We were put on the 3rd floor (no elevator) and are over 70yrs. I think it should have been disclosed of being 44 steps up. Food was terrific. Location was good.

Wonderful in All aspects! The home is lovely: the decor, the courtyard, the rooms! Most of all Kristie is so lovely, easy to reach and helpful! I loved my stay and can’t wait to back! It’s also a short 23 minute walk to the French quarter.

This was an amazing place to stay- what a gorgeous house, what a picturesque courtyard where you can sit and read and relax. Amazing food every day, enjoyed the company of other guests at breakfast. Lovely service, great staff, very helpful. Highly recommend!!!

Nice location convenient to public transportation- St. Charles street car and #11Magazine bus. We liked the residential neighborhood and shops and restaurants on Magazine. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Very tasty breakfasts.

Terrel House has a beautiful terrace where we would enjoy the quiet evenings, after a full day of walking. Truly lovely!

This is a lovely old house - well-kept for almost 150 years old. The room and bed were quite comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is served anytime that is convenient for you, and it is very tasty. This is a great place to stay - relatively close enough to all the "action" (about 2 miles from the French Quarter) yet far enough away to be a quiet respite after a day of activity.

Gorgeous historic home in beautiful New Orleans. The accommodations were beyond comfortable. The staff was so friendly and easy to talk to. The breakfast was outstanding!

This B&B was located in a great area in the Garden District, and wonderful for our dog with the courtyard and nearby dog park. Kim, Michelle, and Linda were warm and friendly and the service was awesome. Kim’s breakfasts were amazing and Surrey’s was right across the street for lunch. Beds were comfortable and rooms were charming and clean. We can’t wait to come back with a group of friends!

Lovely historic mansion in lower Garden District with lovely courtyard, very quiet and safe. Walking distance to many good restaurants and shops.

I loved the staff, friendly atmosphere, and great spacious room. The king bed was super comfortable! It is an easy walk to at least 3 different coffee shops with excellent cafes and restaurants nearby. We even brought our little dog and there is a park to walk her less than a half block away. Of course, the gourmet breakfast each morning was terrific!! Excellent stay and we plan to return on our next visit to the Big Easy!

Our time at the Terrell House could not have been nicer. I stayed in the Yellow room which was beautifully decorated with complementary sodas, water and coffee. Every part of the Bed & Breakfast was extremely clean and peaceful. The fountains in the courtyard provided a relaxing atmosphere and it felt like a little paradise. Kim & Michelle were extremely helpful and friendly. They both made sure that our visit was comfortable and pleasant. I will definitely stay at the Terrell house on my next trip to New Orleans. Also, location is in Lower Garden district which is within walking distance of restaurants and other beautiful, historical homes! First class atmosphere without the pretentiousness!

Terrell house is the best place to stay in New Orleans. Not only is the decor exceptional, but the staff are some of the kindest people we have ever met. Every part of our experience here was perfect, from start to finish. The room and balcony were stunning, the bed was so comfortable, and the breakfast in the mornin was absolutely delicious. We never wanted to leave (and in fact we extended our stay several days). Cannot recommend enough !!!

Nice stay. Attentive staff. Very comfortable bed. Only thing I might add is the shower curtain needed changing. It was mildewed at the bottom. Which isn’t a huge deal but to some it may be off putting. However would absolutely stay here again

This is my & my husband’s favorite place to stay & we stay here every single time we travel to New Orleans from our home in Texas. The location is perfect for stepping just outside & exploring the quieter parts of New Orleans, & it is just under 2 miles from the bustling parts like the French Quarter. It’s the best of both worlds! The Terrell House is gorgeous, y’all!! The rooms are cozy & beautiful & I have never met a staff that makes you feel like family more than the staff at Terrell House. They are also pet friendly & that’s a rare find in a place as upscale as Terrell House.Now let’s talk about the breakfast.... oh my goodness! Everything is homemade & unique to New Orleans cuisine. You get to enjoy your breakfast each morning in a beautiful dining room complete with antique silverware & stunning crystal chandeliers overhead. The pricing of Terrell House coupled with the experience you get is unbeatable! You really need to look up the reviews on Terrell House on other sites if you don’t trust mine.
