfull staff, to their breakfast menu...Outstanding. great location, walkable to great restaurants and shopping. Close to all historical sights. The rooms are big, clean, with great ammenities for the guest to enjoy. For the pricce of a 4 star rated hotel it's all worth it.

Wonderful hotel with spacious rooms (superior balcony) with large bathroom with rainfall shower head, large sink and counter space to put out your belongings. Room with large with desk area and TV in room with hundreds of channels both local and international. Balcony was great for sitting out in the evening to watch the sunset over the dome of Santa Maria del Fiore. The staff were excellent in all areas from Judith at front reception to Eugenia cleaning our rooms, to Estelyn (spelling) in the breakfast area. She always filled out water bottles with water and ice for the day. Breakfast included had wide variety of pastries, fruit, meat, cheese, eggs, bacon, cereal, yogurt and much more! We did not check out the bar but with everything else excellent I am sure it would be the same. We would recommend this hotel to other travellers for sure. Walking distance to it all! Plus when they say air conditioning they mean it!!!! Cool rooms to sleep in at night in hot July weather!

Air conditioning in the room was not working. Requested assistance and hotel staff did nothing to fix it.

This hotel was amazing! Great recommendations for food and sights! Super friendly staff and an amazing breakfast and bar area. Very clean and centrally located in the area. When we return to Florence, we will stay here again.

Lovely little hotel! The staff was so friendly; they really out did themselves to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Good AC, firm mattress, plenty of towels, good shower. With the VIP package they gave us a bottle of sparking wine in our room, but when we got back from touring all day the ice in the bucket had melted. They exchanged it for a chilled bottle! Breakfast was fantastic. Fresh squeezed juice, gorgeous pastry selection, eggs, bacon and sausages. Highly recommend!

Hotel was excellent - loved the high ceilings and the general ambience

The staff were fabulous and recommended places to eat etc. they were so helpful. A shout out to the breakfast team, so very kind with amazing service. The room was large and with all the amenities that you would expect from a 4 star hotel.

Front desk is very helpful and they were able to get us reservations to a very sought after restaurant. Great location and stay!

This hotel is close to everything. 15 min from train station walking, 5 min to see David, and 10 min to everything else. The street is much quieter than any other location. The female staff at the front desk are amazing (smiley, positive, helpful, wonderful personalities, and happy to assist w anything). The remaining hotel staff are also lovely from housekeeping to the breakfast staff. I will the male at the front desk at night, Francesco, needs to brush up on how he helps guests. Limited interaction, no smile, not really helpful, and a bit off-putting. I asked him for directions to the post office to get Euro (which the women kindly informed us is the best place to exchange dollars for Euro since no tax) and his response on how to get there was, “left, left, left”. While accurate, not the most kind to guests who are unfamiliar w the city. The rooms were very clean, but the hotel in certain rooms and floors does have an odor. I’m curious if it is the water. Smells swampy/mildewy at times. Makes sense they have the deodorizers in each room. They quickly moved my room when I mentioned the issue and they were lovely about the concern. Breakfast is a wonderful buffet w croissants, pancakes, meats and cheeses, eggs, cereals, Prosecco, varietal coffees, teas, and juices. The hotel will book any excursion you want assistance with and also they offer umbrellas if it rains, and popsicles 24-7. You even get a welcome cocktail to have from 5:30-8! I loved this historical building!
