The service was excellent from all staff. The doorman knew my name, the breakfast staff knew what I liked to order. There is nothing negative about the hotel. Exception, which is not the hotel's fault the outside construction that did not allow for sleep past 8:30am.

This property was so beautiful, clean, etc. The staff were ever so accommodating. Breakfast was fenominable.
Full courses of fruits, cheese's. Fresh baked breads of large variety. Fresh French Press coffee, and cappuccino, beautiful presentation. Cannot say enough great things about this hotel! The concierge, Ronal was so helpful with great advice.

Very expensive but it is deluxe. Right now the hotels big problem is the DJ bands playing across the street and there is no way to sleep. They played past 130am. Appears that this is a current issue for this high end hotel and upsetting guests who want to sleep. We ended up changing rooms which is a major pain. Got a smaller outdated room and no lower rate. Guest services/concierge is truly amazing. Incredible service. Bellmen as well.

the coconut lemonade is the best thing here! overall, it was a great experience. lots of history in this hotel... we had a great time. the breakfast buffet was very tasty. feels very lux with all the fresh flowers in the lobby and pool area. very clean as well. will definitely stay here again.

Amazing Hotel! Best I have ever stayed at, went with my boy friend and we enjoyed it. Amazing service from everyone in the Staff, Rafael the bellman and Elis with Guest Services were great! Housekeeping on point, turndown service was perfect. Breakfast in the courtyard and the views from the rooftop were perfect! Thank you all! We definitely go back here next time in Cartagena.

The service at this hotel is exceptional, 5 star but it’s the only thing that warrants 5 stars. This place needs a major renovation. There’s a distinct odor of mold in the hallways and five out of the seven days we were there some kind of repair work was going on or the elevator was down or the roof was being worked on etc etc. The food was outstanding but I might take a look at the much more modern Sofitel for the prices they charge here.

I had an amazing stay at the Charleston Santa Teresa Cartagena. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was great although other options were at a walkable distance. I will definitely be back for another amazing vacation.

This hotel was by far a 5 star, they knew you by your name, they catered to every request they remembered what i ate for breakfast each day, they had enough pillows in each room, they had black out curtains, bathroom was amazing room size was spacious, they cleaned rooms like 3x per day, the pool view was the best, this is the BEST hotel in all of cartagena nothing like it you pay for top notch service and they had security at the hotels as well. Do you self a favor and stay here entry is secure so not anyone can enter

The property is beautiful. Food is excellent. My dissatisfaction comes from noise. Construction directly above us every morning at 8:00am and it was loud. Also the cleaning staff starts making it’s rounds at 7:00am using walk-in-talkies or something like that throughout the halls.
Also there’s a bar across the street that plays loud drums all night. If you can sleep through noise you’ll be fine.
The front desk staff was not particularly friendly and charged us for a “broken” iPad we never used or touched.
