The administration Need to be more effective

Stay away from this hotel. We were doing a family reunion with about 18 adults and kids and rented the suites with ocean view and bought the American breakfast package for all 6 rooms. At breakfast time my husband found a tiny cockroach in his fruit plate, my cousin found another tiny cockroach in her napkin with utensils and my brother-in-law found a medium size cockroach walking on the table near his plate. When we complained about all the cockroaches on our table they said to compensate us they wouldn’t charge us for the fruit we all ordered since our breakfast package included either fruit or juice and we all had fruit and juice. We went to reception to complain about our experience and right there in the floor we found a huge dead cockroach and they said that they couldn’t do anything else to compensate us because they already gave us free fruit, which was contaminated with cockroaches. I wish I could have my money back and the health department would close down their restaurant. I have stayed at better places for about the same prices or even cheaper.

I am very annoyed with this hotel, first nothing is the same as the photos, the pools are very dirty, according to they offer a slide on the site and it is always closed besides that throughout the hotel there are no lifeguards the rooms are very small if you ask for extra towels They deny you there are no irons in the rooms and since you arrive in the room there are many ants the service is bad and be careful because when you check out they do not let you go until they check your room and look for a way to charge you extra for everything if you dirty the towels

The property was in bad shape so the towels and rooms weren’t clean enough in the shower you can see bunch of hairs from before

Not sure what the picture represents, but there was no slide at the Alba Suites. There was barely running water. The beds had concrete pedestals (yes like prison). The refrigerator was a defrosted mess and wouldnt work until after maintenance came in. Just a sad, dilapidated mess for which we paid a premium. So dissappointed.

MUY BUEN SERVICIO, LO ÚNICO QUE NO ME GUSTÓ FUE QUE EL CONTROL DE LA TELEVISIÓN NO FUNCIONÓ Y HASTA LA ULTIMA NOCHE DESPUÉS DE TANTO REPORTAR TAL SITUACIÓN, NOS CAMBIARON LA TELEVISIÓN COMPLETA.

The swimming pool is too crowded. Room next door is having a very loud music until the wee hours. Good for if you wanna party the whole night but not with little kids in tow. The beach is not nice. Not for little kids. The room have an unpleasant smell. We arrive at 6 pm and check out right away the following morning. We didn’t enjoy too much crowd

Nice view, but too hot to enjoy in or out. A/C impossibly noisy! Sewage stink throughout, WORSE in our room! Complaints barely regarded. Huge distances between rooms and anything with many, many stairs. Impossible to go anywhere without breaking into serious sweat! Moved to a much better and more friendly accomodation 100 meters away. Same view. Quiet A/C. No stink. Friendly staff. Cleaner. AND CHEAPER!! Go to Aristos Hotels, instead!

We were showed to our accommodation promptly The hotel is older and there was more stairs than we expected to access our edifice.The edifice elevator was not always cooperating. The room was clean, good size fridge, there was a beautiful breeze on the balcony. We also had a nice view of the city. It was quiet. The bus service to the Caleta beach and shopping area was really appreciated. They have a lot of long term, friendly, Canadian guests and they guided us around. We had a relaxing week at Alba suites, the pools were clean and enjoyable. The pool chairs comfortable. Their convenience store was really handy.

The view was beautiful. Bathroom was so small and smelled horrible.

Over all good staff was amazing air condition and wifi had troubles but over all it was good

Needless to say I had a very unpleasant experience staying at the Alba Suites that I booked through Expedia. Both the services and environment were sorely lacking.The services from housekeeping were not the best, I asked for a few pool towels and the lady at the place refused to give them to me because she said there was a towel schedule! The jacuzzi was available for only 4 hours a day. The “bath” towels were kind of hand towels. There were never any beach towels available to go to the Beach Club. The bathroom door had slits which meant there was no privacy between the bathroom and the bedroom. The water from the shower smelled like sewage. The two free upgrade you advertised on my reservation, were only available by investing in a time share!The main issue here is the environment and the poor services that we received in relation to the price we paid.I'm used to traveling and staying in a variety of hotels that provide a standard quality of service expected. I definitely won’t be recommending wasting your money on this place and it certainly isn’t worth the service for the price you pay. Furthermore I am disappointed in Expedia for not being sufficiently knowledgeable about the hotels they allow to be advertised and will certainly have to reconsider whether to use your services in the future.

I went to the front desk around 8am, they told me they would call me back when the manager would arrive. By 9:30 I hadnt received a call, so i went back to the front desk which was quite a walk as the property has 7 or 8 buildings with a lot of steps and ramps. They made me have a seat, and 15 mins later, they gave me the vouchers. The rooms come with a kitchenette however you have to go pick up the kitchen items at a separate building. When we tried to return the items upon checkout, they tried to charge us for items that were not listed on our receipt. Police were everywhere in full uniform carrying their large weapons. They took up all the parking, with the hotel calling my room at 2 in the morning saying i had to move my car because i wasnt allowed to park there! Also, they say they offer free wi-fi, it’s not strong enough to do anything with! We were at the pool and when we arrived back in our rooms, several items had been stolen. Treated very poorly, told by a night manager that he didnt care and that it was our fault for leaving it in the room. Our time was wasted dealing with an incompetent night manager. We returned the next two mornings, nothing solved. Alba suites had the facilities to be great, but failed miserably on service and hospitality. Also, the staff did not know English. Very disappointed.

there was no parking due to the federales are the guest at the hotel and the ac barely works , i had a bad inpresion very old hotel

Don't expect to be right on the beach when you leave the hotel. If you can handle walking 5 mn and take a bus then you are at the right place. It is really worth doing that and avoiding paying $$$ to be on the beach (where you end up anyway). It is clean, people are nice, and the view is great.
