Very fun designed rooms with comfortable large beds. Check in was easy through the website and the QR code. There are bakeries and supermarkets next door making it very convenient. It is not as central as the other Superbude stays but it is still fairly easy to get around. I would definitely come back and would have loved to stay longer.

Very nice hotel, very friendly staff. I liked the environment-friendly attitude (for example room service only upon request or after 3 days).

It was really cool. Loved the welcome drink and the parking availability

Location good for business, not so good if you are a tourist. Hotel is fun, well looked after and more interesting to stay in than the chain business hotels.

Excellent on all fronts. Fantastic location. Has everything close at hand. Walking distance to trains, buses, bistro, bakery, supermarkets, Great service, bicycles to hire, clean/comfy. Only thing is the wifi is slow.

Short stay but the hotel was clean and staff very helpful. My only gripe was the lack of iron in the room but seems to be fairly normal for the area. I’m sure if if requested one it would have been provided but I arrived late at 2300 and left early at 0700 the next morning. Travelling for business so looking smart is a requirement.

This is was second stay in this hotel, but the first together with my wife, and it did not disappoint.The place was being refurbished which meant that the main entrance was out of order, as was restaurant, but they did not let this be any real inconvenience as they used a side door and access to their sister hotel just a tiny hop along the same complex.The room was spotless, the tv, lights and everything worked as you would expect and the bed was very comfortable.My own slight niggle was that the show cubicle is a bit smaller than I would have liked, which combined with the location of the extractor fan meant that the shower curtain was too close to me and occasionally got stuck to me.Overall I really like this hotel, the small discomforts do not detract from the overall enjoyment of the place, the staff are all super friendly and seem to speak several languages fluently ( great for a non Germanic speaker like me ) and I would not hesitate to book the next time I return to Hamburg.

Fantastic retro/lounge style hotel with excellent breakfast, and very large rooms. Placed in walking distance of both Barclaycard Arena and City center, if you are well on your feet. (5 km i both directions approx) as the Hotel is right in the middle of these two locations. We will definately stay there again anytime.

Hotel itself is okay however be aware that the majority of rooms don’t have air conditioning, even the XL ones. I stayed and it was 35degrees and impossible to sleep, ended up having to downgrade to get AC and the hotel staff were in no way apologetic nor offered any sort of compensation despite the ‘forced’ downgrade. Some rooms also have a very strange layout with a separate toilet by the entrance, makes no sense at all!

Hamburg is not a difficult city in terms of traveling, however we can say the hotel is a bit out of the city. It's recommended if you are driving as they offer free parking. The internet is working over coupons, while it's unlimited the speed is limited to 512kb making it a trouble to watch a video on youtube. If you keep you business attitude, make sure that you know it. There are bad reviews about the food but the restaurant is definitely worth trying, a decent chips with a huge cheeseburger is about 10 euros. While everything seems to be custom built for the hotel, everything seems to have a design sense from Ikea or Habitat. That's not how I think of a design hotel, I think of more upscale furnitures but everything looks clean and yes, there is a design sense for sure. I wish rooms had air conditioning and I wish all rooms had a minibar. The first time I stayed here, I had XL room with a minibar, the second time I stayed at an M room with no minibar and my third time was at a L room with no minibar. Just so you know all rooms are huge and M rooms are as big as L rooms. Don't pay any extra for a bigger room, I can easily tell that the rooms equal to three times of an average Parisian hotel room. There are bikes and Mini Coopers to rent which is good and they offer you a free beverage when u check-in where I have only been offered for once, on my second check-in.
