The manager was very rude. I wanted to change my room because it was very small and my family is 5. I am very disappointed with the service they provided me. The manager told me that we are full and I cannot give you another room. I checked online and they had rooms available. Apart from that, he is a liar and very bad service.

This property is definitely over rated and overpriced.. its average, have stayed at better places.. for $500 /night you don’t even have complimentary breakfast, standard room w mini fridge. Hotel is showing need of upgrades etc.. Overall average!

We were moved to a different property that didn’t have an outdoor pool. Disappointed.

The pool is really nice but depending on the time of day it can get quite busy. The food was also excellent!

Our hotel stay was very good. The hotel and the rooms are very clean, our bed was very comfortable. The only thing that I would say that could be improved is that for the price of the hotel there should at least be some type of breakfast included.

Great customer service

North end of boardwalk so not as crowded on the beach. That being said, you are more limited in dining and shopping within walking distance. There are a few nice eateries close by such as Pocahontas Pancakes, Pelons Baja Grill and Mellow Mushroom pizza. Hotel itself was very clean/well kept. The staff was amazing. Jaylen checked us in and took care of us. He made us feel welcome upon arrival and took care of a booking discrepancy by Expedia. Thank you Jaylen! Somewhat spacious 2-queen room but not much storage. A 2-drawer dresser and small closet. Bathroom was small with nice shower head with plenty of water pressure. The view from the 7th floor was amazing! The outdoor pool is nice but gets crowded quickly and the poolside bar is so overpriced for snacks/food. They have a “strict” No outside food or beverages allowed…I think that a load of bull. Indoor pool is not worth the time, also didn’t look very clean. The hotel restaurant is subpar, the breakfast buffet should be free as it’s a basic continental set up. All in all, because of the cleanliness, staff, less crowdedness I would both recommend and stay at this hotel again.

It was a brief stay. The hotel was definitely oversold. We got switched to a handicap king room and my daughter slept o the sofa which was fine but there are no extra pillows for that in the room. We couldn’t check in until 6 but enjoyed the beach for a few hours. The pool was very overcrowded. No seats available anywhere. They wouldn’t give us late checkout because they said there were none left. It was a holiday weekend so I guess it was to be expected. It’s very clean and location is great. The pool is nice when you can use it. Go early to find a seat. The stars are always very friendly. We did observe ppl who were not staying at the hotel sneak into the pool area both days during our stay. They need to have key card access at the pool gates.

This is our second time staying here. Usually I go for a Hilton hotel but after staying here one summer, my daughters were hooked on the pool. It has a couple waterfalls and a slide in between. You can order food and drinks while poolside which is nice. The hotel staff is friendly, however, if you leave your towels in the basket by your door, they will take them and not replace them. I had to call the front desk each time and once I had to actually go there just to get towels (normally, the staff will bring them to the room). The rooms are basic Oceanside rooms…not the cleanest as they have high turnover rate. The shower was surprisingly nice and high pressure. We loved the location of this hotel…the beach and boardwalk were not as crowded as further down. You can rent beach chairs, loungers, umbrellas, and wind blockers daily…only catch is that they are in specific spots and you cannot move them closer to the water. The restaurants were close by too—walking distance: Mellow Mushroom (pizza), Pocahontas Pancakes (breakfast), Green Cat (coffee) just to name a few good ones. There’s parking next to the hotel and across the street; we didn’t have any trouble finding a spot. However, unlike most hotels, they don’t tell you that parking is $15/day. It’s not a bad price, but they should disclose that. I think we would come back again, but once the kids outgrow the pool…we would probably book a different hotel.

Clean facility with friendly staff. The amenities are many here. Very family friendly. Not enough elevators for the size of the facility. Long waits 10-15 mins most of the day. Request a low floor and use the stairs.

They clean the rooms every other day no trash pick up

The north Virginia Beach area is less crowded making for quieter beach days. The hotel’s pool has a unique rock waterfall feature that is enjoyable for the whole family and the large suite rooms are the most spacious hotel rooms I have ever been in. With that said, our check in experience was over an hour later than the expected 4 pm even though we were on the early check-in list. One clerk told me that he could downgrade my room so I could get into a room faster. We paid for the large suite so I had to wait longer. We had to ask for blankets for the pull out couch and were told they would be a while. When we went back down several hours later to ask again, a different clerk gave us the blankets and said they are right behind the counter. The bistro and bar did not have consistent hours, and the food options were limited. The breakfast buffet was not worth the expensive price per person, and paying for parking was something I had never had to do before at other hotels at this beach. Overall, the rooms were spacious and clean, the hotel was clean and the grounds were well kept, however the issues with staffing and pricey options that were not worth the money made this hotel earn less stars.

Don't have any complaints, check in was great, with friendly staff, housekeeping was great. Our room was nice and clean and beds were very comfortable. Also they have an awesome pool! It's a very safe quiet place to stay! Hope to go back soon! 🙂

View of the ocean was stunning. I loved waking up to it every morning.

Early check-in was a pleasant surprise! Staff very nice! Bed mattress not too comfortable and felt a little damp. Nice and quiet end of the beach.

Nice people, but we had to stay on housekeeping. They don’t clean every day. Pool was freezing cold.

Nice hotel. Price gouging by all the hotels on Memorial Day weekend😵‍💫 so definitely not worth it. Elevator capacity is not nearly enough for the volume of people

Very nice stay. Great room, ocean view. Terrific service. Big flaw: I did not have a car and despite not being asked about it, I was charged for parking anyway. Major problem.
